The Valiant is a cracking local pub that really delivers on atmosphere and hospitality. The selection of real ales is solid, with two quality options always available, alongside a variety of lagers and ciders to suit any taste. The bar staff are fantastic, especially the landlady, who keeps things lively and entertaining. One of the highlights has to be the free BBQs they host on certain days throughout the year, generously funded by the regulars – a great touch that brings the community together. The jukebox is brilliant too, offering a great selection of tunes that keeps the vibe just right. However, the outside of the pub could do with a bit of TLC. It looks like they’ve recently had a new roof put on, which is great, but the exterior could use a fresh coat of paint to match the quality inside. That said, it’s a minor issue and doesn’t detract from what is otherwise a top-notch local. Overall, The Valiant is a gem of a pub that’s well worth a visit, especially if you appreciate a good ale and a friendly atmosphere.

Great bar and staff. Came in for a wake after a cousins funeral and the Valiant had provided free food which was a lovely thought. Remember the pub many years ago as the Queens Head.

Had a really great bank holiday Monday here. Staff are friendly and beer is good. If you are here for more than a pint the locals really interact and are so interesting, many fantastic characters. Highly recommended 👍

A busy Saturday night out in Leek. The Valiant proved to be a very busy traditional type of pub offering wet sales only. With juke box playing a wide mix of music. Happy go lucky clientele spent time dancing, singing and having a good time. There were 2 real ales on offer, plus a good selection of lagers, ciders ,both bottled and draught. The cheerful and hardworking bar staff coped very well with an ever changing flock of customers. We had a very good night there.

Marstons pub, beer kept well. juke box and darts with outside area at back. Can get a little rowdy on a Friday, saturday lol staff have always polite.
