John's Diner in Trafford

Been using here since I were a lad when it was ran by John himself, when he had photographs of the celebrities he has met. Gary Lineker, Elton John to name a few! No photoshopping in them days! Look at my other reviews to see where I've been!

Sausages tasted cheap and not a fan of eat in prices being higher than take away prices. Overall lovely place, great choice of food and great location.

I don’t think my good lady had been a place like Jon’s Diner before. Looking apprehensive on entry her eyes were opened when looking at the range of grub available. There was a bit of Devilment in my decision to take her there for a lunchtime butty. The good service and quality of the food served changed her mind. A great place for no nonsense food.

Another good eatery that's been here for ages, ive worked in Trafford Park for over 30 years, and it's always been there, with its nice modern interior, food excellent and plentiful. Cannot go wrong.

Big portions reasonably priced. Tea to milky.

Staff are extremely friendly and are happy for customers to wait for their car to be fixed. Food is very tasty and the diner very clean.

Great service, food and prices. We had 3hr wait for new car windscreen. Stayed for 2hrs, not a problem as although they were very busy, most were in for take aways. There is plenty of seating anyway.

A proper cafe, coffee at £1.50 not £3 to £4 like some places. A good sized full English for £6.50. Massive selection to choose from the menu board.

Fantastic breakfast, great personality of staff. A real gem of a place, real proper stuff, no faff, just good grub and a great brew.

Extremely rude staff been working eight weeks getting the same breakfast everyday for £8.75 this morning was charged £ 9 .50 I questwhy it was different to be told don’t come again if you don’t like it trouble is I do like it it’s you you horrible cos I don’t like

traditional transport cafe very busy full of workers and loads of takeaway business. order at the counter . collect when yelled. no frills but GOOD. my only gripe is they are not open weekends or evenings

Just ordered 10 Christmas dinners for a department Christmas Dinner. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!! Included turkey. mashed potatoes, roasties, stuffing, carrots. sprouts and gravy. Thank you team for making our day fab x

Came for breakfast but not really disabled friendly for accessing in a wheelchair or scooter good food had to takeaway due to access

Good size portions, not the cheapest place. But it will fill you up. Plenty of choices.

Over priced for the amount of food u get on a tiny full English Also the cup of tea I got looked like it was a unwashed cup maybe was just a 1 of bad experience but that was mine anyway

Awful breakfast, greasy, dirty burnt oil aftertaste, nasty margarine used on toast.

I wasn't prepared for how exceptional the food was here. The quantity of food you get for the price was amazing and I felt very full afterwards. The staff are nice, and the dining area was kept clean.

Stopped here when I'm early. They do the most fabulous range of food. Sandwiches, meals, snacks etc. I always plumb for the cheese on toast, it is on white crust bread, with a thick layer of cheese. Crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth deliciousness that keeps you full till well after lunch. Very busy place in the mornings, good availability of parking and quick service. Cheese on toast... I know, you fancy some right now.

Best cafe on the northwest by far. Food is outstanding. I recommend there cheese on toast it's phenomenal. Love going here for our breakfast before work. 10/10

It was made to order and nice and hot

We drive past here most days and always see how busy it is so finally decided to try. We came on a Saturday morning and it was still busy with customers and local tradespeople. The menu has a huge choice to takeaway and eat in all very reasonably priced. We went for the mega barms with sausage and bacon, as you can see from the pictures they are mega! Bigger than my head in fact. The staff were super friendly and the place was spotless and welcoming. You can pay card too which is a bonus. Absolute gem for breakfast mostly, but the other lunchtime items looked really good.

A proper gut busting full breakfast with toast and fried bread coming out of my ears lol and with a proper mug a tea fabulous way to start your day.

Woman acted like she didn't want to serve us. Asked for two teas, was given two coffees. Breakfast was very average. Sausages were awful. Cheap catering sausages. Won't be returning.

First impressions set back of the main road with adequate parking facility, clean and tidy inside and your not waiting to long for your order. Pleasant staff will call again. Would recommend this place if your ever passing by. Still pleasant as ever. Called in today for dinner and everyone is still pleasant and polite.

I've been going to JD since the early 90s. Best food in Trafford Park. Bacon and sausage on dry toast is excellent.

My son goes to John's Diner in the morning for his breakfast before work. He loves the all day breakfast baps and gets one every morning. Starts his day with a full stomach ready for a hard day's work. Just what he needs.
