I never received any order and called the chip shop they were already on the way back to the chip shop before the designated delivery time. I have not had any news of a refund yet and I am very dissapointed. No doorbell was rang. I am unhappy I received no order.

Found 2 fish bones within a fish supper, brought back to show the shop and got told “there’s not much we can do with a fish bone in a fish” Poor customer service. No refund / partial refund offered

Highly recommend food is always cooked fresh and amazing atmosphere, staff are lovely know how to handle an issue when need to be, never rude always polite and very fast service always make time to try and fit you in when busy, any issues they can resolve it. Never fail to disappoint 😊

Always good food and service, worthwhile travel to have a fantastic fish supper.

Been here before during lockdown and it was really nice so as we were around the area we decided to stop by for our tea. It pains me to say we won't be back the only thing we had that had any quality was the brown bag we got to carry it out to our car and that's no joke. We won't be backp. But the young lady that served us was really nice just a pity about the food.

Just had the Katsu Curry Rice box. What a treat it was, plenty of chicken and the sauce was rich and tasty. The staff are amazing and friendly, always smiling.

Fish tasted like it was cooked in old oil, chewy and greasy. Only bought from here because of the "good" reviews. Must have low standards up here. Never again.

food quality as always, pick up was slightly later than anticipated but to be expected in last hour of opening hours on a Saturday night.

It’s busy for a reason ! We did have to wait ten mins, due to the queue. However, so worth it. Once again the meal was faultless. Loved the onion rings and the jumbo haddock was cooked perfectly as were the chips. Can’t rate this chipper highly enough, cheers x

Worst mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Just empty burnt batter with no cheese in any of the 6 sticks. This is also the first mozzarella sticks I've ever ordered that didn't come with a dip. Chips were standard and chilcken fillets were small enough to be a kids meal a McDonalds.

What can I say.....for a chippy that goes the extra mile.....The Boddam Chip Shop does just that. My wife can't eat food cooked in dripping so the chippy did here Scampi Supper in a wee vegetable oil frier with no questions asked. Maxine was extra special and all the girls working hard as a team. I had a large fish (haddock) supper and it was braw. Piping hot....great chips and fish was fresh and well cooked. Great value and if I'm up here again I'm hot footing it to the Boddam Chip Shop. Also my wife loved the scampi (wholetail) supper. 👏👏👏

Would buy again just not order the veg sticks as the carrots were really dry and didn’t have a proper crunch to them and the cucumber wasn’t fresh, wasn’t crunchy either, it’s as though they’ve been cut and left in the fridge for a while. Didn’t have this problem last time I ordered.

I had a mince pie supper and mum had a steak pie supper. It was delicious 😋 even Brucecat enjoyed it.

Unfortunately they chose accept the order in the first place in ample time, food didn’t arrive so contacted them, order then got cancelled with no explanation (after they claimed to contact me, which they did not do). Disappointed and confused at lack of professionalism & organisation

Went for the medium fish and chip supper . The staff were super chirpy and polite . Fish was cooked to order . Good sized portions .My only gripe and it's a small one and it is really only a small one , is that the fish was a bit greasy , not swimming in it but enough to mention . I still give it a solid 5 stars for the excellent service . Whisked them away and ate them down by the very picturesque harbour which only enhanced the flavour.

Mains were all brilliant, however some of the chips were a bit too crispy. Order was delayed but delivered exactly on the later time

We regularly use go here when we fancy a chippy tea and the quality is always great. Food is always fresh, well cooked and portion sizes are great. The prices are really reasonable as well. The menu has the usual items you would expect but is expanding with a few unexpected new items to try. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience.

I got Gluten Free Fish & chips here after phoning a few local chippies who didn’t do gf. I can recommend good service too. Forgot to take photo until I had eaten most of it😂 as was rather hungry. Parking outside so easy to get to.

I would have to drive 3 hours to be able to get this chippy again but let me tell you, it would be worth it. The north must be where the good chippys are because I haven't managed to find one even remotely as good, further down. Portions are generous and the price is reasonable. The variety of menu is astounding, southern fried chicken lovely same with salt and pepper chicken. Battered sausage is usually a game of roulette for me, I love it but the sausage can be not so nice but it was a win tonight. The batter is crisp with a little chew in the best way and nothing is swimming in grease. The chips are the same, dry dry dry, why don't you live closer to me. The fish is, according to the recipient beautiful (fish isn't my thing). I will dream about this chippy. No photos I'm afraid, I couldnt wait to munch.

Great staff and very good chip shop food. It was my first visit on Saturday. It won't be by last.

Kids meals were good and they didnt have much crunchy chips but was rather disappointed with the chicken wrap, which was 3 small fillets and the wrap, no salad or sauce just plain.

10 minutes away from 2 hours and still not here

As usual the Boddam Chippy never lets us down. Food delicious, freshly cooked & piping hot, huge portions & always ready at the allocated time. The staff are all lovely too. 😃😃

Food is slightly above average, but poor service let's this chip shop down. Orders are never ready on time and twice now locals have jumped the queue. There's been 3 or 4 people waiting to announce their arrival to pick up their order and locals have walked past them, asked for their order, been served and not given any direction to wait in the queue like everyone else. This is such a frustrating experience. I'll warn you now before the same happens to you, it will add about 10 minutes to your wait. I don't know if we'll be back and we live locally too, but we have manners.

Covid aware and polite. Large portions and tasty haddock.
