The Twenty Two in City of London, Westminster

The food is delicious and the place is very stylish. There is only one problem, the middle-aged manager-looking man who brought our cake to our table was very rude and disrespectful. I will not deduct points for this.

This is the restaurant we chose for my wife's 30th birthday. We had a pleasant evening with a beautiful and stylish dining room, a stylish atmosphere and friendly staff. During the reservation, we stated that we were coming for a birthday and they made this nice gesture. Beef welington was quite successful!! I think he should definitely beat it. The only downside was that it was a little stuffy and hot inside.

Had a fabulous lunch in this restaurant. Lovely staff, fantastic meal. Executive chef came out as we had fed back the cod dish was excellent - it had just been put on the menu. Very tricky to perfectly cook that firm a fish without the skin, leaving it beautifully translucent. Perfect. Scallop starter, gorgeous flavours. For dessert, who knew something as simple as affogato pairs so well with an XO brandy. Great experience, great venue. Very special place.

We were passing through and Kaiser was very kind showing us the facilities. He is a very nice and close man.

Every detail is thought out. The service is impeccable and the sheets are the best I’ve sleep on in a while.

A stunning building with attention to detail on every level. The restaurant staff were friendly and good fun creating a upbeat vibe. (Super impressed) The food was exquisite. Highly recommended

We had the 22 special starter and the tuna. The pasta dishes were cacio Pepe and the beef with truffle pasta. Loved the flavours of the beef, the cacio pepe felt a bit bland.

I love staying there , amazing butique hotel with a fantastic service. And they accept my dog ! I couldn’t be happier.

Would give this place 10/5 if I could. Exceptional if you're looking for something more low-key than the big hotels, but with the same, if not better, amazing service. Loved it! Thank you, Twentytwo.

"After dropping off a client at the hotel, I finished my work and needed to use the restroom. I entered the hotel to use the facilities, but one of the staff members was quite rude. When I mentioned that I just needed to use the restroom, I was told that only guests were allowed to use it. Despite explaining that I was the driver who had brought a guest to the hotel and was in urgent need, the staff member showed no understanding or empathy. This experience was truly disappointing and made me question the hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction. Additionally, it reinforced the notion of class distinction, making me feel that we, the service providers, are not allowed to use the same facilities as the guests we serve. 22 Hotel needs to improve its service quality by better training its staff and placing more emphasis on hospitality."

A hidden gem with luxury dinner

The Twenty Two in Mayfair is a hidden gem that offers a unique and luxurious dining experience. The grilled langoustines and Dover sole meunière were standout dishes, and the extensive wine list complemented the meal perfectly. Great place to visit and eat. The quality of the food and service is second to none. Wine is a bit expensive to my taste, but you are in Mayfair so understandable. I had the octopus....excellent

We arrived a little early and taken to our table. Can honestly say the food was exceptional. Sunday roast was divine, hubby had risotto and loved it. All our starters prawns, carpaccio were delicious. Have been here before and definitely will return.

As a frequent patron of this club and restaurant, the ground floor / main floor restaurant was extremely incompetent and rude staff ranging from rude hostesses, nonexistent waiter, and snotty "so called managers" who did nothing to improve their service. The food was good but there are no staff that wait on tables and then they remind you constantly throughout the meal that you have less than 2 hours to eat your meal even when there is no waiters around to pour wine and bus plates.

The roast dinner at Twenty Two was delightful, succulent meat cooked to perfection, accompanied by golden, crispy roast potatoes and an array of beautifully cooked seasonal vegetables. The flavors harmonize flawlessly, creating a comforting and satisfying meal that feels like a warm hug on a plate. The rich, flavorsome gravy ties everything together, adding that extra touch of deliciousness.

The Twenty Two is a beautiful luxury hotel, the staff are very attentive and friendly and you feel comfortable the moment you walk into the reception. However I dropped a star for a few reasons. 1. The private members club attached had DJ entertainment on the first night I stayed so it was like trying to fall asleep over a nightclub, so I hardly slept that night (it was quiet the second night and rather lovely) 2. The shower/bath looked beautiful but was really hard to get in and out of, definitely designed for aesthetics not function (see photo) 3. Slight lack of attention to luxury details (ok this one may seem petty but it is a luxury hotel in Mayfair) there was no nighttime bedside carafe of water on the second night, which was disappointing. I realise this was only tapwater, but still…

We went here last Saturday for a birthday, and honestly not much to say. The food was good especially the crab paccheri as well as the cauliflower starter, the staff were great and the venue is gorgeous. The drinks were also amazing! Here are just some minor feedback points : - When bringing the new drink, take away the empty glasses - Don’t remove plates without asking e.g. for example waitress removed plate that still had plenty of sauce for my croquettes that I wanted to dip in but she was so quick and removed it that I didn’t have the chance to say anything (it’s a minor thing, but it does add to the entire experience)

Great decor, food and service with a rock star location make this a new go to restaurant for us. I had the best Beef Wellington I have ever eaten - need I say more! Highly recommended!

I have been a number of times since it’s opening and the atmosphere and food is exceptional. The staff is wonderful and bar exceptional. They have created a rarefied and special atmosphere.
