The Waffle Cone in Worthing

We are a local young family and we’re treat very well by the nice man working there. Very happy and great price especially for round here. We will be regular guests now my son is aware it’s there. Defo worth a visit

Birthday treat from daughter, and it was a real treat. Lovely ice cream and waffle, very friendly and helpful staff. Price compares favourably with deserts bought at other places in Windermere. Will definately return.

We visited this week whilst staying in Windermere, and I have to say was really disappointed. Pretty expensive for what you get, more so than other places, and literally have one waffle maker (which is ridiculous for somewhere trying to specialise in waffles!).. so very slow service. Staff appeared unfriendly and inexperienced. We wouldn’t return - several other shops for ice cream which are much nicer

We were in the Windermere store and as the lady at the counter handed the cone with the Cadburys flake 99 to our 7yr daughter, the flake fell on the floor. We said the flake hadn’t been inserted securely into the cone and asked for a replacement flake which was given.   After paying we realised that they had charged us for two flakes! The one that fell on the floor and the replacement.   What was unpleasant was that the cashier said this was management policy and when I asked how to make a complaint to management, she said there was no way. Sadly, my only recourse is to go onto social media to warn others of such an unpleasant experience.   Whilst we live locally, we hope that they do not treat holiday makers, with such disregard for the sake of Cadburys flake 99 for which they charged us 50p (Twice!) but would probably have cost them no more than 12p from a local wholesaler. If this is indeed management policy, management should really listen to reasonable complaints.    No complains about the taste of the ice cream though.

Amazing choice of ice creams (including gluten free and vegan choices). Great selection of hot and cold snacks and drinks and super friendly service!

My 5 year old and I have become regulars over the last few months, We LOVE it! we've tried the waffles and various ice creams and always have such a warm welcome. There is a little seating area and we watch the world go by and so much choice on the meu of waffles, churros, even regular teas and coffee and huge selection of english lakes ice cream. Very indulgent. It's always busy when we go which is always a good sign. We've been given a little loyalty card so we get something free if we go a certain number of times - quite excited about reaching that milestone! Really worth a visit.
