Waiter chewing gum as he served us, told that they couldn't guarantee that the pizza meals would arrive at same time as the meals off the main menu, table was sticky and not cleaned properly, ladies toilet dirty and seat in disabled toilet broken. Food was awful and the whole place was dingy.

Extremely slow service!!!!!! The pizza's were partly cold when they finally arrived after almost 2 hours of waiting!! The pasta dish came long before the three pizzas so my family did not all get to enjoy our food together. I'm not sure what is happening would not recommend.

We are regulars at 3 of the other pubs in this small chain and have been for many years. We have always had exceptional experiences there. This one I had a not so great experience here a while ago but figured it was worth another go. We arrived at our table booking time and had to wait 5 mins to be seated. I then received an email to say they had ‘updated’ our time at the table to 15 mins before meaning we would have had to return this sooner. We didn’t request this so not sure what happened with that. We ordered off the two menus. We fully appreciate that these won’t come at the same time and don’t mind at all. Nobody came to take out food order. After 20 mins, I asked someone and then someone came over. When my partner’s food had been long finished, there was still no sign of mine. The server came over a couple of times to let me know it would be arriving soon. It came. I ordered a pizza. I’ve eaten these here for years (at other pubs) but this one was a disappointment. The base was soggy and I ordered the Montpelier which is a four cheese pizza. It had barely any cheese. I left half of it- again unheard of for me! The server name came to ask if we wanted more drinks, despite them being finished part way through my partner’s meal and the place had spare tables. Nobody came to ask for pudding, which we would have ordered. Iwas so disappointed in the whole experience we paid on the app and left. Will we return? No, we will visit The Swan, joiner’s or Bull’s Head as they’re guaranteed to be great all of the time. It’s a shame as this should be consistent. As a by thee by, the car park is far too small where if you park next to a car, you can’t actually get out. We parked down the road.

This has to be hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever stepped foot in… I love this place so much I have been 6 times in the past 2 years and going again this weekend. The staff, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. Not a single element of this restaurant isn’t its best. In the space of 1 month I attended 3 times: once for an anniversary, a birthday and a family dinner. Also quick mention of the HIGE PORTION SIZES ( I’ve never been able to finish). My special server shout outs are Louise ( who served us downstairs) and Ant (who severed us in the blossom tree) they were amazing and made the meals that much more enjoyable.

Genuinely can’t recommend the Three Tuns enough. The lady that served us (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) could not do enough for us and all the other staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible and even though we didn’t preorder, they went out of their way to make me a birthday cocktail (even changing the ingredients to ones I would like). Would come back here in a heartbeat!

We wanted an English Pub experience and this was very close to our hotel. We pre booked the afternoon we went with ease online. The food was great, large meals and very tasty. Service was great and price was reasonable. We were very pleased we chose this place to eat.

I visited last Saturday for dinner with 6 of my friends. I ordered the large yakatori skewer. I had already eaten some of the skewer before I realised that the chicken was raw in the middle., I don’t mean slightly undercooked, it was RAW! I am baffled at how this could have happened? Obviously, no cooking times were followed and no meat thermometer was used! This should not happen in a professional kitchen!! It is a health risk. The evening was ruined for me as I was unable to eat anything after this discovery, because I was worried about any illness consequences that would follow. Needless to say I would not recommend visiting here.

Cancelled the reservation for my partners birthday 1 hour before we were due to arrive and gave no explanation. the table had been booked for weeks. Appalling

First time we had been to this public house and we had a voucher for a meal. We did find it difficult to access the menu and order then put the voucher code in all on line. Matt, a server, spotted our need for help and came to the rescue. He was brilliant, patient and determined to help which he did! The meal was great and tasted better from the help Matt gave us…many thanks

Booked in the bar area with the dog that was great had nice table in the corner. Used the app to order but everything seemed to take quit a while and it wasn’t even that busy seemed to be plenty staff working. Popcorn chicken was delicious as was the wine we chose. But that was about it had a selection of little sticks for mains with some sides. Some were average some were poor quality cold and dry. Onion rings were dreadful some not even rings just strips with hardly any batter. Had better frozen ones. Chilli sesame and honey chips were nice. Crème Brûlée was horrible, over cooked and bland, disappointing as partner was looking forward to it as it’s her fave dessert. If you sit in the bar area too you seem to get no service at all just what you order brought to the table and that’s it no check backs no chance to rectify anything your not happy with. Maybe they should look at improving service for guests in the bar area. Dirty plates only cleared when they bring your next course out. It’s a shame as we have had great meals at Tubs before and had a fantastic meal at their sister restaurant The Swan. Don’t know what’s happening but been quite put off the Tuns now. Left feeling we had wasted close to £100 and not enjoyed most of it.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Very limited GF options unfortunately, 2 out of 59 options on the menu including starters and sides plus another 2 that can be made GF! I think there would be more with some thought. Service was lacking to say the least, as we were not driving there was a missed opportunity for at least 2 more drinks! The food we actually chose was good, the katsu curry could have done with some sauce but it was very tasty.

A wonderful meal made even better with the fantastic service from Louise. She was attentive, personal and went over and above to help us celebrate our late anniversary meal. Thank you Louise, we look forward to coming back and hope we have you again as our server!

We visited tonight with our daughter Matilda and we couldn’t fault anything from start to finish. The food was amazing as always but the service was next level exceptional. Our table was booked for half 6 we arrived and were told they were running slightly behind and we would need to wait for our table. Absolutely no problem at all it was valentines night & really busy so we ordered drinks from the bar and waited. The manager Laura came over to us shortly after and told us she had found us another table and would we mind sitting there. Of course we didn’t. We sat down and were given a round of drinks for free due to the change and tiny wait. Food arrived in no time at all, all delicious but I really want to mention the interaction every single staff member gave us especially our daughter made the visit really special. We brought her an alpaca teddy and Loren kindly came over to tell her all about the alpaca and she loved it! She was also given a Valentine’s balloon and duck from the lovely lady that served us our food. Lastly as we were leaving Laura who had been talking to Matilda about her food asked if she could give her a hug and Matilda couldn’t have been happier to oblige. Considering how busy the place was we honestly couldn’t fault anything even down to how clean the toilets were! We visit a lot and would recommend to anyone. The staff make this place really special.

No plans on coming here but drove past on a Sunday lunch, noticed a full-size car park and thought, why not? No problem for not booking as was seated in the lovely bar area. This has now become one of our favourite pubs. Lovely environment, great drinks and fab food. Most importantly, prices were good too. Shared a pizza - massive & great value at £12. Also shared an open beef sandwich with peppercorn sauce which was so nice. Onion rings were massive. Staff were dead friendly too. First impressions do count. Apologising for not booking was met with no worries, bar ok? And not the usual look that makes you feel lower than low. Lovely Gingerade mocktail too which included homemade lemon gelato…… another drink? Or pudding? Have both! It’s a good 40 minutes from where we live, but if we’re ever close, then we will return, and return often.
