Fantastic karaoke and quiz night. Friendly and efficient staff, nice modern atmosphere.

Classy little wine bar with a roadside terrace to the front which catches the last of the sunlight in summer. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Pricey (for Mossley) but good value for nice surroundings.

Called in for a coffee in the afternoon. Lovely coffee and not expensive. Good music playing in background.

Aurora has very recently reopened and has new management. I had been many times before and enjoyed the intimacy and atmosphere of the wine bar and had attended a private function there a few years ago. So when it reopened, we contacted Chris and Tina as we were trying to organise a family gathering for approximately 35 guests and we wanted a hot buffet. They were fabulous from the first conversation and so accommodating and came up with ideas for the buffet. We decided on 2 types of hot dishes and 2 desserts. On the day the food was just what we hoped for and everyone enjoyed it and the atmosphere lovely. The staff on the day were excellent, ( a real family team) who made the day run so smoothly. Thank you very much.

Lovely laid back atmosphere and an excellent gin list. The gin and tonic suggestions on the blackboards are great fun to try. It’s right opposite the train station and is worth going out of your way for.

Tend to pop in to Aurora on our way home after a visit to Manchester, its quite small and intimate but that for me is its charm, very friendly helpful staff and a great choice of spirits and wine, great place for a chat and a nice change from the pubs.

Great night for the valentines special. The cheese board was amazing, there was so much cheese & plenty of biscuits too. This place is an absolute gem. Great ambience & fantastic owners.

Went here for the first time today was waiting for my hubby to pick me up from the salon next door definitely recommend hair design @209 and aurora i heard about the selection of gins they do so i had a cheeky parma violet gin and rose lemonade which was delicious also the food smelt divine, lovely place would definitely go again and have food too. The prices are a little more expensive but not too much, the quality is incredible and definitely worth it. You must try this hidden jewel of Mossley.

Fab place which I highly recommend. The owners are very welcoming and very knowledgeable. Large range of gins on offer plus many other ranges. Could happily spend many hours in here watching the world go by. Lovely ambient feel to it and I can’t wait to return.

As ever I had another wonderful afternoon in aurora. The wine list has something for everyone and now they offer meat and cheese boards which are so tasty so you can sit for hours sipping and nibbling! The dry cured ham is one of the tastiest ever!!! The service is wonderful and without doubt the best bar in Mossley.

The pies are a must. Be prepared to wait a while after ordering,they're oven cooked, not microwave heated. Well worth the wait. A great selection of gins if that's your thing, handy for the train station too.

Lovely décor and a great location opposite the train station. Fantastic gin selection and a great selection of other drinks (including a very drinkable IPA). Lovely atmosphere, really comfortable yet refined. I've been a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time. They also sell pies! What's not to love?

This little wine bar opposite the train station is fantastic. A great selection of bottled beers and wine. Staff are very friendly and provide table service most of the time. The best Bar in Mossley in my opinion.

Call in regular for a first drink when going to Manchester or the other way Uppermill, Leeds etc. Two ladies always very friendly and a nice place with a vast drinks menu.

Just what Mossley needs a trendy wine bar. A great place and the owners are super friendly. Lovely to see a place like this doing well.

This wine bar is really a nice place to have a drink and we go in most Fridays. We called in for a drink last night after going for meal, cant believe we were refused a drink at 9-30pm has we were told they were closing. We meet up with lots of friends in this bar but now feel we won't be visiting the bar again. I could understand the bar closing early maybe Mon Tues or Wed but from Thurs onwards. Maybe the owners only want part time bar hours

Love to come here to chill out with a wine or 2, and even sometimes a coffee! They do a good selection of tea's too. It's reasonably priced, and the owners are lovely and friendly. Oh and they sell little saddleworth pies which are gorgeous too! Definitely recommend!
