The fish was fresh and in the most wonderful crispy batter. The chips were just how I like them, crispy on the outside succulent in the middle. Been craving a return visit ever since.

I haven't been to every chipper in Fraserburgh. I only went to Glovers so I can only comment on Glovers. It was fantastic. Great fish, great service. Good portion size too. Highly recommend.

Always get quality fish and chips from this placed, been using imthem off and in since moving to Fraserburgh and have never had a bad supper yet. Prices are a little on the steep side but that is just the world we live in now. Be prepared to wait for your order as it is always busy. The curry sauce is to die for.

Food is very tasty, better than most chippers, maybe a little more expensive than a regular chippy, good presentation and clean! front of house let it down, very rude to customers. (Sly looks/sarcastic comments)

Had southern fried chicken and chips last night. Very tasty and a good size. Not at all greasy and comes in a cardboard box so no washing up and good for recycling. Will definitely be going here again.

Purchased two fish suppers tonight and wish I hadn’t bothered. Very greasy soggy batter, most of it went in the bin. Phoned and spoke to the owner and he said oh the batter may of been too thick. Surely with all the years they have been trading they would ensure that the batter is correct. As I said to him, I wont be back. It’s a expensive treat for supper that wasn’t worth it.

This chippy makes their own steak pies,absolutely outstanding, the meat was a top quality cut ,shredded with no fat .and a superb gravy ,chips fluffy and crispie, defo a gold award for thier pies..,,,,,fae geoff the chef

I came here the other night for fish & chips. It was the biggest and tastiest portion that I have found from any of the chippers in the Broch. The battered haddock was delicious. The prices are very reasonable too. And the service could not be faulted. I will definitely be back again soon.

Such wonderful Fish Supper that we went twice whilst on our holidays. Rang up to order, as for 8 people, ready and piping hot when we got there.

We have been twice to Glover and Co in Fraserburgh in the past 2 months and both times it was closed when google maps says that it's open. We have traveled from Crimond

I loved the takeaway I ordered from this establishment. The chips were fantastic and my chicken fillets were the best I have ever tasted. My mother and husband chose the fish supper and were absolutely delighted.

Great little chippy. Only downfall is a few times when placing a order over the phone its been wrong. Apart from that any other time iv been in the food is great and friendly staff as well.

Despite an initially amusing language barrier (I couldn’t understand why the friendly server was asking if I wanted my fish “buttered” ) the quality of the fish was excellent - as we hoped for being in such a big fishing port.A shame they didn’t do peas and it was a bit pricey (£6.95 for fish and chips) but very good nonetheless.

Popped in here for a fish supper for my mum. Lovely friendly young lady who advised me my fish would take about 5 mins. Mum said it was best fish she’d eaten in a long time.

I went with a very large order and the staff were not at all overwhelmed. We only had to wait about five minutes and the whole order was ready with all the salt and vinegar and sauce on. It was fresh and hot and delicious. The chip shop is very clean and the staff helpful and very efficient. Will definately be back.

having given Glover & Co 5stars previously I would like to ask them what they have done to their chips. I think perhaps dry fried which are nothing like their previous chips. I have heard of more people not enjoying the chips now and have chosen to go elsewhere. Fish is still absolutely superb so I will continue for that but will not be having chips------how sad. Could you please go back to frying chips again. I recognise benefit of this type of cooking but please allow us to look after our own health and provide my fortnightly treat.

The most tasty Fish & Chips ive had for a long time. Cooked to perfection, no grease or oil, lovely and crispy with soft middle for the chips, and a lovely lightly battered fish. Highly recommend trying this place if your in this Area.

Fish and chips from Glover is a treat and would recommend. I always get the chips separate as they don't drain the chips like the old days and then the fish gets soggy before you get a supper home so its better separate. Would recommend as its a treat

I ordered a cheese burger and chips and was disappointed with the chips being hard and cheeseburger was a bit chewy. the place was nice and clean and staff were friendly.

Lovely fish supper really huge fish for the price. Easily the nicer mince pie I've had in a good while puff pasty on top looked like a bakery pie. I'll be going again next time. Staff friendly and helpful, fast service

One of the most delectable breaded haddock I've ever had! Another plus is that it's fried in vegetable oil. Home-made tartar sauce is not to be missed.

30 minites for a mock chop supper and a load of attitude fron staff when I complaned. Very bad experience. Sorry for the owner. Trying to do his best but stuck with his staff.

Really great we had Breaded Fish it was absolutely brilliant. The shop is clean staff neat and tidy. Would recommend to anyone. One down side it was closed on sunday, do not know if this is still the case.

We had haddock in batter and steak pie supper. The fish was really fresh in a crispy batter cooked perfectly, the steak pie was served in a foil tray so not deep fried and was really tasty with a perfect amount of gravy - the chips were really good too. We also had a tin of Diet Coke which was nice and cold.

Our favourite fish n chip shop in fraserburgh, always freshly cooked so you have to wait, but it’s worth waiting for and their milkshakes are lovely

Absolutely love this place, I have never tasted batter so crispy, the chips are gorgeous, dry and cooked perfectly, always seems to be consistent, it has been the same every time, hardly any grease, love it!

Had a Haddock fish supper - the batter was crisp - just the way I like it - and the fish fresh with firm texture; the chip wedges were the right shape and size and cooked just right. I couldn't smell any unpleasant old oil smell so they were obviously fried in a fresh batch of oil. The fish was quite large and considering the price (just over GBP 6.80 or so, can't remember the exact price), it was one of the best take away meals I have had in a long time. Being served by an attractive young local lady was a plus too :)

Food fresh hot and tasty have been to this takeaway quite a few times will visit again would recommend to friends and family only thing i would point out is the cost a bit expensive for a takeaway

Llamamos aquí una harina de pescado y patatas fritas antes de regresar a Inverness y nos alegramos mucho de haberlo hecho. El Abadejo era absolutamente deliciosa y tan fresco con agradable pasta ligera crujientes y las patatas fritas eran buenos! Gracias Glover y Co.

Four of us had fish and chips and one scampi and we all thought they were great. The fish batter was so crispy and light and the chips were excellent - the scampi was also very good. Great chip shop.
