The Tea Cup Cafe in Tameside

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate my parents Diamond anniversary and the atmosphere and the food was excellent, Trish Judy and Wendy what lovely people you are the service you provide is excellent and I would recommend this place has they do takeways catering sit in and the choice of food from breakfasts to coffee and cakes well I would give this try if your in and around tameside.

What a fantastic place. Vintage flowery decor and .ots of memorabilia. Great menu for breakfast , lunch and teas. We visited for breakfast and it had great choices of fifties and sixties music playing, creating a relaxing atmosphere. All staff were forthcoming and very attentive and welcoming. There was a great choice on the menu for whatever menu you wanted to choose. We had a full breakfast which was quality food cooked perfectly. It was great value and was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Such a great choice of home made cakes and the Amazon delivery driver stopped to get a full selection to take away! A bit off the beaten track but we'll worth seeking out.

This cafe is my favourite cafe. It is quirky I love its cosiness and vintage style. The food is lovely and made fresh. Trish and her team are welcoming and very friendly. I have had breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea here at The Tea Cup Cafe. Along with Birthday cakes made to order. All were so good. This year I got married and asked Trish if it would be possible to hold our wedding reception here. We opted for afternoon high tea. Trish and her team decorated the room beautifully. They served warm canapés of the best sausage rolls and quiche I had ever tasted with mushroom vol au vents and cream cheese bites. Accompanied with Prosecco, sandwiches and the most amazing cakes, scones and mini trifles. Trish surprised us with a beautiful wedding cake which tasted AMAZING. I cannot thank Trish and her team enough for giving us the most perfect afternoon and making it so special for us.

We had the most fabolous afternoon tea at this cute little cafe! We made an reservation through their Facebook page, they answered quickly and made a very beautiful and tasty afternoon tea with all the classic and autentic pieces. Very good service! Highly recommended!

I called in here for the first time for breakfast today. Their breakfast menu has all the individual items you would expect, I opted for the standard set breakfast. It was cooked from fresh, hot and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and very welcoming and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The menu consists of Panini's, sandwiches (hot & cold) jacket potatos, pies and a specials board, along with a good selection of cakes, a slice of which I treated myself to for after tea. There is also a selection of alcoholic drinks available if you fancied something a little later in the day maybe ! I'll definitely be heading back. Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem, located in Droylsden this lovely quaint tea room offers an amazing afternoon tea which myself and my mum have become regulars at booking.They also offer a wide range of other foods, desserts, and milkshakes. Highly recommend.

Brought my mum for Mother’s Day and she enjoyed every bit of it. We had canapés to start followed by a three tier afternoon tea. Sandwiches, scones and cakes. All washed down with tea/coffee and a glass of fizzy Prosecco. The oldy worldy vibe was lovely. Music to match. I will be going back.

What a class tea room cake coffee and walnut excellent size slice and lovely taste plus a small breakfast made in record time and ate even faster cause it tasted so good will use again lovely welcome from front counter staff and kitchen staff may I wish you a merry Christmas and see you in 2023.

Visited for my mums birthday treat, I ordered us the afternoon tea and it was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches were so nice and varied, I really liked the little sausage roll as well. There was a lovely selection of cokes and they were all delicious. We were so full that we couldn’t eat it all so took the rest away. My mum said to me it was the nicest afternoon tea she’s ever had and I couldn’t agree more and what’s more it’s on our doorstep. The lady that looked after us was very welcoming and attentive, we will certainly come again, it was definitely money well spent 😁

What an absolute fantastic place this is. My sister's and very close friends came here today for afternoon tea, not only do you get plenty on your plate, the cakes and cheese cake were to die for. Well worth the money and the again for having us in your beautiful tea room

Perfectly Perfect. Was a surprise for my birthday. Fabulous greeting Fabulous food too much to eat so took it home . All home made Sausage roll quiche scones lemon cake trifle and vanillas. Picked up a sandwich platter 21 July which my friend had ordered. The order was for half white half brown with an assortment of fillings, including egg mayonnaise. When we unpacked it there were very few brown bread sandwiches and no egg mayonnaise. What we thought were going to be the egg mayonnaise were in fact cream cheese. Very disappointed for the price we paid.

Lovely place, delicious food and the ladies could not have been more welcoming. It's a gem of a cafe and we will definitely be back thank you for a lovely afternoon.
