Had my grandaughters communion there recently the room was decorated beautifully the DJ was exceptional for the kid's and the bar staff were really friendly and helpful

Used to be a rough joint, it's been remodeled and painted. I purchased a glass of wine that had been opened who knows when and it was straight vinegar. The bartender opened a new bottle for me.

So why did I rate this place down when the atmosphere and food were great - because I'd not expect my female guests to have to share toilets with drunk men!

Maryland StreetHighly recommend the Hope and Anchor to anyone in the area, they offer a wide selection of drinks / food, plenty of seating options, Pool / darts available, as well as sports on tv. Everything you could want from a pub really! The food is well priced and delicious, I had a triple stack burger 👌🏻 Finally but most importantly you can tell the pub is well run - all the staff are really friendly and deliver a high standard of customer service, we were served by James who was fantastic - thank you and keep up the good work guys 👍🏼

5 Brunswick StreetAmazing selection of craft cocktails. Bartenders are real professionals. Watching them create these cocktails is like watching an artist create a masterpiece. Also awesome atmosphere with good music! It's a little pricey but 100000% worth the price of admission. I had a couple different drinks but the salted caramel espresso martini is quite lovely
