Garlic bread like cardboard, pizza really greasy, not be having again.

I was visiting my brother so first time getting food here , the chap taking my order wasn't very chatty and it was two different sauce on separate kebabs and i asked him to mark the box so i knew what dox was what , he didn't mark it so getting home we then had to start looking . Only one other person in the shop.and he he looked nervous tapping his feet and talking on his phone in anger god know what language it was and found out he was the delivery man . The food it self was pk pita at the bottom folded with the meat on top then the salad then a pot of sauce in the middle. On the menu it only says med large no small kebabs ? But the one i got wasn't med and definitely not large it was small compared to the normal places i go , Found out on my return back home that there are two other kebab shops in the village so i will be giving this shop a miss in the future .

Friendly staff always good to talk to been a regular customer for about 3 years and the food is tremendous and is worth the money

Been going here for years, sad to say today very poor. Both myself and my partner asked for sauce. None provided. Presentation very poor. Don't think I will go again. Paid £15. Very disappointed. Didn't get what I ordered and food was badly presented and was dry.

Utterly disappointed recently moved into the area and decided to order from the village pizza house. Only thing good is the duration on preparation. Delivery driver turned up and decided to spit on my property and when I angrily questioned him about it he made the excuse that he spat out his chewing gum. I then told him to go and pick it up and he didn't (as it wasn't chewing gum I saw it with my own eyes) absolutely disgusting. I phoned up the takeaway and was told that he wasn't their normal delivery driver he was just covering. I do not care you don't spit on someone's garden. Food on the otherhand was edible. Will not order from here again.

Thought we’d try somewhere different tonight. We ordered the shoe box special to share between 2. We know times are hard but the portion sizes are ridiculous (tiny) for the £20.70 we paid. Will not be returning

We have been going to the village since it first opened over 10 years ago, the food is always to a high standard and the customer service is exceptional. Not once have we ever had a bad meal from here or encountered any issues. We order from here at least once a week. 10/10 recommend!

I had made a big mistake with my online order and The Village House generously refunded me even though they had already made my pizzas. This was very generous of the Pizza House who were not obliged to do this. I am very grateful !

DO NOT ORDER HERE! Multiple orders have been missing items in past months. Having been a regular (weekly) customer for a few years, the vendor seemed to get too familiar with me - often quoting collection waiting times of 25 minutes which ended up being 1 hour+ on occasions (especially unfortunate when having children waiting on this for a 'treat'). Quality seems to have slipped in recent times, recipes have been changed/are inconsistent - the overall standard is much poorer than it ever has been. Enough is enough here, I suggest anybody wanting takewaway pizza...etc around Chesterfield looks elsewhere

Absolutely disgusting, kebab was horrible no taste whatsoever, pitta bread was hard, chips were very greasy. Way over priced. Never getting food from here again, what a waste of money. Very poor customer service.

Lovely pizzas brilliant price 2 for£10/99

Stopped for a chicken kebab last night to say I was disappointed was under statement nan bread was flat soggy and stale the salad was awful just mushy lettuce and chopped cabbage with some carrot and salt .cheap bottled sauces after I asked if they made theirs onsite and was told "yes all made here " will never stop here again. The chicken was tasty though but still not worth the £9.00 price.

We were regulars, we ordered everyweek and used to loved But NEVER again. We ordered a texas bbq pizza, chips and garlic mayo, our usual. But tonight the chicken in the pizza was off! it tasted rotten. I called and informed them and was told that it was impossible that the chicken was rotten because "no one else had complained", not an apology but an accusation that I was lying. I am so disappointed, I just hope now that we aren't ill!

If you want to eat at 7pm.then you'd better order at 4pm! Used to be really good but last few times had wrong orders and waiting well over an hour. Not ordering from here again.

After 1 hour and 35 mins our 2 pizzas and bottle of coke arrived.. but the driver forgot the coke and told us to keep a pound even tho the bottle of coke is £2, ordered garlic bread with cheese.. guess what, come with no cheese.. this place must be ran by toddlers, i wouldnt waste my time with this place again.

Sat at work with my colleague, fancied some takeaway so placed an order here. Ordered about half past 5, arrived at 7:15pm should have ordered it the day before may have got to us on time. Had the lovely driver shouting at us over the phone because we wasn't outside, to reveal we was stood outside and he was at the completely wrong place- no apology, 10/10 for service right there. Dismissing the time, when it arrived my chips and cheese costing £2.50 (which he tried to charge me £3.20 for) were no bigger than a babbies hand, and my friends chicken was hard to identify as chicken, looked like scraggly scraps. Rang up the take away to complain about the driver shouting at us and nothing happened. Amazing service guys.

Amazing pizza, and the mozzarella dippers are beautiful. Great to be able to order and pay online on there website through PayPal. Honestly can't fault the food at all. A little over priced and at peak times the delivery can be over 60 mins. Still the best takeaway in Chesterfield by far.

Pizzas here are lovely. Well cooked. Taste is great. Never had a problem with delivery but when I order to collect they'll say a time then I go and have to wait 20 minutes

Ordered Pizza via their website for 8.05pm. Now 9.25pm and still no show. When they come they taste great though so please sort your deliveries out!!

Used to use these all the time, now it's gone down the pan.2 hour wait for food to be delivered. No food delivered. Try somewhere else.

Was the worst chicken kebab I have ever had it was so small for the price plus you had to make it yourself I am sure you order takeout so you don't have to do it yourself waste of money
