amazing place just needs to be busier

Food good but very overpriced mediocre wine

Not been here for years, the layout is quite sparse compared to having a central bar with the old vault on one side and the lounge on the other. We turned up on a Saturday afternoon and there were hardly any customers in apart from a few hardened regulars who I may say were very friendly. There was also a lovely dog roaming around that deserved a bit of fuss. Had a quick livener did some reminiscing about old times, the darts team and seeing a few footballers from times gone by in there. Hope the clientele gets increasingly bigger as time goes by. Good luck to the place, worth a visit for a non plastic Alty pub.

Nice pub with a roaring log fire and a good atmosphere. Pool table was decent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Super pub. Warto odwiedzić w weekend. Kiełbasa z grilla i piwo. I to wszystko bardzo tanio. Taniej i przyjemniej, niż zrobienie obiadu dla dwojga w domu. Polecam.

Came to a function here yesterday and it was great. We had the outside area so got some of the sunshine! Good selection of drinks which were reasonably priced, and the staff were very accommodating. A real gem!

Ordered a takeaway. And WOW!! Very nice!. Tasty , well cooked and definitely worth a try. Tried all the sauces, which were excellent. Highly recommended.

Should be called Tatty Arms. Good old fashion pub, dont order food from there as you'll lose 2 stones before your food arrives.

Really nice recent refurb and is a good old fashioned pub. Doesn't need things up with offering food which may cost it in the long game. Nice looking outside garden which was inviting but I was only in for one drink with my dad. An institution of many years and I do like the fact that it stubbornly remains a proper boozer. A rare thing these days

Had a lovely meal, very reasonably priced, food came quickly and staff were brill. Would recommend the schnitzel to anyone! Wishing the new management all the best with their new venture here!

Had a issue and requested to speak with management her attitude towards me and members of staff was disgusting will not return to the premises until new management is in place. I was shocked and disgusted with this woman's behaviour.

We've just taken over the Tatton Arms in Altrincham. All the prices have been slashed pints of Draught Lager start from £3.00, Draught bitter from £2.60 and a range of cask ales and stouts from £3.20. There will be a range of activities starting over the next month or two. With Live music, Open Mic nights, Quiz and Curry nights etc.

Really friendly staff, it is pricey though and in saying that food wasnt great i ordered the cod and it smelt bad tried to cover it with sauce so i can eat it and the tarte was expired. Drinks were good.

Meh. Beer cost twice as much and was half as good as the pub in Hale. TVs and music blaring. Smelled like a bar. Nothing special.
