Babes, either be okay with Time Out coupons or stop offering them. Bought three afternoon tea coupons via Time Out. Arrived and first thing I was asked was, “Have you booked as part of a coupon offer?”. Showed coupons I had bought that morning. Photos taken of them all. Then asked to wait. Another staff member asked to see emailed coupons and claimed “they normally have more detail”. Then asked why I bought an afternoon tea set with alcohol for a child. Because you can’t buy one without alcohol. Finally they believed the coupons and we were allowed in. Seating lovely and quite an endearing little place. We wanted to forgive treating us like we were fraudulently eating a scone. However we sat for ten minutes before anyone even approached us. Then finally menu was explained with the word coupon used at least three times. Drinks were served and guess what, they could serve a non alcoholic drink with the voucher! Imagine. Our coupon included tea or coffee and despite ordering tea and water, it did not arrive. We tried to be patient but then we’d eaten most of the sandwiches and scones before my husband who is normally so patient got up and asked where our tea was for the afternoon tea. The response? “My colleague must have forgotten”. What could be really lovely was just too disorganised, too judgey over something they offer and just too slack in terms of service.

We went for afternoon tea as part of a gift day. Whilst the sandwiches were undeniably tasty, the scones were very small and cakes lacked flavour. When we asked if we could have some more sandwiches, they said would be £8 extra! There are a few tea options but when you order, you may only have unlimited amount of that one type of tea, not a selection... That's if you can get a waitress!! Looking back the service was pretty poor for such a nice hotel. No one came to check if everything was ok, I had to get the attention of a member of staff for more tea and then had to go to the desk to ask for the bill. Unless you get a really good deal/free meal - I wouldn't recommend this afternoon tea - definitely wouldn't pay £55 per person!

The Malaysian curry was pretty good once it arrived. However, it took over an hour from sitting down to actually getting food and that was after having to ask about the status. We then had to go find staff multiple times to ask for a drink and the bill. To apologize for the delay they gave us a free round of drinks but then we noticed afterwards that 2/3 of those drinks were on the bill. Extremely expensive for terrible service. Update: the hotel reached out to us to apologize and compensated us with afternoon tea, which was excellent. We appreciated the response.

Had an afternoon tea there. Reservation was for 4pm, we arrived an hour earlier. I asked if a table is already ready, they said no, although I saw one empty table. I asked if we could sit there, they said no. At 4pm we were seated exactly at that table. Waitress was very unfriendly as well. Food was good though.

A trendy and hipster-friendly brunch café with a laid-back vibe. The avocado toasts and artisanal coffees were a hit among millennials. The quirky decor and relaxed atmosphere made it a favorite spot for a leisurely weekend brunch.

Took 20 mins to get out the most basic salad while eating here for lunch and a couple next to me sat down after me and got large meal before my brown sad salad. The rose was nice.

Very much enjoyed our evening here. The food was yummy and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy their terrace that time so we will definitely need to return. Definitely recommend.

Really only in troubleshooting between two planes or two trains. The room is really tiny and outdated.

Ordered sushi online, then realised it was the counter in Waitrose so immediately tried to cancel as I find their sushi is usually dry and not fresh. No means of cancelling despite calling up - was told I had to call head office. So went to collect my sushi only to find that they had not even processed the order - the system was accepting orders but not sending them to be made up. There was another woman there with the same issue. They did not have the ingredients even for the orders they were accepting so I had to just collect something completely different from what I ordered. There was no way of getting a refund as it was processed online apparently. The only saving grace was the excellent guy (Andres?) behind the counter who was friendly and helpful. But the customer service was otherwise bad, and the sushi was (as predicted) not good.

Table booked 7pm on a Friday evening, completely empty, ordered drinks got lime in my tonic instead of lemon, 1st whiskey ordered from menu not available. Tried to order a soup ( on website menu ) not available, skipped starters ordered mains. Ravioli was a solid block of raviolis, pasta was thick and as tough as leather, inedible, drank the sauce which was nice. partner ordered a bowl of pasta which was flavouless apart from parmesan, and a bowl of chips only taste was pepper and parmisan, Asked for the bill, nobody questioned why the food wasn't eaten, or if it was ok, apart from drinks paid £50 for the worst meal we've ever been served. Absolute disaster, went to a nearby excellent bar for cocktails and sushi, just don't go to Little Italy to eat
