The Venue in Falkirk

First of all if it had not been from message from manager everything been fab ! However very poor customer service from him / her that he/she got staff to pass on . The staff themselves are lovely - have been in a few times and always very impressed but overall impression of here now changed. I was not after full meal and just wanted loaded macoroni chips . This was not on the menu anymore but I asked to have ( did not know this )and my order was taken as the bar staff very accommodating . However on returning to table I noticed been charged for full mac cheese meal . Think difference least 5 pounds and knew would not manage so returned to bat .Again staff lovely but were unable work out how to refund but said if okay would get in touch manager and took my number which I was fine to wait with as knew happened as maybe caused confusion ordering what no longer there . They even asked could I choose desert instead to make up but as I said was not needing much . Anyway thought would get call next day - food served and was a huge portion ( but I did only want smaller plate ) and when started eating told manager had said not be getting any refund the difference as what ordered not on menu.so not willing to do Just felt this was all very disappointing and seen by time finishing nobody else there at about 6pm not best way to draw people back and with such lovely staff and food I would suggest poor customer service from management will certainly not increase foot fall!!

Went there for a birthday party and I can honestly say that it was the worst stocked bar i have ever experienced. I am just happy that the buffet was provided by another company as I had been informed that the restaurant food was pretty bad. It didn’t help that some of the staff did not have a good grasp of English as they were all foreign and you either had to repeat yourself several times or on several occasions you got the wrong order. I do not know what this place is a venue for. I will certainly not go back

I just wanted to write how much I loved my 30th party here at The Venue in December 😁 The minute I walked in I loved the space it was beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly, we visited a few times before the party for lunch and food was always great and again staff super friendly on every occasion. Steve the owner was fab always on hand if i had any questions about the party and went out his way to help and provide an excellent service. The night was amazing! Buffet fab, the two members of staff on the bar worked so hard to keep everyone served The venue really made my 30th experience one to remember! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to hold a special occasion party 🎉

Had dinner here with my partner, sister and niece and it was absolutely fantastic. The menu has plenty of options and the food is very fresh and full of flavour. The portions are incredibly generous and the prices very reasonable. The staff are lovely and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Had a meal and few cocktails on Saturday amazing!!!!! will decently be back again. The staff were extremely friendly and the manager made us feel most welcome and explained the story of the Business.
