Ideal venue, especially if you want a tranquil backdrop. The basin will give you that, especially in the evening. I didn't stay overnight, so I can not comment on the rooms.

I can’t recommend The Wharf highly enough. Spencer and Nanette are very professional and they are obviously very good at what they do as they make it all look like a breeze! All our requests for our party were met with no problems at all and their suggestions and recommendations were very helpful. All the guests who hadn’t been there before commented on what a wonderful venue it was and how they felt like they were much further away from home! The food was great although I didn’t get to eat a crumb as I was too busy having a good time! There were feel good vibes the whole time, even when we’d practically out stayed our welcome by 1am! Thank you guys, it was a blast 💥 🥳🥂🍾🍻🎶

Don’t go here. The staff are so unhelpful and greedy. Due to my partner being seriously ill on the day they refused to move my date and said it was impossible to do so. Of course you can move it! You own the place! They were not interested one bit.

Had our wedding reception at the Wharf and also stayed the night. Nanette and Spence are absolutely incredible hosts and the venue is stunning. Would’ve given more stars but can only give 5!

One of the best music venues in the area. Polite staff and good value. For bands, the stage is a decent size with a drum riser. House p.a. or use your own rig. It's a safe venue and I've not seen any trouble here in many visits over the years.

Canal side pub with lovely rooms. Room had a little kitchen area fridge & microwave & a comfy chair. Great views out my window of the canal,park area & town shops (2 minutes walk). Great value for size of room.

Hi me and my wife were invited to a evening wedding reception 1st May, it was very busy ,but I must say the staff were amazing they never stopped working hard all night with a smile on there face ,I was very impressed by all the staff and owners. My verdict its a top place and well worth a visit

Had a really lovely evening at The Wharf, we experienced their black rock steaks. They were mouth-wateringly great. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and intimate, service was friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The menu we all ate from was for steaks, you choose your cut of meat and sauce accompaniment, it all arrived at the table so we could cook our steak to our personal liking. The steak was served with delicious chips, fresh salad and butters. Can honestly say that we didn’t realise their food was this good, but now we know we won’t be staying away, great night, something a bit different so you have the theatre of cooking your food and it’s all delicious. Thank you so much for a truly lovely evening

I recently held a surprise party for my mum, dad and Auntie. It's is a fantastic venue, beautiful decor inside and the staff are friendly and very help. Nanette was our main contact prior to the event and she did a superb job organising everything. I would highly recommend this for any function.

Maybe refurbishing not quite completed yet but excellent Sunday Lunch compensated fully. Young lady who served couldn't do enough for the four of us. All plates were piping hot, all tables scrubbed clean.Cannot fault the food.

It was the first time I'd been to the Wharf We had Sunday lunch which was lovely. Tender meat a good selection of perfectly cooked veg and all served piping hot. They were generous portions and all at a good price served by friendly efficient staff. We will definitely be going again and I would recommend it.

As the title states, lovely location, right by the river, lovely late summer day. Service slow but only 1 waitress who was really working hard! Food good, wine I have had better, would visit again in the summer.

One of the best for price assistance, experience and overall comfort. Great rooms, staff fantastic and the location is fantastic. Local town just down the River. What a day to end a long day on the road travelling to The Wharf one of the best places Ive stayed on my travels. Attend a wedding here, beautiful location, beautiful room. Such a great evening, only downfall was the 2 x bar staff, both so serious and never cracked one smile...not people persons at all came across moody and affect the atmosphere.

Very nice place to stop. Close to everything. Would stop here again, but you have to remember music doesn't stop till midnight. You can here it in every room. So if you have little ones who go bed early. I wouldn't recommend them staying here. But definitely will come back. Xxx

Called for drinks only and thoroughly enjoyed them in the sunshine by the basin. The inside of this venue is amazing. Go and have a look. Very friendly staff and good covid arrangements in place. Recommended.

Very nice pub/restaurant close to the River Severn and canal basin area in Stourport. Plenty of outdoor tables and dog friendly. Wyre Valley draft beers available.

The decor is dated and feels like you are eating in a Garden Centre Cafe. The area around the Basins is historic but this is not portrayed by the Wharf, the food was OK and we couldn't understand why we were given a menu when the only option was a Carvery, the Pork was very fatty and more like belly draft. A bit of a disappointment.

