Lovely location on the front and looks inviting. The only issue is that it is cash only and it does say until you have pretty much ordered what you want and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, which was a real shame.

This was the first place we stopped after getting the train into Weymouth for the day. we had an early morning tea and toast snack. The tea was "proper tea" and thick buttery toast. we were hooked so after a morning walking the beach we went back fro lunch. we had freshly made sandwiches that had lots of filling and were served on a proper china plate- rare these days. Then at 4pm we had a super ice cream to end the day. The next day we returned, had tea, then 2 jackets potatoes for lunch. I had cheddar cheese and there was plenty of it and hubby had tuna, he said this was really good , and again lots of it. The dark haired small lady in the kiosk was very friendly and even though other customers were being difficult/ needy, she kept a smile on her face. A great place , that made our time in Weymouth all the better . Thank you

Average food - avoid the chips. Staff were very rude. Kept being interrupted when placing my order and once food arrived they were still moody and not interested in the customers.

This place is a real gem. Although it looks like a typical seaside kiosk, the sandwiches are made with fresh bread and fresh salad produce. The cake was excellent too.

Good service but a mug of tea and good coffee is far better priced a few doors along at the Beach Cafe. Better views here and more friendly locals and owner.

Perfect location as you get off the (excellent) Park & Ride bus, and right on the seafront. The busy ladies in there were cheerful and welcoming. The coffee was hot and strong – just what was needed on a cool day with a long walk ahead.

As other reviewers have said, the Tea Cabin serves the best ice cream in Weymouth. And we should know because we've been going there every time we're in town since I was tiny (which was a very long time ago). Standard fare cooked very well by friendly and capable staff. It's a welcoming place that I'll happily frequent on my own when family aren't around, and of course proximity to the ocean can't be bad either!

This is the place to go for a hot, cooked to order breakfast. The food is high quality, served hot on a hot plate which these days is unusual. The service is fast and they are so friendly. Try it you won't be disappointed.

We always go here when in Weymouth as it has the best ice cream in my view and by far the best cup of tea in Weymouth (My wifes view and she is a expert in this field). The Tea Cabin serves good food as well and a sign of a good place is that there is always someone there and there is always someone here.

The ice cream here was one of the best we have had. So good my husband had 2 cones back to back. Only negative would be using their hands to touch the cones and chocolate flakes after touching money and cooking other food. That was off putting for me to see but other than that the ice cream was great !

I've been coming to Weymouth wirh family and solo for over forty years and The Tea Cabin has been a consistent feature - cracking cuppa and sausage sarnies by the sea, lovely staff and brilliant ice cream, what more could anyone want? Do keep an eye on the seagulls though. Due to daft tourists throwing them scraps over the years it's quite possible to watch your lovely sandwich being carried away and fought over, as my Mum found out last year!

Its location on the seafront makes this very popular. Serves jacket potatoes, toasties as well as the usual chips, cakes, and ice cream. Does take aways too. No indoor seating, but some outside under cover. Great to "people watch" as its on the esplanade.

I think this place has been here for 30 years and it shows. Tables have seen better days, odd sugar/stirrer etc arrangement in such a small place causing congestion. Tea and coffee was adequate. Carrot Cake was awful, stop buying in this rubbish and get baking! Could be a brilliant little place.

We stopped here for lunch this week, on a bright and sunny afternoon. There were 7 of us made up of 3 adults and 5 under 6! We ordered food and drinks which arrived quickly and was freshly prepared, even though it was a busy day for them. The price of food was amazing - for 6 of us to eat it cost us less than £25 which I thought was a good deal.

Amazing breakfast. Very good value for money. A group of us traveled to Weymouth on our motorbikes and asked the guys who drive the land train where is good. They suggested nanna moons and they were spot on.

Visited on a very atmospheric March afternoon. Quite bustling, despite the weather and managed to get one of the window seats which is obviously one of the main attractions of the place. I had hoped for more goujons (I was told 4, but only 3 arrived) but they were tasty as was the tartare sauce. The coffee was pretty strong (a good thing!). Would rate 3.5/5. It has a kind of canteen-esc vibe and can well imagine it being PACKED in summer. Would like to come back again after a blustery coastal walk and make the most of their winter warmer specials and cosying up by the window overlooking the sea.

We stopped here for lunch on the first sunny Saturday of the year. Deli board was delicious as was the bottle of Riesling. Excellent service, friendly and clearly very knowledgeable. We love visiting Weymouth and will definitely be back to Vinolo 🍷🧀

Avoid! We went in for ice cream - they had about 3 flavours out of the 15 or so advertised. They blamed delivery. When we ordered 5 they handed us 5 pathetic tiny scoops in tubs - didn’t even ask if that was ok. When we complained the manager aggressively told us “we are closing next week so running supplies down” as if we were somehow outrageous to expect cones/to be told there was no cones before we paid. It needs a good clean too inside.

Have visited the adventure cafe a few times over the years , the cafe is spacious clean and has rock climbing photos all around the place. Service has quick and easy with the staff helpful and friendly The breakfast ( we had the classic ) was huge ! If you go for the quarryman size be sure to take your time and arrive on an empty stomach! The food was delicious, well prepared , all in all a must for any person visiting
