Great Coffee ☕😁 5* A knife and fork with toastie and you are there. Atmosphere well there is nothing you can do....you were full so had to sit outside..... unfortunately the sun chose that moment to go in😐

The waitress who was called Lilly was really friendly and helpful. All the food arrived at a reasonable time and was delicious I would recommend to all. She even told us that there was a larger table available when we were a big party.

Bought a to good to go bag, not the case it was fit for the skip. Shame as not even Greggs give you burn goods.

Staff are really friendly, coffee lovely and cakes are delicious!

The fruit bowl is my favourite, it's the only reason I go there. Although is not always prepared the same way, it's most of the time very good.

Proper barista coffee and good food

First and last time visiting. Young girl serving on the till had a really bad attitude. As I accidentally swiped my card on the sum up (tip) machine and only after was told to swipe the blank black screen to pay for coffee (not obvious!). The young girl just walked off without saying anything. So I was left wondering if I needed to wait for my coffee or take a seat. I then realised I’d been charged extra (for the tip). The girl was now back on the till and rather smugly said “well it does have a sign”. I politely asked for her to refund and she was really rude, tutting and sighing, like how could I ask for such a thing. Another member of staff came over and asked what the issue was, and she loudly said that I want a tip refund in a busy cafe. She made me feel really small. They then raided the tip jar to refund me. I then heard her making fun of me to another member of staff. I just sat in tears feeling upset and embarrassed. I appreciate a tip is small but like everyone, I don’t have a lot of money, and the customer service was lacking even before I mentioned the tip. Terrible customer service.

Apparently the kitchen shuts at 14:30, not 15:00 like it says online and on their menus, so don’t be caught out. The food and cakes sounded nicely and the decor was nice, but it didn’t feel welcoming so we left without ordering drinks.

I went down for a coffee and breakfast today. I received an email after leaving the cafe that i have spent 1.25 hours in the cafe, and i should have left the cafe after finishing my coffee?!! It was extremely rude and disappointing, especially since the first time i was sitting and having my coffee and breakfast there and that 1.25 hours was spent eating my breakfast and having my coffee. I'm not going back here if they dont like their customers to sit and enjoy the meal.

The May additions to the menu (Shakshouka & peach iced tea) go pretty with the sunny weather, must try!

We popped by for a coffee,as we like to try different places,lovely place,nice atmosphere,staff where friendly,my only complaint was the music that was playing was to loud,if you was trying to talk,catch up we found it difficult to have a conversation over the music!!!!

Thank you for your professional and friendly service when I came in to buy 20 hot drinks at short notice the different coffees teas and hot chocolates were all made with care and I'm told they tasted great as well

I had a really nice breakfast and coffee, i went to get a to good to go bag which was also brilliant, i decided to have breakfast whilst i was there and im glad I did.

Very run down place tripped on the floor no viarity of foods to eat they didn’t understand white bread or what a sausage was plus no parking one of the worsts breakfasts in Exeter

Had brunch this morning, first time I've been there. Was very impressed by the care taken by Tom to ensure my meal was gluten free. Put together a beautifully presented coeliac friendly vegetarian meal for me, served in a friendly and polite manner. Good value, nice atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch today, food was fantastic, coffee was great, and the atmosphere was brilliant! Also very impressed with the plant life!

I have been to the tasting room a few times to meet with friends. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service if really warm, friendly and prompt. The food is also fantastic and always temptingly delicious. I had their sausage rolls that were amazing! I don't know what they put in the pork but omg! They were tasty. Got to try the sausage rolls......

I am one of the dental students who comes here regularly. It’s my favourite place to come after a long day in clinic. Staff are all super friendly, food is delicious and I always leave with a big smile!

A perfect place to stop for a tasty quality coffee on the road to Cornwall (though you have to go through a bit of town traffic to get to it) bit of parking outside.

Excellent customer service and dog friendly. Tasty food and drinks with a lovely smoothie and coffee. The portion sizes were generous and very filling. Lovely customers who were friendly too. Would really recommend!

Regular coffee stop on dog walks down the river. Always good coffee and staff super friendly.

The best way to start the day is popping into the Tasting Room for coffee and a pastry. Although other delicious beverages and breakfasts (and lunches) are available! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. There's a good amount of seating inside and outside. There's a children's book library to keep the little ones entertained. And dogs are welcome too!

One of the most amazing pop-up restaurants I have ever experienced. Have been here five or six times now, each time was sold out, filled with enthusiastic foodies waiting to be served the latest creations of chef Rob Dawe. Lovely atmosphere, largely controlled by his wife and Katie (no mean cook herself, who runs the best cake shop in Topsham). Usually starts abt 7pm and finishes by abt 10.30. Have attached the menu we enjoyed last night: mine was a veggie meal, but omnivores had pollock in a crab bisque, followed by a beef dish, instead of the polenta and veggie Wellington. All diners have the same tasting menu, unless veggie or any allergies. Can't wait to go back. Oh, by the way, it's take your own drinks.

20 minutes in and out!!! perfect eggs, crispy bacon, well toasted sourdough avocado and feta was great and well seasoned. The two girls were fantastic

Called in after checking over a flat I let nearby. Nice busy atmosphere, friendly young staff and food (poached egg and bacon on sourdough toast) well cooked and well presented. Delish. Give it a try.

Lovely place, great staff, the "Sunday" coffee though? I get that it might be "fair trade" but to pay £2.9 for a weak latte in a small cup where more coffee ends up on the saucer wouldn't make me come back. Serve coffee in a mug or a larger cup, a saucer belongs with a cup of tea.

I went with my partner yesterday, her and myself were made to feel very uncomfortable by two male members of staff. They were both over familiar and seeked eye contact with me. If this had happened with a female staff member it would of made us feel exactly the same. It's totally inappropriate and rude. My partner was treating me to lunch and two idiots thought they can do what they want, NO! They ruined what precious time me and my partner have with each other in our busy lives. We won't be going back their again to waist our money, and men/couples, heed our experience! Another male member of staff was appropriate in his mannners and approach with me and my partner.

It’s been a few times that I went to this wonderfully good cafe in Topsham Road itself. The hot drinks inside the place is very gorgeous which especially includes it’s mochas being richly filtered. And the cakes too are good to taste as well.

Tasty drinks but incredibly slow service. Was waiting at least 20 mins before I was served, and there was one guy in front of me in the queue. Better organisation needed or at least a time warning! Lucky I didn't have somewhere to be.

A lovely coffee place in St Leonards/Topsham road area! The best coffee in the area with nice selection of cakes. The nice and friendly ladies serving prepared the coffee and food with care! I strongly recommend this place.

I love this place and the tiny pop up shop they have by the Cathedral.

We were on our way to a b'n'b in Dawlish and decided to stop for a coffee. Didn't feel like going into the Exeter city centre and saw this coffee shop driving by. The friendly attentive staff happy to accommodate our little dog, gave him fresh water as he was very thirsty. We had the cosy area in the back to ourselves. Relaxing. The cappuccino was very good as you would expect from a place like this. My chai latte served in a stylish Bodrum glass was creamy and not too sweet. Excited try their food next time.
