Best food I've ever had, nice and fresh, and properly cooked. I wish I had tried these guys months ago. This is definitely going to be my regular from now on. Prices are really fair for the amazing quality of ingredients they use.

It was okay. I think £7.50 for a wrap is quite expensive. The salad was quite nice, but was nothing special. Overall, it was probably worth more like £5 - £6 :-(

Pre ordered a Sunday lunch came over 1 1/2 hours late was barely warm when it arrived so needed to be reheated and wasn’t even that nice it’s went in the bin so 12.50 down the drain. First time I’ve used here wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t use again

Did a group order for Sunday dinner for work and it was probably the best takeaway Sunday dinner we’ve ordered. Food was lovely, tasted like a proper homemade Sunday dinner and big portions that we all struggled to finish too! First time we’ve ordered from here and 100% will be ordering again!

If you want a quick good quality sandwiche this is the place.ample portions and varied menu means if you want a Quick sandwiche at a very reasonable price this is th place.we often call and buy sandwiches if we are going on a journey ten times better than the rubbish you buy on the motorways and a third the price.

This place is out of the way as it is down a side street, but it is a lovely place to get a breakfast and there is table and chairs for you to sit in and eat or you can takeaway

This is Take away English food at it`s best. The quality of the service is very good, quick and efficient. Recommend "MINCE and DUMPLINGS".

I have been in this place a few times now,the first couple of times for take away deli style sandwiches, which are fresh, well made and reasonably priced as all of the ingredients used are high end. The best things at the Terrace Kitchen however are the daily specials, which range from beef dips, currys, stews and more recently Friday fish day. The food is more of a high end bistro quality for a fraction of the price than what you would pay in a city centre.everything cooked with passion as you can see from the open kitchen. Give it a try,you will be back for more!! T

I first met Peter at a craft fair where he was providing food which smelled amazing. Unfortunately I wasn't too well and was just sticking to coffee. However, he said he had a shop, so I decided to try it out. My Boyfriend knew where it was, as he lived on the street as a kid. When we went in we were greeted with a lovely looking cafe, and a big open kitchen. I was struck with Peter's informal cheeky chappie demeanor, and once you get chatting to him, he will not stop!! Which is great, as he chats whilst he cooks your food to order. The specials board changes daily, with regualr sandwich filling being there too. But it is his specials that will bring you back wanting more. If you are in on a bunny chow day, you are in for a treat. The flavours in all of the specials are amazing, a true foodies choice. But if you happen not to see something you like, just ask, Peter is always happy to cook to what you want too. Coffee and tea along with cold drinks are available. become a regular and you will soon here about his secret supper clubs too

Me and my husband visited recently and were very happy with the food and service. They have different foods changed daily, all locally sourced and cooked very well. The owner is extremely cheerful and striving to offer the best of food (definitely not a typical greasy spoon!!). My husband had the breakfast which was cooked fresh in front of us, and I had quiche with salad, both were top notch. We'll definitely be returning.

This hotel is a mixture, the staff are great, the food is excellent and over all we had outstanding value for our money - the dining was outstanding and portions more than we could cope with. We were impressed by the presentation of the food, the ambiance and also - unusually the veggie breakfast was sublime. The room, we stayed in was a little jaded - could have done with a refresh, the hot water was temperamental - we were sure that our neighbouring room was also using their shower as the temperature varied from arctic to volcanic sometimes in nanoseconds. We had a great trip around the pennines and to be honest, noting the slightly tired bedroom decor, we would consider coming again; if we were to take another trip in these parts.

20 minute wait for a cup of tea. Had to chase, was just given a crap excuse about being busy (they just forgot our order). Won’t bother next time.
