Went for my sons 21st ,food was beautiful, staff lovely and accommodating, atmosphere was perfect 👌

What a fabulous place to have dinner. The staff was amazing. The food to die for.... It was fabulous. Like a shining star in Mertyr Tydfil. Had a wonderful evening. Would definitely go back!!!!

The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious, with dishes that were well presented. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout the visit. So overall, great visit. However not 5 stars as: the cocktails were lacking in attention to detail, as basic elements were missed—like a margarita served with ice, no salt rim, and a large unwashed lime chunk (also spelt wrong in menu). While the decor initially appeared nice, it felt less refined up close, with plastic materials, exposed extension wires, and neon LEDs, which detracted from a more natural and relaxing atmosphere.

Booked here as a family of 3 for my husbands birthday , the decor of the place has a very 'Instagram' vibe and was beautiful. The service was very good staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasteful and good portion sizes ! We would definitely return!

Busy on the weekends, booking reservations required. Entertainment while you wait for your food was great. Card magician. Food and atmosphere are really good

Second time visiting Casa Bianca tonight and it never disappoints! Not only is the interior design and overall vibe absolutely beautiful - the food, staff and atmosphere all add to an amazing experience. The food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive, especially Alex the general manager who looked after us so well tonight. Will definitely be back!

We visited on 4/8 at 1pm. The decor and atmosphere is lovely, despite the outside surroundings leaving a lot to be desired. The only reason I didn’t give that 5* was that there was building work going on next door. While it wasn’t the fault of the restaurant, the drilling was so incredibly loud, we had to wait for it to stop before our server could hear us, to place our orders. There were only a couple tables filled when we first entered. The service started off great. As the lunch crowd started to come in, it seemed the focus was switched to the bigger tables, and people getting served before we were. That’s the only reason I gave the service 4*. The servers were very friendly otherwise. The food was outstanding. There was my husband and I with our 2 kids. The calamari starters were lovely. The spaghetti bolognaise, Hawaiian pizza, seafood risotto and calzone were great. We would definitely go back again.

Four of us went for dinner here recently. To be honest, there was nowhere else open, so we didn’t exactly have much of a choice! The food was fine, but the atmosphere and customer service were lacking. Three of us got pizza, and one got pasta. It was nice, and no one had any issues. The desserts were nice too, although I suspect they were bought in. The staff acted like they really didn’t want to be there. There was no enthusiasm or interest. No one asked us if our meal was ok. We had to ask two times for dessert menus. And they ran out of a certain beer, but just brought a different one to the table without asking if we were ok drinking it. While we sat there at our window seat, we had a beautiful view of every dipso Merthyr Tydfil had to offer. People going up and down right outside, drunk or high or both. And this was a Tuesday night. I wouldn’t go to Merthyr Tydfil again, nevermind this restaurant.

2 night stay in Merthyr, had Indian on 1st night and came here for 2nd. It was a Saturday night and I decided to book a table for two. Glad I did as there were no other empty tables when we arrived. Had the mushroom starter followed by Pizza. Good food, attentive staff and lovely restaurant interior. Would recommend.

Comfortable restaurant, even for a solo diner. Interesting decor. Super comfortable chairs (or maybe that's because im particularly worn out from a long walk today). Attentive staff. Service was a little slow - but they did apologise and I could see a couple of large groups dining. Delicious pasta, fairly good garlic bread. Didn't go for a dessert (way too ful!) Vegan and vegetarian options available (not sure about dessert).

Very nice meal here, stayed a few days in Merthyr, believe this is the best restaurant in town.

My Son and Grandson took me fo my Birthday. We had a lovely meal the staff were very polite and helpful. I use a wheelchair and there was room to get to the table. ( let the restaurant know in advance if you use a wheelchair just to make sure). The disabled toilet is very clean and room to get in and easily.

