Not a bad Spoonz, only let down by a lack of glasses for the drinks served to the table

Great little spot, great for a bit of people watching and just chilling out with a beer, they seem to have a lot going on during the month to keep people interested.

I arrived around 9am to do a small amount of work whilst I waited for a meeting appointment and to have some breakfast. This is not the first time I have eaten here and was ok before, but today was dreadful. I ordered eggs benedict. Eggs were solid, hard boiled, muffin not toasted so hollandaise sauce soaked into bread. All cold, looked like a complete thow together. It was not busy at all, so no excuse for this. Sorry, but if the cook can't even do a basic poached egg, they have no right being in the kitchen. As for service, the two waitresses in the upstairs section sat and had their breakfast (which is fine!) but my plate with remaining left over food sat on my table with not so much as a 'check to see if all ok' and it was still there when I left 2 hours later. They were very apathetic and just couldn't be bothered. It's a shame, the location is great, the appearance of the pub is good, but the food and staff let it down.

Great freindly place staff excellent

The double burger patties were over cooked, no juices present when biting into the burger. And a very small portion of chips. The Pepsi was flat however the staff changed our drinks for fresh bubbly soda.

Nice food staff was very nice and polite

So disappointed travelled a long way from London. Staying in Bradford got refusal because I did not have the right dress code clothes, checked the Web, and said nothing. I think u should put the dress code up on the website

Good atmosphere. It was curry night but at 7.20pm they had run out of rice. On Steak night they had run out of steak. What on earth is happening to Wetherspoons. We are ardent Wetherspoons customers but even at Wetherspoons in Morley we had breakfast and had to send it back because it was cold together with 6 other customers. I await your comments. Nice crowd. Good food at the center of the city.

Ordered a pizza for over £8 and got a frozen pizza with all the toppings and cheese shoved on one-side. Clearly the box wasn't kept flat and the kitchen didn't care. Just send out any old rubbish. The actual pizza base was rock hard and even the steak knife had trouble cutting it. After managing to cut a slice and eating a bite, it was clear the pizza was awful. I complained to the lad who brought it to me. He told me to go to the bar and speak with the Manager. Despite the photo, he asked "what's wrong with the pizza?" And I picked up the disk of pizza with a small slick taken out and banged it on the plate and said "it's rock hard, the toppings are all to one side where it's been kept in the freezer and it's not worth £2, let alone the £8.55 paid!" The Manager never apologised but just refunded me the money. He wouldn't even guarantee I would get a decent pizza if I ordered again!!! Wetherspoons used to offer decent food at reasonable prices. However, they've now turned into McDonald's - offering diabolical food at extortionate prices!!!! I would NEVER go there again!!!

A spoons never been in. Mind you I left Bradford in 1987, so it didn't exist.

Good atmosphere, large place and very well located. Kind attention. We saw the European Cup match and a very good atmosphere. The potatoes with cheese, delicious

Breakfast - not good. Porridge OK, a little sweet. Scrambled eggs were flat cold and to say that was 3 eggs then they were tiny eggs. Coffee a disaster, one machin working only which pumped out warm whitish water. Staff go it working, they were very apologetic but the machine was fly infested. The lady helping sort the machine was embarrassed by the poor hygiene. The guy that served our food had personal hygiene issues. I'm goid with JDW but this was as bad as it could get.

New location, not like there traditional pubs. Menu is the same and the food was good. Nice view over the fountains.

Fast at bringing food and drink to tables even though it was busy

Just walked out after standing at the bar for 10 minutes. Staff chatting at the end of the bar as queue grew. NO idea of how to work a bar queue, serving randoms who'd just arrived....very poor service.

Went in for Father's day. Decent food and drinks, well priced

Just popped in for a drink with a friend. Was rather nice to sit outside in city park on a warm sunny afternoon.

Fish was very nice crispy batter and soft fish. Monday so fairly quiet. Waited about 12 minutes. Good selection of sauces available.

It's a spoons, cheap beer and not bad food. Plenty of room inside up and down stairs, and a good area outside.

Ordered 2 very well-done steaks and had both come still raw in the middle. The staff were great to get 2 fresh ones put on for us, but unfortunately, both replacements were about 50% chewy fat.. This has been the worst spoons I have been to for the food.

