The Three Crowns in Wycombe

Had a lovely meal last night. Delicious food and lovely service. Very relaxed atmosphere so different from a lot of other pubs locally that are soulless chain pubs. I was very full after my main but so glad I forced myself to have a pudding as the chocolate fondant was amazing. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for some tasty food and friendly hospitality.

We were a group of 9 and sat in an Annex because we had dogs in tow. The service was excellent, welcoming and friendly. A good choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were available at the small bar. The food was superb and fairly priced. I had the rib of beef and the meat just fell off the bone so tender. Well all had different meals and we we all agreed it was first class, as were the starters and puddings. I also noticed they were going to be doing breakfasts. We will certainly go back when we are in the area.

There is a small amount of parking out the front. Small garden and they took our order outside so no need to go to the bar. A varied menu. Lovely food and good service. The best bit was the pavlova. Sadly one of the neighbours did noisy gardening the whole time we were there. Disabled toilet is up stairs!

A great place to dine. A lovely welcoming, friendly atmosphere at The Three Crowns. We always try to dine here when visiting relatives in the area. Staff are very attentive. We like the way that tables are well spread out, not feeling cramped in as some places are. There is a delicious menu for all types and ages - even provide a box to take home any left overs! The only negative is the lack of sufficient parking, but this has never stopped us from dining here. - the village is small, with narrow roads, but people do park on the verges as there are only a few places outside The Three Crowns.

Been here twice. Excellent, friendly service. Food was really good and Christmas meal the biggest ever encountered. Great value for money and highly recommended. A very pleasant setting.

I/we were so impressed by this restaurant/pub, straight away we where given a lovely friendly greeting, made to feel welcome and at home. Food was not only beautifully presented but also some of the tastiest we’ve ever had and great value for money. Portions very generous, it’s not often that I’m defeated but had to bring half of mine home!! We will definitely be going back.

A super tasty family meal out. The venue is so inviting, tastefully decorated. All staff are so friendly and helpful. There is a great choice of menu to cater for all tastes and ages. Good value for money. Definitely will dine here again.

We live very near the Three Crowns and are regulars. This place had a brief dip owing to chefs being swapped out but it's back to its best with really interesting menu choices including several fish dishes. Last night we had pigeon breast with delicious potatoey bon-bons, scallops in fresh tasting pea veloute, baked sea bass on a rich and tasty bed of tomatoey beans with chorizo. Portions are always good and we struggle to make it to pud, although they are worth sharing if you still have the capacity. And the adjacent stable is great for a quiet drink before or after.

Hicimos algunos amigos para celebrar su aniversario de oro. El personal era de primera clase, nos tomamos una tarta y decoraron la mesa para que sea especial. Siempre sirven excelente pescado fresco aquí y el menú ofrece comida para satisfacer todos los gustos. El servicio era muy bueno y el personal hizo lo posible para que sea especial para nuestros amigos. Estamos en 70 y la mayoría de los huéspedes eran más de 50, no es un animado restaurante pero tiene un ambiente muy agradable.

No había estado en este restaurante para mientras tanto había expectativas poco. La bienvenida fue cálida, como era el ambiente. Éramos 4 de nosotros, todos nosotros en cuanto a nuestra comida extremadamente cortesía (Chef es Neal Featherstone?). Nos dejaron probar un vino y cuando nos dijo que no, que no dudaría en volver a cambiar el vino por otra. Nada era demasiado problema. Estaremos encantados de volver.

Fuimos invitados por algunos amigos, a unirse a ellos en este restaurante, que no habíamos estado antes. Tenía un buen ambiente, pero la luz era demasiado brillante. Afortunadamente alguien preguntó por las luces para ser baratija un poco. El servicio era bueno rápido sin ser agobiante. Los aperitivos eran muy buenos y 3 de nosotros (de 6) seguimiento con Steak Diane, que a menudo no se había visto en menús estos días. Nos sirvieron con una espesa filetes con una salsa muy agradable, que era precioso, pero no era Steak Diane. Steak Diane es muy finas y pan frito con una salsa hecha con los experimentados pan zumos, luego flambeado con brandy o de Madeira y la salsa vertida sobre la carne al al lado de la mesa. Así que nos decepcionó un poco.

We ate at this gastro pub last weekend and were so impressed with it. The food was excellent and the portions very generous, the service was friendly yet efficient and the general ambience was relaxed, friendly and welcoming.

Hace poco fuimos a las tres Coronas para una celebración de cumpleaños. La comida de tres platos que tuvimos fue muy buena, cada uno de nosotros tenía una selección del menú principal diferentes para cada uno de nuestros cursos y quedamos muy contentos con todo. El tamaño de las porciones eran muy grandes, así que la mayoría del tiempo que no sería capaz de manejar más de 1 o 2 platos.

Tuvimos una cena estupenda de sábado noche, reservamos a última hora. El ambiente es informal, con una elegancia discreta, country pub. El menú marca es un poco extraño - flores blancas y verdes y modernas - esto no importa. El personal era muy joven, posiblemente sólo 18 - pero muy capaz, discreto y con encanto. Empezamos con un plato de vieiras con la ensalada de queso de cabra y de puré de coliflor. Ambas eran excelentes: las vieiras eran licitación y la ensalada ligero y refrescante. Como plato principal, tuvimos el cerdo y el lemon Sole. El Sole era magnífico: el cerdo muy bien, sin ser espectacular. La casa Pinot Grigio,) era PERT por sus siglas, con tonos verde manzana y melocotón. El café espresso dejaba un poco que desear, no la crema y bastante frío glacial, pero en general, es un excelente comida y bien de precio.
