Ordered by phone had difficulty parking pleasant lady serving food was warm and delicious 👍

I have gone down to take the order within 5 mins after the delivery guy noticed me. Then, the shop called my wife and blamed that their delivery guy rang our bell for a long long time and urged us to take the order. At that moment, the order was already on my table. The service is ridiculous. Haven't seen the shop will blame their customer, who got the order within 5 mins after being told.

This Chinese is the greatest I have every eaten in the universe I love it and my service on the phone was outstanding with a young boy who was very pretty called Hao but I wish for him to have a raise that boy does wonders on the lines.He deserves a spot at the top of the table with the owners.

I'm quite picky when it's comes to Chinese takeaways but this one is definitely the best iv had in a long time and been going back ever since I first ordered from here, house special fried rice and special Thai green curry, 100% the best iv had from a takeaway ever

Made an order through the app at 6.22 was emailed to say delivery 8pm my partner rang at 8.15 to chase up. They had no idea about said order and asked if we could wait a further 30 min. Really shocking service unfortunately, no apology or explanation. Further phone call made at 8.50!! No explanation yet again so we cancelled the order absolutely ridiculous almost 3 hours after ordering!!

Ordered at 6:20pm over the phone and wasn’t told how long it would be. Rang again at 7:20 to be told it would be another 20 minutes. Rang again at 7:50 to be told there was a miscommunication and they hadn’t even started to make the order! So frustrating that I had to cancel an order 1.5 hours after making it because it hadn’t even been started! Will not order from here again.

Always great food & lovely people running the place, had a great meal at good prices. Another really good Sweet and Sour pork tonight, love the food here. Went in again tonight the lady owner still as happy as ever. Had a shrimp curry tonight...lovely...

I took a 1 star review down a few weeks back after a refund but will do no such thing now. Ordered the food at 7pm and it arrived at 8.32pm with no communication or apology whatsoever about the delay (website said 45 minutes). Beef fried rice portion was the smallest I've experienced since moving to Sale and the beef was stringy and tough. The chicken in the black bean sauce dish was gelatinous and gungy. Chips were good though but a small consolation for the all-round poor experience.

Meal was ok apart from the salt and pepper ribs , hardly any meat and covered in a lot of batter not very nice

Food is lovely but by god, the delivery time is a genuine joke! I was told 45 minutes when I ordered online, then an hour. Currently at 1.5 hours and still waiting, 2nd time this has happened with this place so I guess more fool me.

Honestly can't beat it on price. when I opened up the ribs they didn't look great but wow the amount of meat and the taste was the best and they give you more than most aswell. Salt and pepper chips could maybe a bit more flavoursome but I'm not going to mark down for that due to the quality of everything else. The salt and pepper chips here are to die for! Honestly the slightly dated facade is completely non indicative of the quality of food from this shop. Every member of staff I have met here has been absolutely lovely and massively helpful in my ordering. Food here is great for anything frim a takeaway meal in with a partner or after a night out with the lads!

Absolutely fantastic food. The salt and pepper chicken wings are crispy and well seasoned and their dishes are of a high standard. Chef really knows how to get the wok hei taste into the food, and the service is polite and friendly.

Absolutely love this Chinese for the food quality and selection available. However the service on delivery times or even collection times are vastly inaccurate. Most weekends your order is 30mins minimum delayed. As writing this and hence my review we are 1hr30 min and just been informed of a further 20mins. If they took more staff on this will surely satisfy the demand there is on peak times or weekends in generally.

Had a Chicken Curry with Egg Fried Rice and a Chicken Omelette with Steamed Rice. Really lovely, fresh taste, good quality ingredients and well balanced. Thank you. Delivery also top notch, thank you too :) Well worth 5 Star Rating.

Fantastic food, easily the best in Sale. Unfortunately the service falls well short; on the 3 or 4 occasions I’ve ordered from Golden Bowl something has gone wrong. The app is unreliable, payments were processed but the order wasn’t received and then on the most recent order the food was 2 hours late, despite being promised an hour earlier that the food was on its way.

Great quality food at a reasonable price. We’ve had two takeaways from here and been very impressed. The salt and pepper is excellent!

This is the only Chinese we will order from. Superb, never had a bad one. Their salt and pepper chips are the best ever. Singapore vermicelli 10/10, same for duck in plum sauce. They do a mixed starter for 2 which is insanely good value.

The lady who served us was enthusiastic and very helpful. 10/10 for service 10/10 for food. This is a great takeaway

Well i dont know what everybody is raving about just ordered from here after looking at the reviews food came in 45mins and it was literally only just warm the beef i couldnt even cut through the egg fried rice was very bland like boiled rice with a bit of egg thrown in the chips were very greasy and the ribs were just fatty very sorry but i wont be ordering from here again even the prawn crackers were greasy

We’d become a little disheartened by our usual Chinese takeaway, so we were desperate to find a replacement. So it was a Sunday evening when we searched Google to find a new one and we decided to try The Golden Bowl. We were not disappointed. The difference between The Golden Bowl and our previous regular Chinese takeaway was huge, it was much much better. The vegetables, chicken and prawns were obviously high quality and fresh, and they were all cooked to perfection. Indeed we would go as far as to say it was restaurant quality at takeaway pricing. There’s no doubt we’ve found our new regular Chinese takeaway. The Golden Bowl has restored our faith in Sale Chines takeaways.

fantastic customer service!! Best chinese food I ever had( have tried a lot). Looks good and tastes even better! I live quite far( more than 7 mikes away) and they don’t deliver(obviously) but I don’t mind driving to pick up my order as it’s all worthy.

Heavy on MSG!! Chicken was slimy, the vegetable soup was a gloopy mess, chips cooked in old fat really disappointing. I cant get it around my head that they need to use MSG especially for vegetable soup shocking to think that is there stock?? We don't eat take out's a lot I feel our wages were wasted!! Sat at home still hungry...
