A really cool, local pub with friendly staff, excellent beer and wine, a pool table, great food Friday to Sunday and a phone box (?).

Came for a quick drink. A bit far from the centre. Really nice pub. Very nice interior. Service was good. Nice choice of drinks, local drinks as well. Reasonable prices. Very busy when we went. Pool table at the rear of the place.

This is the longest wait for bar service anywhere that I have ever visited.

Sunday Lunch in a group on a large table - 2.5 hour sitting (from 1 pm) with first rate roast fare, and fresh veggies. Friendly atmosphere in pub; sports TV on, with volume set to low/medium.

Loved this pub, no pretence, just a warm welcoming traditional pub with a great atmosphere and excellent food. We had roast dinners and it was spot on, best I've had in years. Highly recommend and can't wait to visit again.

Booked for Christmas Dinner menu. All twelve of us ate and between mouthfuls, all everyone saying was "wow".. empty plates all around.. Everyone was so happy. Really good food and a warm place to be. Booked for next year..

Eaten here many times, tried everything on the menu and specials too, absolutely fantastic! Great selection of ales and decent whiskeys. Always a warm welcome from the big Ginger nut that runs the place, Craig or Colin I believe his name is. I would highly recommend the Vicky day or night.

Welcoming, traditional high-ceiling English pub space. Incredible food, decent beers, ales and hospitality courtesy of Safa and Chris behind the bar. Highly recommended. Nicely tucked away, too, just off the main drag.

This has a feeling of a real old-style London pub and we had a fantastic Sunday lunch here, 2 roast pork, 2 roast beef, all delicious with friendly and helpful service

What a transformation !! The Victoria is spotlessly clean. The brass on the cask ale pumps is once more shining. The welcoming landlords who go out of their way to give all customers an excellent experience. The food on offer is superb and great value. What a great atmosphere for the Six Nations 🏉. We wiil now be walking regularly along the seafront to visit the Victoria. We wish them continued success. Michael & Fay

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch- beef pie and vegetarian tart. Super tasty, piping hot, freshly cooked veg and best ever roast potatoes. All made better by the perfect Harveys Best.
