The Imperial Standard in Rushmoor

EAR PLUGS, this has to be the loudest pub in Britain. Music on mute, ,,,,, you can hear the locals talking 70 yards away before you reach pub. This is an amazing witness to social gathering. I am from near Liverpool and to witness this is amazing. Locals are super friendly and they love talking. Sit at bar and mingle in and joy Lovely landlady and landing.

Absolute banger of a pub. Friendly af Pool,darts and great beers

Lovely place to catch up with family and friends. Reasonably priced and good atmosphere. Has the occasional live band as well.

Landlords are so lovely, and staff are too!

What a lovely pub! Beers excellent always. Pub is well maintained and incredibly social thanks to the hard work put in by rob and Teresa. Pool table is mint and i cant wait for the next opportunity i get to go there!

Great place to relax and have fun landlady/ landlord Rob and Teresa are lovely people and I really enjoy their company, the imperial standard is the best pub in Aldershot and it's now my local...Looking forward to many more great nights out.

Nice friendly old Aldershot pub, perched on a hillside away from the center of town. Patronised by locals and does a great pint of HSB.

Fantastic "proper pub" staff are friendly as are the welcoming locals. Only one real ale on tap but it's HSB, a very good pint, kept well and prices are reasonable. There's also a good pool table that's worth noting. Top place will visit again!

A traditional "local", sometimes a bit loud, but always welcoming. One real ale on hand pump (Gales HSB last night) and a good range of other beers, lagers and cider. They don't serve food, but are happy for you to bring in your own food, possibly from King's Chinese Fish and Chips, just across the road. Live bands from time to time.

Very friendly and pleasant place to have a drink and relax.

Nice quiet place when i went but it does have its lively times as i live near it and it gets quite busy. Friendly staff aswell.

Just had a very poor experience. Was in the pub for five minutes nobody at the bar then when the barman arrived he was on his mobile and didn't acknowledge us at all. Went to Wetherspoons instead. (Mon Night 9pm)

Great friendly locals pub for locals and visitors to the area. Warm and welcoming atmosphere and cheerful staff that makes you feel one of the lads heated smoking area. Available with seating. No WiFi Internet access as yet but is planned soon enough. Welcome to bring your own food in to consume in the bar from the best chipshop in the se of England.

Excellent public home..as not just a public house.. Everything you could want from a community pub..friendliness..helpfulness. Warming smiles. Excellent staff..a place where everyone knows your name..

Small but friendly, local atmosphere

They have a great arrangement with the excellent Chinese take-away opposite, which is long-established and far above the standard Chinese - it also doubles as a chippy, but beware the chip portions which are twice normal size. Anyway they are happy for you to collect your dinner from the chippy/Chinese, then take it into the pub and eat it there with your drink. If only they had wi-fi I'd give it five stars!