I've been here a few times, and for me, it's not as bad as what some patrons have written. it can get a bit loud, and personally that isn't for me. (But I see many other patron happy loud sing drink) So maybe for other patron it';s okay. You go and decide. 4 star from me, and I go again

A good selection of drinks and food

Massive pub on two floors in a great location on Centenary Square. Didn't really like having to drink out of plastic glasses outside on the patio, but past acts by some idiots forced that on them, I'd guess. Good choice of beers at very competitive prices, as usual

Cheap drink.fast friendly service

A no-nonsense, efficient wetherspoons with good service, particularly from Stacey. I had a regular sized traditional breakfast with extra black pudding and a hot drink for £4.93 ordered at the bar. I ordered a very good ale on the app for £3.45. Clean throughout the restaurant despite being quite busy. All in all, a good wetherspoons pub. Worth visiting if you're in the area.

Didn't eat on this occasion however I have eaten here before and it was nice. A unexpectedly quiet pub for the location.

All round great place cheapish food and drinks always fast serive

On every occasion I visit the Turls green the food remains the same high standard the staff are polite and courteous and they have great beers.

The toilets are a mess, but service to the table is good. The problem is that street people keep coming in and using the toilets and sleeping at the tables. Security is needed at this bar.

It's a typical Wetherspoons, right dpwn to the sticky tables. We came in lateish in Saturday, had a couple of drinks. Bar service was pleasant, some dodgy clientele had to be escorted out of the disabled wc, but the security were professional rather than heavy-handed. Pub was pretty quiet otherwise. OK for a cheap drink.

Did not have food but place lacked any atmosphere. Drinks OK service from app ok. Not Busy for Saturday night. Toilets upstairs were poor no toilet paper and deff not checked wet floor. Disabled toilet on ground floor in poor state no toilet roll. A very poor experience

Sat outside served quickly and staff very pleasant. Managed to get seat inside today very popular venue.

Ladies' toilets need to be downstairs. Once you pop, you just can't stop, and it's a long way to go, haha...

The breakfast needs improving, cold plate, food not warm enough, no pride showing in comparison to city vaults, which does an excellent breakfast. It used to be good at The Turls green for breakfast, I'm not sure of the rest of the food coz of u struggle with a breakfast, I think you will with anything harder like a curry or something.

Can't go wrong with wetherspoons, nice breakfast

WTAF has happened to Spoons?? Not been in for a year or so for food. Cardboard burger and a pint for £7.50. I would rather eat a dead horse next time. Used to be much better, granted, it's never been anything to shout about, but I feel like they sat on a pack of frozen burgers and whacked a bun either side this time. Poor. Stay clear. Spend your money on rent or heating, and imagine a better burger instead.

Beautiful food, perfectly cooked. Ate upstairs because downstairs or outside you tend to get more inebriated clientele. I guess you get that with every city centre pub. On the whole a great time to grab a meal before the theatre and very reasonable prices.

Woke up in my own sick shoes missing and wife had left. honestly good place to drink and get bags in

Filthy place no cleaning is done, tables and glasses were dirty, staff made me uncomfortable, food is not made to a good standard, not a nice environment wouldn’t go again or recommend. If could give this place a 0 rating I would.

Very disappointed with pizza( dry and burned pepperoni) but the one of the waitress said it is always like that - she wasn’t nice . I’ll never come back here again.

Steak like leather and a handful of chips with nothing else on the plate . Steak was full of gristle . Absolutely piss poor . I will never eat in there again .

Don’t go anywhere near their stole bag off chair on front of cctv camera, girl behind bar said it was a blind spot??? Police have been informed!!! If you do keep your valuables close thieves in operation!!! Reward being offered for return of bag! X

Haven't eaten here in awhile, but food was good. Coffee is great and I like to relax here.

Smell of Weatherspoons and old soaked in beer carpets like in every other Weatherspoons, standard Weatherspoons food + their good prices and selection of beer works like magnet to drag the countrys "elite" over. I never expect much from them, but I'm usually satisfied.

We got there and went upstairs because it was quite full downstairs. We picked a table and both the table and the floor was sticky. It's like it hadn't been cleaned from the night before. It was horrible. Neither of us wanted to touch the table or put anything on it. A young lad who worked there walked past and I asked him if he could possibly clean the table and he didn't look very happy I'd asked him. When he came back he didn't wipe it very well. My friend (who is a cleaner) said she should have done it. I could have done it better. Good was okay. Basic really. My friend had to go up and get her own coffee. Safe to say we won't go back.

