Great Pub to spend a night listening to live music or just having a few drinks to wind down. Really friendly atmosphere and great bar staff

Staying near the Tradesmans Arms whilst working at the British Motor show. Great pub with a good atmosphere service was also excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit

Thankyou for a fantastic evening for my sons 21st birthday. Food was fantastic so much choice for the price. Staff very welcoming and friendly catered for all our needs. Dj was brilliant. Would definitely recommend this place.

Had a fantastic stay. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast I had was lovely. If ever in the area again I will Definitely stay again.

My partner and I come here to unwind with a few games of pool and a few beers the staff are friendly as are the locals I also visit here with a friend of mine who enjoys coming out n playing pool Since the refurbishment this pub has gone from strength to strength its a nice place to come into everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is excellent the bar staff are always friendly as well

Darren has refurbished this local pub 3 days of celebration with live music and dj.good selection of beers!

Acted as a half way point and let my mate leave my cricket bag there so i could pick it up. Very kind!

A busy Saturday night local. Pool and darts in another room. A number of quieter seating areas and sofas were good for groups to socialise together. The beer on offer (London Pride) was good. Prices reasonable for this part of the world.

Traditional pub and good pub grub. Large car park and garden. Welcoming and friendly.

We went there to have dinner but they don't serve food and we end up having a drink instead 😀 Cordial people, I've really enjoyed the atmosfere.

Friendly, welcoming.... we were greeted by Daren & Michelle who run the Pub, they chatted with us made us feel very welcome...there is a little snug area right by an open fire x2 2 seater sofas which was lovely, we had our dog with us which they spoiled with some doggy gravy biscuits, they had a dog too and our dogs really got on well. The service was quick drinks were reasonably priced for the area. We observed this friendliness as locals came in and were greeted by Daren & Michelle, as we went up to the bar the locals said hello to us and we chatted with them.... very friendly place.... if you are in the area try this pub.... give it a go!

A smashing place with brilliant service, and great live bands with friendly locals. There was an issue where my drink was taken before I finished it but was assured it wouldn't happen again so 5 stars for this place :)

Have not been in the trades for a while .went today with my son and his mate and had a great time did not realise that it was under new management .as there was nothing wrong with the last ones ..but new manager is cool ..and will do anything to make your visit a good one ..I am.sorry that I did not get his name.

Great family friendly pub. Lovely beer and great staff. The garden is stunning with all the flowers. Fabulous meat raffle on a Sunday for charity. Dogs are also welcome which is nice to see. They also have colouring books and pens for the kids and a few garden games :). Awesome bands as well!! Great pub 👍

Awful music. Too loud inconsiderate to neighbours who some are elderly and some young children from 2100-midnight. 🤬 Rude owners would NOT recommend. 😤

Great atmosphere always talk always good food and drinks are done very well. Staff are amazing welcoming qnd will lend an ear to talk if it's not busy that is lol. Worth the trip down anytime anytime. Experience at its best for food drinks meeting and enjoying. They have security who are super great aswell. There friendly there true qnd they will look out for you. Don't take my word go see. Rocky

Watched the 2022 Champions League final here. TV was a bit small and the sound a bit dodgy. Beer was good price but the gin and tonics needed garnish.

Great pub since new Landlady and landlord has taken over, great crowd gets down there now with very little trouble. Service has been so good since the restrictions have been lifted with table service but now things are back to normal we have a good laugh. If you’re in the area, give the Trades a visit, you won’t be disappointed 👍

Disgusting attitude from the landlord and lady as well as the locals to the pub. My 18 year old girlfriend was harassed by two 60+ year old men and when I went to speak to them about it, the two men as well as the landlord and his wife all became extremely confrontational and arguing saying 'it was a joke'. No matter what, harassment is not funny. As I walked in to the pub with the landlord he admitted that the man was out of order and tried to justify it by saying 'he's not usually like that'. My friends and I were asked to leave after being assaulted which hardly seems appropriate but what do you expect I guess that's just culture in this poorly ran 'pub'.

Very nice pub.Friendly locals, meat raffle ,every Sunday. Numerous TVs make it easy for you to watch football or rugby,cricket etc. Juke box with good music from the 50s to modern day hits. Pool table and of course VERY GOOD BEER. See you there for the England game on Sunday.

One of the few surviving old pubs of Cove. Had two traditional ales on plus lagers etc. Nice to see it's still patronised by locals.

Bit rough n ready but OK.. Has outdoor seating out back / to the side. Not bad, nice enough, I don't mean rough as in scary or dangerous ! Mainly a male crowd with sports TV

Brilliant friendly and welcoming staff. Nice open fire for the cold evenings and a lovely varied clientele. The pub couldn’t be more more welcoming and lovely to all punters that come through the door.

Nice clean friendly local pub, staff are nice and helpful, pool table and dart board and big screen tv for sports. Well worth a visit.
