We have called in on s few occasions for drinks while out walking and received a warm welcome from staff and regular customers. Cosy little garden at the back of the pub to enjoy the afternoon sunshine was very pleasant . Good selection of drinks and hubby enjoyed his traditional pork pie with his pint of Timothy Taylor ale

Nice to see Tristan behind the bar. Beer's in finefettle. Welcoming atmosphere. Quaint.

Live music with some good beers on tap

Always a great welcome here, and their live bands and gigs have'nt disappointed. Atmosphere awesome. Not sure if they do food here, so can't comment. Will be visiting again.

Played a gig here with my band blind tiger, the staff were very humble, welcoming and kind. We had a fantastic night. They made us feel right at home.

Good honest pub but no evening food

Located in the centre of Aylsham with limited car parking, it has great outside space but quite dated inside. Staff were friendly. Didn't try the food but menu was standard pub offering.

By far my favourite pub in Aylsham, The Unicorn has that traditional feel to it with exposed timbers a fire place and carpets! You know it's a proper pub when it has carpets! Great selection of beer, ales, wines and spirits on offer so you'll definitely find your tipple. They have both Sky Sports and BT Sports so whoever you support you're bound to find them on their screens at some point and there is always a great atmosphere for the sports. They've got pool, darts and an ITBOX so there's plenty of fun games on offer, really friendly staff and the locals are always very friendly and up for a chat. Definitely worth a visit.

Deceptively large pub/restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a homely feel. Reasonable food prices although we only had a few drinks.

Lovely local pub serving a decent range of beverages including local ales. Seating both inside and out, along with a pool table, dart board, and multiple TVs which show sky sports. They also have live music events showcasing small bands. Fairly reasonable prices, however there is a minimum spend of £10 on card, so cash is required for small purchases.

Reasonably priced and they sell Woodfordes! Plenty of seating inside as well as outdoor seating at the front and rear of the pub. They do accept card payments but there is a minimum card spend of £10. Live football shown on sky sports.

Normal pub plays live music terrible wine but nice garden small. Dogs welcome but smoking outside the front uurghh!

Didn't realise it was so late, staff were great though and happy to cook for four of us even though it was a few mins til close. Excellent meal

Food served lunchtimes only. The beer is good and there are some good amateur rock bands on a Friday night. Sometimes we get Metal. Give the place a look on Friday night or any time.

Popped in for a drink for the first & last time rude barmaid didn't smile say hello or anything or even acknowledge me whilst stood waiting at the bar even tho it was quiet & the pub smelt like damp dog even tho there wasn't any dogs in there.

Pint Woodford Werry and a coffee, good value. Comfortable ans showing Sky Sports.

Very family friendly and a cracking pint of Ghostship. Live music at weekends, cash only but ATMs very close by. Barmaid a babe.

Popped into the pub for a drink with a very good friend. We were pleasantly suprised to see they had live music on. Forged were the live band and they were excellent. But they had to call off their gig halfway through because the venue refused to pay them. The management need to take a serious look at themselves. Go and see Forged at another venue and you won't be disappointed.