So a Moroccan named restaurant that served Italian food, with an ambuance of Japan and the Amazon rainforest..think someone is on shrooms ...food was delicious although at the end found a dead Mussel in my seafood spaghetti, right at the end, I explained my inquiry to the waiter who littery did not do anything about it ...place was busy and felt kinda rushed They cheated on me mates Carbonara and used cream..at the temperature the Carbonara came out, the eggs should have scrambled

Booked in advance for a meal for 6 people. The place is lovely, but bigger than their Abergavenny branch, and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The food took a long time to come out despite there only being two other tables eating, but we didn't mind. We did end up sending one meal and three side dishes back as they were stone cold. This was quickly fixed, pasta, I imagine by heating in the microwave, but chips were remade fresh. They also allowed us to bring in our own cheesecake in place of a birthday cake. All in all, it was a lovely evening, but could do with a bit of work on the food/service speed. Thanks all!

Poor food. Luke warm and pasta swimming in cream. Service was equally as poor. Waiter didn't provide cutlery and when I asked for it he didn't understand me. Wouldn't rush back.

The restaurant was packed ,didn't book but managed to get a table, the food was amazing as was the atmosphere the staff were really lovely too will definitely visit again when back in wales

We were in a party of 16 and had preordered our meals, yet our food didn’t come out until an hour and 10 minutes after our booked time. We had to ask someone to come and take our drinks order. We’d waited so long that we went to the bar but were told it was table service only. When the drinks finally came out, the order was wrong wrong/incomplete. The waiter/waitress didn’t take our starters away so we didn’t have much room on the tables. We also didn’t have enough cutlery. When the food finally arrived it was delicious but we were given an adults meal instead of a children’s meal and were also charged for an adults portion, even though it was sent back and changed. We ordered deserts and k e was forgotten. And we had to ask for it. All in all, we felt we were forgotten about as we were in the back room.

Absolute top class service from the Owner Alfred and the staff. For starter we ordered the Antipasti Di Pesce which was a beautiful big platter, then for the mains we had the following (1) Spaghetti di Pesce and (2) Ravioli au Funghi Porcini. If you are a seafood person the starter and the first main dishes I highly recommend.

This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! The whole restaurant was stunningly decorated. The food was perfect. Shannese our waitress was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted something special and this place didn't disappoint.

Happy with the booking process and finding a parking near by . The restaurant was easy to find the personnel were very friendly and efficient. Liked most of the food we ordered . The charcutterie board wasn't what I was thinking . This is my opinion only though . If I to visit the town again , sure thing would visit the Casa Bianca too . Thank you for your service .

Really great. I was told portions were small but actually the portions were very generous!! Really great service. Clean, welcoming and beautiful environment, professional well dressed waitresses. Great food. Worth every penny. A wonderful way to spend the night.

Food was nice but let down by the shocking service. It started the second we walked in when we were told we had no reservation despite presenting the confirmation email with correct date/time and location. But we were finally seated. We then sat waiting for 20mins with no sign of any drinks order being taken so I went to the bar to ask. 10mins later someone came to take the order. We then waited a further 50minutes before I had enough and went to ask where our starter was (bear in mind it was bruschetta so not the most elaborate of dishes). Staff were apologetic but didn’t seem to know what tables were at what point in their meals at all. We saw other tables, repeatedly ask for the bill, others asked if they had ordered yet when they had infact already finished their mains etc etc. One table next to us of 2 even walked out after drinks because either no one returned to take their order or their mains simply never arrived. I tried to cut them some slack because it was a Saturday night but the restaurant was half full so not really any excuse. Atmosphere of the restaurant was also let down by the fact many many diners were frustrated with waiting.

I don't know what happened at Casa Bianca tonight but we waited over an hour for our food which never came so we spoke to the staff and left. It looked like we weren't the only ones waiting for our food, but others who came in after us were brought food immediately. And it looked like they were doing takeaway orders? Really disappointing. Staff were friendly and apologetic but seemed unable to rectify the situation.

