Lovely Sunday roasts. 2 for £22. Home cooked food and massive portions.

There was 43 of us and hats off to these guys they nailed it. The food was amazing, all in time and hot. Compliments to the chef. The barman was brilliant, such a happy fellow he was contagious and made everyone smile. Honestly 10/10 for this family run establishment, I will definitely be back 😁

Me and my boyfriend visited, the staff were lovely! The women behind the bar had great costumer service! The gent who served us was so lovely! The food was delightful my boyfriend had the full rib special saying it’s was easily the nicest he’s ever had! We will definitely be coming again 10/10

We were on a day out to Tywyn and could not find many places suitable to eat, we suddenly spotted this place. It was very quiet in there which concerned us at high summer but we went ahead and chose a meal each for lunch. Literally amazing food, well presented and worth the money. The music was playing but we were happy with the selection of music and had a nice relaxing lunch before spending the afternoon at the beach.

Bar staff could be a bit more welcoming a smile is always nice but a nice pub

Had 2 great meals there during our stay in Tywyn. The sizzler for 2 priced at £29.95 was exceptional value and absolutely beautiful. Great hosts, great service.

If you like to hear the F word said every other word by the bar and a bad attitude Brummie serving then this is the place for you. Personally would recommend the tradeger arms more family friendly .

Popped in for a drink and couldn’t help but order the Sunday lunch! Very generous portions. Nicely cooked veg. Cauliflower cheese was lovely. Very reasonably priced. The pub is dog friendly. Always a regular when we holiday in the area.

We ate two of the tandoori sizzlers between 5 of us with the trimmings and it was more than enough and absolutely beautiful food!

Would highly recommend the food was delicious and the service was excellent we had the Indian sizzlers which were delicious and plentiful

I booked to take my 97 year old father here for Fathers Day lunch as he wants to go to visit Tywyn. This was based on positive reviews of the food. I must admit that my first impression when we walked in wasn’t very positive as the place looked a little rough and ready with music playing loudly. I peeped into the dining room and saw that only one table had been occupied at this time and this set alarm bells off as I expected it to be full with it being Father day. However ……… my fears were quickly put to rest when the food arrived. It was absolutely gorgeous and there was plenty of it. Two of us had lamb and two had beef. There was plenty of meat and it was really tender and tasty. Unfortunately we did not have room for pudding but Dad said that it was the best roast dinner that he had had for a very long time (and he goes out for Sunday lunch every week!). Do not be put off by first impressions - it is well worth a visit and when we are next in the area we will definitely be having a meal there again. Thank you.

Went for the Father’s Day menu, 3 courses for £19.50. Food was delicious, hubby had tempura prawn starter, I didn’t want a starter so my meal was £16.50 for 2 courses. We then had a choice of meats which came with all the trimmings. Plenty of food on large plates and piping hot. We paid an extra £3 for cauliflower cheese so glad we did it serves at least 2 people and was lovely. We both had a strawberry sundae for pudding which were really good. Definitely a fantastic place to eat. Good service, lovely food at a reasonable price, highly recommended

Went for evening food last night, and we had been recommended to try the ‘sharing sizzler’ for two. Oh my, what a meal. The plates of food just kept coming and once the table was fully set we were invited to enjoy ourselves. The flavours, although a little on the hot side for me usually, were superb. It was simply a mammoth amount of great tasting food at a very good price. We’ve been to the Whitehall before and always had great food but this took it up another notch. Well done to the hosts John & Sarah.

I came with a large group of friends a few times to the Whitehall and could not have had a better time! For such a large group that I came in with, the staff did amazingly and the food was superb. It came out piping hot and was lovely. I had the cheeseburger and the beef was top tier, as-well as one of the nicest Tikka Masalas I have ever had, so much so I had it twice. Drinks were definitely reasonably priced and the members of staff were so friendly and welcoming that I just had to leave a review. I’d come here every time I came to Tywyn!

Been here for about a week and visited Whitehall twice, both times the service has been very amazing and welcoming and generally kind. Atmosphere from when I’ve been here (4-8pm) has been calm and soothing despite the numerous of people in the pub. Portion sizes are considerably generous with the pricing and the food has been the best we’ve ate in Tywyn and local areas. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying and looking for a nice meal with the family. The guy behind the bar is very nice and the woman who does front of house is very kind. 10/10 will come here again when we visit again.

My favourite local for food! Good, tasty grub! Steaks are cooked to perfection every time ! Pizza’s are fab too! Booked for 6 friends and 2 dogs for Sunday lunch. Sat in bar area. Warm welcome by licencee. Five of us ordered the mixed meat roast and one had the beef. When the meals arrived the plates were enormous. Loads of meat, Yorkshire pud, stuffing, roasties and lots of veg. We had cauliflower cheese as extra and it was delicious. Plenty of gravy and extra brought out. It was a really good home cooked Sunday roast. We all cleared our plates and were so full could not fit in desert. We will def be going back next time we visit. A great place for Sunday lunch. Dropped in for an unplanned lunch, was seated straight away at the start of lunch service, food arrived quickly and hot, all fresh produce and vegetables, tasted delicious and was reasonably priced! Would highly recommend ⭐️

The man who takes orders was very miserable and unfriendly. The Spinach and potato curry was very overpriced considering the portion size. Menu very basic! Didn't offer desserts. Pub a bit rowdy and rundown, but was the only pub who would accept pets. This town is in desperate need of a new dog friendly pub!

The food was cooked to perfection, everyone in my group was left more than satisfied with their meals, I would personally recommend going for the horseshoe gammon. The service was great, we did visit here on the Sunday but unfortunately it was only pizzas on the menu. Definitely one to revisit and try some more dishes.

We had an excellent Sunday lunch we had the Beef which is locally sourced. The vegetables were cooked precise nice colour and with the right crispiness. Their was plenty of meat per portion. The picture shows how the meal is presented but you can add cauliflower cheese,mash,extra roast and Yorkshire for an extra price. You will need to book so your not disappointed. The location is bottom end of then opposite the picture house
