The Vegan Coffi House in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Great to have a vegan menu with so much choice. Food very well cooked. Lots of comfy chairs to sit and enjoy your food . Well worth a visit

Beautiful coffee shop with the warmest welcome. I had a delicious tea cake and cappuccino and my dog was treated like a Queen with sausages from her own Doggie Menu. We can’t wait to come back, thank you Jeraldine & team x

We visited twice during our week in Aberdare, once just for coffee and the second time for lunch. The atmosphere is great and the staff are excellent. The food only scored a four as, on the first visit, we forgot it was a Vegan business, so my coffee tasted a little strange. It was only when we were leaving that I asked and they said they used "oat milk," although I could have had coconut or almond milk. On the second visit the Advocado was excellent however the soup was a little "watery" for our taste. Would certainly visit again

Food was ok and had a good choice, the place is cosy too! However, I found the prices a bit much and was hoping for an agreeable cost. 2 panninis, with a bit of salad, say 2 mouthfuls and 2 coffees were £27:50!! Travelled quite far so we were commited. A bit of bread and butter pudding was £6.

Thought I’d take my friend for a catch up yesterday . In Aberdare not many places cater for my long standing gluten free diet so we decided to have lunch in the vegan coffi house. The decour is warm and welcoming with a varied menu . We ordered soup - we had to have two different soups as the same wasn’t available. It was £9 which I thought was a little steep for a bowl of soup and bread . Anyway we waited a while for our coffee and we thought our lunch would follow. We waited 45 minutes- my soup was served . Another 10 minutes passed before my friend was served . We were offered complimentary tea but we had lost our enthusiasm by this time. We were given a Welsh cake each for our wait . I felt the ladies on the next table that bought in their dog had more attention given to them . The dog was offered food and a blanket . We had just spent £26 and spent nearly an hour waiting which to my mind was rather unacceptable. I’m all for a relaxed lunch but this was ridiculous

Visited here for the first time with my friend. The cafe is truly unique, decorated beautifully with comfortable seating. We sat in the “outside area” the area was lovely and light and has a roof. I had coffee and Tiger Bread toast with jam. My friend had coffee, a tea cake and jam. Our food and drinks were served hot and tasted great. I will definitely be back at another time. Just to add I’m very much a carnivore but appreciate something other than I’m used to.

Sad to say but this was a mixed bag. 45 + minute wait for the food. Food brought 25 mins after the coffee and initially taken to the wrong table. A toasting shouldn't be taking that long. The kitchen should do food prep before opening to save time. The customer service was phenomenal. So friendly and kind. And I love the idea and ethos behind the cafe. Oatmilk latte and hotchoc were excellent. The back room is cold. Quirky decorations. Cost £20

Treated my friend to afternoon tea on wednesday. Our usual seat was reserved and set for us. Upon arrival we were served snacks and a sparkling iced juice. Lovely touch. Followed by a beautifully presented three tiered plate of delicious goodies. Each more wonderful than the last . The whole experience was lovely. The staff are amazing, cant do enough for you... the setting is so comfy theres never a rushed feeling. The decor is amazing, the vegan coffi shop is even dog friendly and opening soon next door a pet grooming parlour . We are regular customers, we simply lovebit there. Quality second to none. Oh and they do vouchers , make a fab christmas gift

Absolutely delightful and unique cafe. Went for afternoon tea with friends and spent a really enjoyable afternoon - like sitting in someone’s ‘parlour’ being waited on! Lovely selection, generous amounts and friendly service. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Quaint, cosy little cafe, feels like you're walking into somebody's living room, which I loved! Had two cakes and they were divine. Dog friendly which is always a bonus, I'll bring him next time :)

drove all the way over from Neath to have a bite for lunch. Very cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff and such a relief to go somewhere they understand being a vegan and dont' go 'what is vegan' or " i'll just go and check' We had the hoisin duck wrap which was really tasty and well filled. It' s a bit of a way for us but we'll definitley come back to try some other dishes

The first impressions of the place were excellent. I always get good vibes when I see a 'dogs welcome' sign at the front of a shop. On entering immediately, you feel welcomed with such a homely feel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the variety of cakes was exciting. Such a gem on my doorstep... I've been waiting for a long time for a vegan cafe to come to town

Second visit here, this time with my family. Huge wraps full of delicious fresh salad and my son had popcorn chicken and smilies. Previously I had an iced latte which was lovely. Got some cakes to takeaway. What a treasure for Aberdare

Just wow. I nipped in for coffee and cake but ended up having a full lunch and then takeaway cakes because it was all too good to miss. Fresh, colourful, yummy flavours and large portions. The staff are warm, friendly, chatty but not in your face. There’s a great vibe, i feel this is likely to become a regular hang out for me! It’s dog friendly and they provide a menu of options for the pups too! Loved it. 🥰