A magnificently presented restaurant, and the experience did not disappoint - far from it. From the welcoming greeting to spacious tables, and delicious food, the splendid, beautiful, enchanting, decor was so relaxing throughout. I can't single out a food item as everything was lovely, and I sincerely hope I can return here again !!! Tip: Park in the town multi-storey car park, as only up to an hour nearby.

Came hete for a birthday meal after my partner had booked us a weekend away! We arrived a couple of minutes late and the table still wasn't ready, however with them being busy its understandable! We sat down to a wobbly table however the waitress was very pleasent and allowed us to move. The starters were divine ans really reccomend! We had gamberoni and calamari! We then had the swordfish and risotto for our mains, they were tasty bu the portion size was TINY for the amount we paid! Although I understand that its down to personal prefence! The only thing that did really let it down for me was the fact that drinks we had ordered with our starters, still hadnt come by the time we finished our mains and paid the bill, although we had been charged for them! They did apologise and remove them promptly. No one checked to see if we were enjoying our food until we paid the bill, something i know is very important, luckily the food was delicious and i would reccomend!

The food was nicely presented. I had a carbonara and shared the garlic pizza bread - this was oily but to be expected because of the cheese. The food tasted nice but there was alot of oil swimming in bowl once you ate to the bottom. The last few mouthfuls werent very enjoyable. I would recommend holding back on the oil in future. Waitress was very kind.

I was extremely disappointed with my meal. My swordfish with salad which was meant to be served in butter, white wine and garlic sauce seemed to have come in just a huge amount of olive oil. There was so much oil, even the salad was completely soaked in it. Unable to pick up on any flavour at all, just oil. I contemplated sending my meal back but I have never done that before, I’m not a picky eater and don’t like to be difficult for the hospitality staff so I asked for some fresh salad with a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar which I was given. My plan was to eat the fish with the fresh salad but the amount of oil was completely off putting so I ended up eating just some of the salad. I raised this with staff and explained I was not happy to pay for my meal. The staff were polite and asked I paid only for my drink.

There were 8 of us and we all had starters with mains and some had dessert. All the dishes were of a very good standard. It was lunchtime on NYE busy and thcc we atmosphere was very good.

Went there last night (6 of us) for a Birthday celebration. Got seated at the top of the little stairs by a big front window so felt hidden away from the nice decor and the atmosphere of being out. Asked to have drinks first for a little while before ordering food but the waitress kept coming back every 5 minutes to take the order. We ordered and the food was nice but my biggest complaint is the service. We have been there a number of times over the months and the first couple of time the service was fabulous. Each time since it’s got poorer and poorer. The hospitality is definitely a let down. Eg. They used to pour a taster of the wine, not that it’s needed but it adds to the specialness of the night. They used to give free lemon chello (not sure of the spelling) again it’s not needed but adds the extra touch. All these little things are what makes going to a restaurant more unique and unfortunately I doubt we will return again. We spent a lot of money for a far from average service. Shame.

We reserved a table tonight at Casa bianca,on arrival we had to wait slightly as the table wasn't ready. We were just left standing at front door no one offered or asked if we wanted a drink. Once we were taken to our table it was situated between the ladies and gents toilets and the kitchen where the door was open at all times. The waiting staff were all right but could of been much,much better. My main course was a 20°z tomahawk steak with salad and chips and it was very enjoyable and I would recommend this to anyone else going here.

Don't book a table for 9pm,because you will have to your rush your to out by 10pm,we did book a table for 9pm,for 4,sat down ordered our starter's, they came we ate them,mains arrived we also ate them,so we decided to order a dessert only to be told the kitchen is closed the kitchen porter has left so you can't have anything, But !!!you can have a dessert to go if you want, at no time did any of the staff come and tell us the kitchen was closing ,and there must of been at least 6/7 staff,so we didn't get dessert because the kitchen is,CLOSED,