It's a big Spoons in the centre of Bradford. Many tables downstairs - close together. It seems like there's more space upstairs. Toilets upstairs. Service decent, plenty staff working. Food and atmosphere as expected for Spoons.

Great place. Like going there. No loud music. Great food. Good ambience. Great prices. Great location.

Haven't been to Bradford for years so on a Day out there we decided to visit ' The Spoons' . We decided to go upstairs as downstairs was quite full ( good sign ) They seemd very short staffed . I waited a while at the bar along with another customer to beserved and it seemed that one of the Staff actually served us during his lunch break . The staff were very friendly but the food . Fish and Chips and Chiken Tikka Masala were okay . Our exerience here wasn't as positive as other Spoons.

Went here before the theatre , got steak and jacket potato. As always it was cooked how I wanted and food out in good time.

A very nice bar and a very good selection of Beers and Lager's

Vine served with extra foam on top in a glass decorated with some previous costumers lipstick. Asked the server behind the bar to change it. They said it's always foams like that and started to pour over the soiled drink to a supposedly cleaner glass... Just walked off no point to argue with that... Lesson learned.

My first visit to the Turks Green I was surprised that it was a newish building and a dining room both on the ground and first floors, we ate upstairs as it was not as busy, the young lady behind the bar was very pleasant. Our food was soon with us and it was hot (✓) from upstairs we had a good view over Centenary Square.what did we eat well Cod & Chips with mushies which is my standard nosh in a spoons. Would I return? Yes but Bradford is not a place I visit often but another trip out with our bus passes is not beyond the possibilities but it will need to be warmer.

The staff were on the ball and the tables were very clean. Quite impressed with the eggs Benedict. The plate was lovely and warm too, not a common occurrence in spoons. A solid 4/5

Standard Wetherspoons, but I like it prior to a gig or the theatre

Great place to grab a few drinks. They have a very good selection of food as well. Loved the pizza and wings.

Been here twice and both times I cannot complain. The food is good and the service is good too. Bathrooms are clean and tidy and there are lots of places to sit which is always handy when its busy.

Top staff 👌 really helpful and friendly fast service

It's a big Wetherspoons in the centre of Bradford so it is what it is, but I've given it four stars because it's cheap, cheerful, wasn't too busy when we were there and the bar staff were great. Personally, I really like a Wetherspoons, they have a place in the ever growing indie bars where you pay £6 for a pint of lager (although I also like these type of places too).

For a Weatherspoon, I rate this 5. It was clean and nice people. I went here after watching a show in Al Hambra theatre so it was late but was still in good shape.

Nice place, standard Wetherspoons. Had a lovely gammon egg and chips. Recommended.

Atmosphere is nice, the drinks are very well priced compared to some of the other pubs and clubs in the area, food is pretty decent and also fairly priced. They do deals and offers a lot of the time too depending on season or if there’s something special like an event or whatnot on. Staff are well managed and know how to make you feel like you belong. Would very much recommend if you’re wanting a night out or just wanna have a few drinks and some dinner with family or a few mates.

On a busy Wednesday we managed to find the only spare table upstairs. The staff were very efficient. After serving food they cleared and cleaned another table. No table was left uncleared for more than minutes.They still had time to be friendly.

Went here for dinner and breakfast (different days (had to stay the night)). I had a festive brie burger and an American breakfast (for breakfast) and they were both great (I had the American breakfast in England so I hope I'm excused for that). You could say the breakfast was a little too great as I had to make a "quick" stop in the toilets (which were big and lovely). This could've also been caused by the man sat next to me (he will remain unnamed) because he couldn't finish his meal so I had to consume a sausage and hash brown from his plate. As you may not know, I'm currently trying to put on some pounds as you Americans call it and my meals were 1.5k and 1.2k calories which was wonderful for me. That's almost a tenth of my daily intake.

We dropped in here for lunch on the way to a matinee at the Alhambra. As ever this was a slick operation even though the place was thronged. The one moan I had was that I had the Allday Brunch and paid £1.47 extra for two slices of black pudding and then realised when I'd almost finished that they'd only given me one. Now, I know how strict they are on portion control and presentation so something went wrong somewhere and I'm out 73.4p and that's a lot of money for a pensioner.
