This has just opened in South Ealing and I absolutely love it. Everything so tasty and fresh. Chicken roll is the best as well as the chaat is amazing. This is by far the best restaurant I have ever eaten in whole of 24 years i been in england. Fresh and you can tell this is cooked with a passion. Well done Tava shop

It was a good experience with proper Indian street food. The taste was amazing and also the service. As we went there for the first time, the staff even came to us personally to take our feedback about the food and overall service we received. They were very open to feedback and that was a good thing, as that showd they care about customers and they want to improve wherever necessary. We tried Chole bhature and Pav bhaji. The food was not oily like most other so called “Indian” restaurants in this area. We went during brunch m, so there was no waiting and service was quick.

Wow….I’m so happy and belly so content that we went and tried the food at this place. Everything we’ve ordered was so tasty and we cannot wait to go back for more. So glad that we live close by so we can visit it again as often as we’d like. We enjoyed both the food and drinks and actually ordered more pani puri so that we can finish the mint water. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I took my 82 years old mother, the food was good a bit expensive, good vegetarian choices, we had pani poori which could have done with a bit of tamarind chutney and masala could be a bigger portion. The dahi baka were yellow in colour again a little bit of tamarind chutney would have been enhancing the taste. The dabeli was good but needed a bit more salt, the paw bhaji was lovely

Amazing food so tasty had to order several dishes twice!

The quality of Tawa Shop has gone down since it has opened. The salt and oil is more then required. Did not enjoy the food as it did not look fresh and healthy. I am dissatisfied as I used to live Bombay style and chat food. Please go back to how it was. Freshly prepared and not overpowering salt and tangyness.

As a foodie, The Tava Shop in Sutton impressed me with its delicious, well-balanced dishes. I tried everything on the menu, and each item was packed with authentic flavor. The service was outstanding, thanks to a friendly and attentive waiter who ensured we had a great experience. To round off the meal, I enjoyed a cup of Deewani Chai, which was the perfect finishing touch. If you're in Sutton, this place is a must-visit for both the food and the exceptional service.

The food is very flavourful with authentic street food taste. The desert which is called Rasmalai milk cake taste like heaven . Very well priced each platter and variety of option . Good ambiance. Really enjoyed the lunch

We hosted a birthday party at the tava shop and had a fantastic experience. Praveen and his team were incredibly helpful in creating a custom menu with unique dishes not in their regular menu, and decorating the party hall. The value for money was exceptional, and we were thoroughly impressed with both the food and service.

Beautiful food in a lovely little restaurant. This was my first take visiting the Tava shop. The food was delicious, unique and I will be bringing back friends. I’ve not been impressed like this in a while. If you’re undecided, take my advice, just go in and try it. You will be happier for it.

The pav bhaji provided was gone off (smelly) . Called the restaurant no response , kept on hold for long spoke to 3 different people . No luck.

We went on a Sunday and as a large group, the two staff members were very nice and served us very well. The food is excellent and we look forward to coming back. Only thing to improve is the plates and cutlery being disposable, slightly ruined the experience.

My order never delivered. I used my stamp card as well for this order. That is also gone now even if I get a refund. Very much disappointed.

I popped in to try a takeaway Chicken Khati Roll. I'd been hoping that someone in Croydon would start doing these, and The Tava Shop gave me a perfect delicious hot fresh Khati Roll cooked in front of me while I chatted to the guy who served me. The place is super clean and spotless and the people are really friendly. Thanks!

An amazing find for tantalising, authentic and fresh indian street food. We loved everything we ordered. One of the best chhole bhature preparations i found in London- not completely but close to taste in what you'd find in Delhi. Momos, pao bhaji, masala chai- everything was made fresh and tasty. I am going to visit them again for more of their food. The restaurant is clean, hygienic, clean toilets and service is great too.

Very happy repeat customer. The koliwada prawns are fantastic and the vada pav is always delicious... I'm not sure that it's possible to find a sandwich with more flavour!

Tried this place as a new takeaway option compared to our usual Indian. Food was okay and not too spicy(had the masala chicken wrap), however it did a number on me the following morning. Had a stomach bug and could not leave the bathroom. Would not recommend.

Everything on the menu is tasty and worth trying. Our go to food is amazing Vada Pao, Dahi Bhalla/Samosa Chaat, Dabeli, Chai, Chole Bhature..the food here never disappoints you and is always consistent. Overall, great street food and superb service. Definitely recommend trying!

We had an take away of pavbhaji, vada pav, rasmalai and many more items also we had an panipuri, the best panipuri i have had in u.k. Everything was well cooked and taste of every item will remind you of india, price is also nominal. Also the staff especially hardik who helps you to choose item and cook your food as per your taste. Highly recommended.

I had eaten best vadapav of my life. Delicious taste and also friendly service.

Although plenty of vegan options were available - I was not so hungry. However, the chips I had - loved them. They don't do dairy-free yogurt - otherwise their yoghurt based snacks looked good to munch. Their in-house chilli sauce was spicccccy... Then again my spice levels are low. Oh yes.... You can have as many ketchup sachets as you like. :) Great desi junk/fast food place.

Average street food. Expensive for the portions they gave. Not the typical Indian street food but the effort to reach there is good. Momo Manchurian's sauce had excess cornstarch for thickening and the sauce itself didn't taste Indo-chinese. Momo on its own was good though. Keema pav was oily but ok tasty. Chicken Tikka loaded fries were very average and unnecessarily spicy, so much so that the flavours got lost. I had chicken Tikka loaded fries from a food truck in Croydon last year and have been looking for it ever since. They were unforgettable. Unfortunately, I don't remember their name but this wasn't it. I read other reviews and thought it would be authentic wholesome flavoursome street food but got a little disappointed. They were not too bad but not too good either.

Amazing food, most recommended would be vada pav and samosa, they are so close to Mumbai’s taste. Everything else is also amazing, I am a regular customer and I would anytime prefer Tava shop for its delicious food. One feedback- quantity of Momos is less, but other than that, everything on the menu, from chole bhature to fried rice is top class.

Food is second to none. It’s incredible. One not to miss

Ordered the gujarati dhabeli (takeaway) and dahi bhalla chaat. The chaat was absolutely delish and a good size dish drowning in a wonderful yogurt, tamarind and mint sauce. Enjoyed the dhabeli as it was fresh and very tasty. I will be going back to try out other items on their menu. I hope they expand to areas outside of Croydon.

Best food in the town. Specially the pav bhaji is amazing and delicious. Vadapav is in Mumbai style. Overall good food with nice taste.

Went here for a quick meal before seeing a friend, friendly service, had an excellent kheema served with buttered buns (pau) with some masala tea. I’ll be back soon!
