food arrived hot and 20 minutes earlier than time requested - wasn't a problem as we were home. Used the Toby a few times and always enjoyable and value for money. Lovely home made yorkshire pudding and home made gravy.

Food was delivered early, well cooked well and hot. I will definitely be ordering again and recommend them to friends and family

Dinner was lovely but a little cold I’d warmed the plates so was not too bad. Personally would prefer more gravy which was lovely. Cake and custard I can’t complain about. Will use again.

The meal was delicious and well worth the money

First time we have ordered from here and there was a delay with delivery but owner kept in touch and kept us updated so it wasn't a big issue. The wait was worth it the food was piping hot, cooked fresh, gorgeous veggies cooked to perfection, real yorkshires (not ready made), and real gravy. Ordered dessert as well but was stuffed after the dinner so am saving it for later. Despite the wait time we will re order again from here.

Excellent Sunday lunch as always. I regularly get my Sunday lunch from here but I normally pop in and order and wait. Roast chicken Dinner beautiful and Apple pie and Custard to die for. It gives me pleasure to recommend "The Toby Takeaway".

The gravy was lumpy and the puddings were soggy and the dumplings were really tough and my custard on my dessert was really lumpy it is the worst diner I have ever had in my life

Worst meal we’ve ever had! Regular size beef meal - 3 very small pieces of beef no larger in diameter than a small cup which was tough and almost inedible. With it 2 small roasties and some mash which was soggy from a pile of cabbage and carrots dumped on top to make up for lack of everything else! A small Yorkshire which was also soggy from the veg. Don’t know what’s happened to Toby’s it used to be the best roast around. You get better when you go in but don’t do takeout if you can’t do it wel

Mashed potatoes weren't creamy , Yorkshire pudding wasn't cooked through,ordered extra roasties and gravy thinking they'd be separate, but no, roasties were submerged gravy

this must be the best takeaway in town proper roast dinners done proper very good quality food and very tasty couldnt fault it at all and a really good touch is that they dont smother it in gravy they serve the gravy in a seprate pot so you can put as much on that you want and what you want it on and really good portion size i was well stuffed thank you guys keep up the brilliant work well done would reckomend this to anyone who wants a 1st class roast dinner will defo order again and again

Dear Toby Takeaway. 1st time customer here, i ordered a Regular Sunday lunch today for delivery and the portion size was an absolute disgrace. It wouldn't have filled a midget i'm afraid. I could have eaten 3 of them and i'm just an average build. I feel totally ripped off. Now i can see why your prices are cheaper than everywhere else. Greedy portion sizes. Hence i won't be back. Goodbye.

Great value for money. Delivery was prompt, food was excellent my only negative is that the turnip/Swede wasn't mashed but that's my personal choice. I will definitely be ordering regularly... brilliant!!

I love this place proper home cooked grub and meat juice gravy. Pork was tender food was hot, only thing I’d prefer to get the pudding separately from the dinner as goes soft but that’s just being picky, defo be back x

To start from ordering took nearly 3hrs to arrive Lumpy mash a little meat then scraps of veg Totally disgusting Won’t use again!

This is the first time I've tried toby takeaway. The food was excellent quality and very tasty. I ordered the beef Sunday roast and everything was very good. Plenty of meat and a good choice of vegetables. It arrived nice and hot. Will definitely be going back to try something else. Good portions and definitely home cooked food.

Stodgy cold Yorkshire puds loads of veggies and barely any meat.

Food was lovely one of the best Sunday dinners I have had for take out. The puddings were a little bit heavy for my liking but thats nowt to worry about. My only criticism would be I wish you would put the cream seperate on the crumble as it just soaked in, was still nice and could have had more crumble but please keep cream seperate.
