Horrible landlord and landlady. Patronising and rude. Very unprofessional with how they deal with issues - not a great image for the owners Amber. Wouldn’t recommend or venture near it.

Love this pub, i asked a mate a while ago whats the best pub in the small town centre 😀, He said this place soi went & actually loved it..wetherspoons was absolutely rammed (no seats) so i walked out & came here, plenty of seats and an open plan set up really..Some of the older ones eyed me up but you get that in most pubs..staff very friendly and music was very low, plenty of screens to watch , i think the toilets are upstairs but i never went so cant confirm that..would i go again of hell yes, 😀 👍

I am disgusted by the staff - me and my friends were watching Joshua v usyk 2 and after having our second round we were finished our drinks, I was driving so couldn’t have another so we were just sat excited for the boxing. Two members of staff came over and verbally abused us stating that we had to get a drink or we could be kicked out as we were sat down and they had regulars standing up. I have never been more disrespected by a business in my life, I am disgusted and will never come in here again after regulars were prioritised ahead of ourselves even though we had been sat there for 2+ hours.

Proper jam packed. Bouncer pushed my mate who was trying to let a lass with drinks past out her way into the lass with drinks. Left without buying anything.

If you like old blokes and horse racing then this is for you. Place is always clean and they do live music on a Friday night.

Always room when you go in sometimes a bit busy but most times ok plenty of variety of drink surroundings ok

Not a good experience. Don't like the clientele it attracts .Staff unpleasant and don't watch the queue and serve people who have pushed in and won't wait there turn .

I've only been since the revamp but it's a pretty nice pub. Nothing very unique or spectacular, but the decor is nice and it generally has a good vibe.

If you're female do not use the toilets. They slope really badly so as you fall off the seat. Apparently I'm the only person ever sober enough to notice. And that's a massive pile of bollocks .
