For a night out spot it could be organized better. The dance floor is always crowded and the bathrooms have very little room to move around in. Bouncers are not very attentive to safety.

Watched Danny Rampling here on a Saturday night, brilliant night out. Great little bar/club

I recently had my 40th Birthday Party at BOMBA and Brian the owner was very accommodating. The venue itself is ideal both in size, layout and location! I would definitely use this venue again 🌟

Bomba was Rocking last night. Two great bands. ‘Drop in the ocean’ and ‘Land of the giants’ Both were superb and the place was jumping. Fantastic night and friendly vibe.

Please please do not eat at brickyard jerk / bomba!! The rice was soggy and didn’t have coconut milk. It had water still in it when served. The chicken was burnt and didn’t have jerk seasoning on it. The whole food was unseasoned. Had to return my drink as the glass had black bits in it. Please this isn’t Jamaican food. Please don’t believe it’s Jamaican food.

Attended a brunch club event hosted at Bomba. Advertised as bottomless brunch, in the small print was bottomless from 12-1300. Got our first drink bought to the table at 12:20 (it was table service only) and at 12:58 was told that bottomless was finished at we would have to now go and buy drinks from the bar. Appalling that we paid £40 for bottomless brunch to get 38 minutes of drinks (which meant we were only served 2 drinks of watered down juice). You expect the quality of drinks at bottomless to be less, but you expect to have plenty to actually manage to get your moneys worth. I won’t even go into the food, but don’t attend here if you dont want to be served re heated microwaved chips like you’re on an airplane.

Really amazing find, a little off the beaten track but could not recommend it more! Loads of options and halloumi for veggies (which was really really good) and vegan options! The main chef is so nice and makes such good food :)

Wonderful place with amazing atmosphere and even better food. The service is amazing, the staff went above and beyond to cater for me and the rest of the group i was with. From sorting out wheelchair access to the chef being absolutely amazing at catering for my incredibly complex dietary requirements including no gluten, onion or garlic. This has to be one of the most inclusive places in Exeter to eat for those with dietary restrictions and also has amazing music and art work on the walls. I will definitely be returning - the food is delicious and some of the best I've ever had but was so reasonably priced. My daughter had a vegan burger and said it was one of the best burgers she has ever eaten too.

I hired out Bomba for my 30th and it was perfect. The space is very versatile with a great space for a dance floor and 2 outdoor spaces with seating. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating from start to finish. Great cocktails, Exeter needs places like Bomba, I will definitely be going back for future events they put on✨

Had a fab night out with my work ladies here the other night, the venue had a super cool theme. And I had the most amazing cocktails. 10/10 would recommend to any of my friends

I purchased two meals through the TooGoodToGo app , I’ve never eaten here before and it seemed a good deal at £4.50 per meal which should have been £13 , when I arrived there was no one there cooking so I assumed it was all ready to go , a kind lady served me and I didn’t have to wait very long , the two meals felt very weighty so I couldn’t wait to tuck in . Getting home a rushed ti get some plates and see what we had bought ……… rice and tonnes of it , a couple of the smallest bits of chicken that a been burnt to a crisp, this has really put me off , and to think people are paying more than double what I paid … I can safely say I’d never choose to eat here again .

It was absolutely worth it. If you want a taste of Caribbean food. However, I was hoping to see oxtail in the menu but couldn't find. Overall it was a great experience at affordable price as well and great customer service.

I booked a table for 10 people at 6:30pm on a Saturday. I was aware there was a band on at 8pm but was told by you that they would be coming and going setting up which would have been fine. Even a bit of a sound check would have been fine. But they started playing at about 7pm meaning we all had to sit in silence as the band was overpowering. If we'd been told that would be the case, we would have booked somewhere else. When we arrived we were told to all order together so that our food came out at the same time so we did exactly that. I ordered first and I think the tickets must have gone in backwards because I still hadn't got my food when the rest of my table had already eaten theirs. I had to go up to the kitchen because the bar was busy, ask them for my order and I was then handed my food to carry back to the table myself. Having to wait on my own table was definitely worth the feedback so I messaged them in the same way I had booked the table, on Facebook messenger, and they ignored it so I will leave this review in a hope that they can make some improvements.

Very nice bar. Watched the football game there with friends which was unexpected as it was marked closed on the google map

Fantastic new spot on Exeter Quayside with some of the best DJs and live bands around, loads of culture that is sorely needed in Exeter! Don't miss this place on your next trip to Exeter.

Outstanding authentic jamacian food, great chef and bar staff. I can not recommend enough than wow. Great value for money and the drinks are amazing choice and strong.

Fantastic caribbean food on Exeter Quay. The staff are friendly and the food is really full of flavour. Our group had the jerk chicken, queso, queso fundido and the vegan jerk tofu. Great stuff!

Great new venue, the interior is awesome and really well thought out. Music is great, cocktails amazing and the food is fab. Staff are friendly and attentive. The seats out the back on the terraces are lovely in the sun and the terrace overlooking the quay would be brilliant for a private party!

Formerly known as Brickyard Jerk, this place has evolved into a relaxed place to enjoy Jerk food and social drinks.Wings to start and Trini samosas. The Jerk chicken was nicely seasoned, the rice and peas was point. Brian the owner, Phil the chef and Graham the cool bar dude.... Worth a trip to the Quay in Exeter. These guys are on to something. Live music on a Friday too.
