Came with my friend and we were warmly greeted by Sam. She was very sweet and seated us in the booth. She helped us through the options and told us how we can order at the till. The staff brang our desserts to the table which was amazing. Sam made sure to check on us and make sure everything was good. They were out of gelato which was upsetting but the soft serve was still delicious.

I'm a regular customer but on this occasion was served a burnt cookie dough. One side was burnt but the whole cookie dough had a burnt taste. The staff acknowledged that I was a regular customer and said he can't replace it because only one side is burnt. It's an absolute joke that they're willing to lose a regular customer instead of replacing one cookie dough. They refused to do anything and we just left it there and left the place. Would steer away from this place, honestly an absolute joke of customer service and customer retention strategy.

San Sebastián cheesecake was not a San Sebastián cake. San Sebastián is a burnt cheesecake. In fact what we were served wasn’t even baked. It was just a cheesecake covered in pistachio cream. Very disappointing as even the description reads “ baked cheesecake is smothered in our homemade pistachio sauce”.

The people are really kind. Food is great and innovative. Really loved it and the way they present their food!

However, upon perusing the menu, I noticed that no server attended to our table to take our order. I took the initiative to approach the desk and place my order, clarifying our table number. Unfortunately, the ordering process was not clearly explained, leaving me somewhat perplexed. Nevertheless, our food arrived promptly within 15 minutes, and I was impressed with the impeccable presentation, appropriate temperature, and appealing plating. The cutlery, neatly rolled with paper napkins, was thoughtfully provided on the side. Overall, the culinary experience was enjoyable. As a hotelier myself, I would suggest that the staff focus on enhancing their communication skills, warmth, and hospitality. A more welcoming approach and proactive attentiveness would significantly elevate the overall experience. As we departed, a staff member solicitously requested our review, and I hope my feedback will be constructive in improving their service standards. With refined staff interaction, Urban Chocolatier has the potential to excel and provide an exceptional experience for discerning patrons.
