Always an amazing time to be had here, lovely food and friendliest staff, we went to celebrate my step sons birthday last week and they did not disappoint. Will be back soon and definitely recommend the tiramisu.

Absolutely love Primo Piano, the food is exceptionally good, staff are really friendly and it reasonably priced. You can't ask for more than that. Also the manager/owner is a really lovely lady! Thanks - we'll be back soon!

What a beautiful little gem this place is! Having walked past it quite a few times on the way into town, me and my girlfriend decided to book a table here for our anniversary a few months ago. You need to book a bit in advance because it's quite a small place and very popular, but it was well worth the wait. We had some breads with different dips to start, and then pizzas which were really full of flavour. You could tell that the ingredients were fresh, and the combination of toppings were well thought out. We shared a strawberry cheesecake for desert which was also delicious. The service was friendly and everything came out to us quickly. The atmosphere was really warm, and the even though it was busy, it wasn't noisy at all. Definitely reccomend a visit if you are in Leek. We will certainly be back again.

My wife had the salmon with tiger prawns and I had the vegetarian lasagna... both were absolutely delicious; the lasagne was the best I'd ever had. Staff were extremely friendly and it was great value. Definitely recommend if you're in Leek.

Dined at Primo for the first time, a friend was 60 and had been many times sø we had a little gathering. Gluten free food was excellent, no Red Rioja but the white was very pleasant, all in all a very enjoyable evening.

We have eaten numerous times at primo piano mostly in the evening but a handful of times we have eaten lunch,I can honestly say we have not had a bad experience yet which usually could be the case occasionally if you visit somewhere frequently,the food is always cooked to perfection and beautifully served and of a really good quality,You usually need to book well in advance for a table in the evening but it's well worth it,I look forward to our next visit

The staff were absolutely lovely. They were very patient. Great menu offered great choices with the wine and also great menu suggestions the food was top-notch. Even allowed me to swap pasta.

Small Italian restaurant. You need to book before going. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and very quick. You can also look into the kitchen, which I always find cool! Totally recommend

Fantastic meal , great atmosphere

Not bad, but expected a better atmosphere for the money. Very noisy table next to us with kids watching tik tok on full blast. Food was good and came quickly.

A fantastic little place for meeting up with friends. The food was outstanding and not shy on portion size. Definite value for money. Couldn't quite manage desert but they had a great selection and will definitely be going back for more. Must go.

What a gem, small Italian restaurant (upstairs) that serves top quality food at sensible prices. I had olives with breads and dips, then the Filleto al Pepe 8oz - fillet steak with mushrooms, brandy cream & peppercorn sauce. I wanted to lick the plate clean it was that good.

Consistently good food at reasonable prices. If I was going to be picky - the room itself was a little chilly when we arrived. It did warm up a little later on.

My wife and I had a pleasant dining experience here. The starters, mains and wine were amazing. The desserts were the negative factor. Overall, the atmosphere and staff were great therefore I would recommend this restaurant!

Great food, great atmosphere would recommend

Despite being busy with some larger parties we were made very welcome, service was fabulous with the staff being totally aware of what was going on around them at all time, without you feeling watched. Service was excellent, food was really fresh and tasty and value for money is excellent.

The atmosphere and service was amazing. The beef calzone was probably one of the best things I've ever eaten and they had proper portion sizes as well.

Lovely little Gem in Leek highly recomend it .

I have been staying on leek on and off the last few weeks. I would love to review this testaurants food, however i have been twice now, once a few weeks ago at 9pm and this evening at 8 45 pm. Both times I have been told that the kitchen is closed even though the opening hours say 10pm!! It's ridiculous. Closing the kitchen at 8.45. Come on you lot get it sorted and advertise your correct opening hours.

Been waiting to try primo for a long time and finally got the chance (even though I’m local). The great reviews that this place has are fully justified, the staff are very attentive and accommodating, the atmosphere and character of the place are really good and the menu is just right. As for the food, we had 6 people at the table who all had a different meal, all plates were emptied. The service time was really good and the food was amazing. Really delicious food, the ‘special scotch egg’ starter is a MUST!!! And my pappardelle bolognaise was delicious! Will definitely be trying to make Primo a more regular occurrence!

Wow! We booked last minute tonight and they were very accommodating and had a table ready for us even though they were clearly busy! Even with being busy the service and food was not compromised at all! The food was incredible! One of the best italians we have been to! The ladies serving were friendly and attentive and although the dining area is small we didn't feel overcrowded at all. Will definitely be back!!

Brilliant atmosphere, looved the interior! Right in the town centre with free parking. Lovely service all the staff were very helpful. The starters are amazing but the main lacked flavour in the pasta sauce (veg tagiatele). Would highly recommend the mushroom starters though! Overall a good experience would try again.

Visited here last night with a friend. First returning visit in quite some time. The food was delicious; we both had Spaghetti Carbonara. It was busy for a Thursday evening but didn't have to wait too long for food. Friendly staff with great service.

Our first time, under the new ownership, the food was excellent, very tasty, and especially hot. Very polite and friendly service.

Sorry feel bad giving this review in light that all the reviews are good but I wanted to be honest. Belly pork starter gorgeous well worth the price my friend had the mushrooms starter very bland no taste was her words. Main was chicken in a white wine sauce for my friend which was tasteless. i had the tornados rossini which was nowhere near the dish I know there was a thick piece of crusty bread on the bottom and the sauce was tasteless not good food at all.

They cannot do enough for you in Primo. I have been twice within 4 days. Each visit equally enjoyable. The food is fab & the waiting on girls attentive. I hope I can go again in the not too distant future.

Superb venue for food. A warm and friendly welcome awaits visitors, either first timers or those returning time and time again. The restaurant is located on the first floor, however, there is no lift. Most difficult part of any visit is deciding which dishes to choose. Well worth a try.

Despite the global pandemic we booked this little gem for dinner. On arrival we were greeted politely and asked to sanitise our hands. When our table was ready we were led upstairs to the restaurant. Lovely table overlooking the street. Good social distancing was in evidence and the staff were all wearing face coverings. Quickly took our food and drink orders. The food was fantastic and varied from traditional Italian Pizza, pasta and steaks. The staff were very attentive throughout. I would highly recommend this little Italian gem to anyone in the area.

The prawns and salmon were beautiful. Covid secure, very clean, courteous staff, . Wine lovely, steak beautiful only very slight critism for person taste was the bacon was too fatty and very salty. Mushroom starter amazing. Finished off the evening with a Malfy grapefruit gin.

Just had a fabulous birthday meal with my Sister at my favourite Italian restaurant. The sea food linguine was out of this world. Staff are fantastic nothing too much trouble. All staff wear masks all over safe. Can't wait to go back again.

Just had primo takeaway for tea tonight to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary, highly recommend lovely big portions and tasted as good as in the restaurant.

Probably the best restaurant in Leek. Make sure to check the Specials Board. They are really excellent.
