The Watchmakers Bar & Grill in Calderdale

Amazing place in Halifax, what a place to go to for a Sunday roast!! Also a great place to go for a meal with your family I highly recommend it for a decent night out on a Saturday or Evan a Friday evening!

Great bar, just what Halifax needed. The lady on the door is outstanding. Such a friendly, polite aura. Big shout out Watchmakers!

Visited for a spot of lunch, only one other couple in there at 2pm, lovely decor, the place was very cold, although was freezing outside as well. Ordered bottle of wine & young lady behind bar was going to bring it over. 10 minutes later went to order food & mentioned the wine & she had completely forgot about it. Big mark up on the Wine £20 expensive when you can purchase the same bottle it at B&M for at least £6.99. Husband ordered Ribeye Steak Medium with a Peppercorn Sauce, steak was well done & the sauce was brought out 10 mins after the meal, it was tasteless & watery. Mine was Cajun Chicken Sandwich which came in a flatbread with chips which was lovely, ordered a portion of onion rings they could have done with been cooked a little bit more. Think it is a working progress with room for improvement

Lovely new bar in Halifax. Decided to eat and wasnt disappointed. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Would definitely return. Give it a try