Love the Abergavenny restaurant and go often (amazing) thought I’d try Merthyr to support the brand and sadly very disappointed to say the least. Was my husbands birthday and family had travelled from the south coast. Food was excellent no doubt about that but the service is absolutely shocking! Thrown out the back and forgotten about. Only a table of 4 You would think that staff would be allocated a section but it seemed so chaotic. Staff looked like they were in a concentration camp, no smiles or real interaction other than can I take your order. Finished the starters and took about half an hour before the plates were cleared and even longer after the mains. Asked for a desert menu, was brought to us ten minutes later. No one came back to take the order so we all got up walked out the front (not busy at all) to pay for the bill. Family said that they would never return based on the shoddy service. To be honest, I doubt I will either. Such a shame as the owner is lovely and have had amazing experiences in Abergavenny. Responded to your email. Awaiting a reply. Update: A Month on from visit. Had a phone call, sent a few emails back and forth then nothing. Customer service again at it's very finest. Obviously don't seem concerned with all the negative comments/reviews. If you want decent service, look elsewhere t avoid disappointment.

Had a beautiful meal for my mother in laws birthday. All the food was delicious and well seasoned, and we met the chef who’s Sicilian so you know the food is authentic! Definitely recommend - The Antipasti, calamari and the lamb dish!

Hit and miss for food and service which is very inconsistent...

It’s hard to know what to really say about this place. It’s got loads of amazing reviews so we were more than a little excited about trying it out. This could be fantastic restaurant. It really could, it’s just a shame it did not deliver on our night. For the price you pay, you expect a lot more value for your money. Unfortunately, our table of 10 left the evening feeling very short changed. Our portion of the bill (family of 5. 2 adults 3 kids) was over £180. I’m pretty sure the chef is very qualified to do his job, but if your USP is an authentic Italian dining experience - maybe an Italian chef would be better. Some of the food was nice, it’s just that we felt that it just didn’t stand up to the high price point. Atmosphere is amazing and the staff were lovely, however service was very very slow. 8 meals came out and we were left waiting for the other two for 15 minutes. It’s a shame as I really, really wanted this place to be amazing as I feel that Merthyr is crying out for such a place. Hopefully they will learn from mistakes and improve.

Had a bit of trouble trying to book in and had to go into the restaurant to do it rather than phone up. I'm glad we did because inside it's lovely! The service was good and the food was delicious. We had bruschetta and calamari to start and 2 pizzas for main, really tasty.

We were a party of 12, a special gathering of friends with partners and a daughter from America that met when we were 11years old, starting at Cyfarthfa grammar school, over 55 years ago. The food, service, welcome and attention was fantastic. I would recommend any celebration to consider this restaurant.

Arrived to celebrate our twin daughter’s birthday. As we were shown our table while sorting out our seating we were asked about ordering drinks to which we replied could we just have a moment, this seemed to be ignored as the waitress looked on waiting a reply, still trying to sit we were asked about wine to which we replied we weren’t sure until we had an opportunity to look at the drinks menu to see what was available, the response was to remove the wine glasses, if you need a glass I can bring them back was the response, all this while 2 of the party if 7 were still trying to sit. The drinks finally arrived only for the waitress to drop s bottle of lager over an empty chair and a handbag located on there, the response ‘no panic’ just a bag full of lager. Starters arrived and when eaten the plates removed quickly, almost giving the impressions they needed to vacate the table in a hurry, again the waitress dropping cutlets on the trousers of one of the group again dismissing the action, this we found was wrong as there was a rather lengthy wait until the mains arrived. Mains there were 7 in the group 6 mains arrived, the 7th we waiting a short while then asked, to it’s arrival ‘it’ll be 15mins’ it appears the the waitress took the order but forgot to place the order with the kitchen. We then had two options, wait for the 7th meal so we could all eat together or eat before it went cold and when it arrives the person could then effectively eat alone. There was no recognition of any failings on the staffs part, we had been before and had s lovely experience this is definitely the last time we would be using this venue -shocking service, thd worst I have ever experienced.

The food was top tier, a nice range, and very high quality. The cocktails were brilliant, I’d highly recommend the mojito, aswell as the gamborini and banoffee pie. We went more than once in our short stay, thoroughly enjoyed :) x
