The hotel owners were so flexible. The location is great for heading into the beacons and the rooms are clean and tidy and there were nice touches like Welsh cakes 😎

Really nice hotel, decor is beautiful yet quirky and unique in its own way, rooms are comfortable, staff very friendly and accommodating. Decent prices for its very central location, parking is just 2 min away on foot, and breakfast options are very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped for 3 nights and were made to feel very welcome.The Tiger has a few quirks but once you get used to them it's great. Lots of steps to the rooms & no lift was the only downside. The food is great.We highly recommend the Chicken&Leek pie😋

What is good about this hotel: ====≈=================== - Clean and modern rooms. - A good bath - Good location - comfortable bed - Excellent service - An attractive price relatively. What is not good about this hotel: =========================== - There is no elevator - There is no parking at the hotel, but we found parking in a nearby parking lot, free parking on Sunday - The rooms aren't so big.

The Tiger is like stepping back in time ! A beautiful stylish building,very tastefully decorated with excellent customer service. My room was lovely and the bed so comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it !! It was my first time in this amazing establishment, but I have already booked another 2 stayes ! Sue has excellent customer service also Shania. If you want to stay in an elegant establishment right in the center of Merthyr Tydfil, look no further than the Tiger Inn! Many thanks Phillip Stevens

Really helpful and detail oriented staff. Lovely coffee and cake with reasonable price. The cake was very tasty and well presented, coffee size was extraordinary.

Lovely hotel stayed here many times whilst visiting the brecon beacons very comfortable rooms . Lovely food , coffee and spirits . Will very much look forward to visiting again 😀

First night for a delivery tonight and the quality was as good as a collection. It was quick and lovely and hot. The noodles were fabulous and the special fried rice too. Never thought we would find a Chinese to better our old favourite, but this one is right up there. Top notch, thank you.

28 High StreetCame here for drinks and some food after a couple drinks else where. I was served by Sophie who was really polite and helpful throughout our visit. Great Experience!