Really enjoyed my stay, for a friend's birthday party. Nice touches in the room, like fresh milk in the fridge for a proper cuppa - just what was needed after a long drive there! The venue itself is great, and the staff (in particular Nanette) were brilliant. Highly recommended.

Just celebrated my 50th birthday party here, amazing venue, great ambiance setting is fantastic too . Nanette and spencer the owners were so obliging, nothing was too much trouble, lewis and bar staff again fantastic. All the guests were totally bowled over by the wharf ❤️

Fantastic old building, tastefully restored as music venue

Nice small venue. Friendly staff. Had a great night watching The Ska Studs. There's a bar, a small dance floor, upstairs seating area and a pool room in the back. The toilets could do with updating, but I suppose you can't have everything!

Held my wedding here. Amazing time had by all. What a great venue. Food is fabulous. Rooms are very clean and comfortable . Nanette and Spencer are great hosts nothing is to much trouble. I would recommend this venue for an all round experience

We returned here with family for another Sunday lunch. Once again, there was plenty of tasty food for the money and service was very good. We will definitely return.

I held my 50th birthday party here on Saturday and stayed the night after the party had finished, the venue is very impressive, it has a VIP area upstairs with comfortable seating that overlooks downstairs, fab dance floor and ample seating, two bars one for the venue and a smaller one for regulars to use when private parties are using the venue. They also have live music/ bands on a Friday and Saturday night depending on private parties, chilled acoustic sets on a Sunday afternoon. The owners Nanette and Spencer are a lovely couple, very friendly and welcoming, the buffet I had was delicious and plentiful, the staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble, they also do Sunday lunches which I wholeheartedly recommend. The room I booked was perfect, ensure shower and toilet, kitchenette with fridge, microwave and kettle with tea & coffee making facility's. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and I slept like a log.

A good place to host most events, the staff are friendly but had a lack of parking spaces.

Top place great for a nice walk around the warf and a beer or glass of wine good choice of places to visit

How know one has had an accident here astounds me, the balcony is a disaster waiting to happen and it’s an area for vips ??

A wonderful venue for music nights or a get together on Saturday or Sunday afternoons when music is also played ( although not in the week ) The rooms are very nice and well worth staying in as is the restaurant ( excellent food) although the beer quality does vary

Went to a party here , a lovely place to hold a party , decorated very well by the management . Also a resident band was playing which was excellent . Home brewed beer was served here , also a wide variety of gins , what was disappointing was the cost of soda water , £1 for a small glass. But a good night .

I recently had my 30th Birthday Party at The Wharf and I couldn’t have chosen better. Nanette was extremely easy to communicate with, making the whole experience stress-free. The venue is fantastic - very atmospheric and spacious. Decorations aren’t really necessary as the bare brick and fairy lights speak for themselves. The venue made it easy for the 12-piece swing band to set up and the acoustics in the room were great. My friends and I stayed in the B&B over night and were extremely happy with the cleanliness, size and comfort of the rooms. Great value too! Thank you Nanette for helping to make my 30th birthday one to remember (and for my umbrella 😉)!

We visited for Sunday lunch in the restaurant after a booking was made by other family members who had eaten here before. Food was plentiful, tasty, reasonably priced and was also served quickly. I would certainly have no problems eating here again.

What a great venue for a celebration of any kind (a wedding reception we attended ) Spencer the landlord couldn't do enough for us and others who attended so much so we went back and had an awesome Sunday lunch in theire new resteraunt luckily enough for us that on the day we went they had introduced the lamb shanks to the Sunday roast menu it was cooked to perfection with all the trimmings and on a stunning sunny day that allowed us to have beers outside afterwards after complimenting him and his wife on such a great location and food they mentioned about upstairs so when we finished Spencer and his wife still had time to show us the rooms which couldn't have been any better and put together to an extremely high standard so much so we booked there and then for our up and coming anniversary in November whilst booking Spencer mentioned they had just had a Google photographer in to shoot a 360 ° GOOGLE VIRTUAL TOUR that meant anyone looking at there photos section on the business listing page could now walk through from top to bottom of this fantastic little hidden gem springs with the panoramic views of canal boats moored up one side to the beautiful river Severn the other side being someone who has grown up with holidays up and down the Severn from camping with tents to B&B,s to lodges to hotels this place is a must ....cant wait for our 3 days in November....!!
