We had the best night celebrating my 30th. The food was amazing, with so much choice we were lucky enough to try a bit of everything. The cocktails did not disappoint along with the service. I hugely recommend! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

I had some great food, with warm Nachos to start, Sweet Potato and Cheese Croquettes and the Venison Nachos. Followed by some yummy Chocolate and Hazelnut Churros for dessert. All accompanied by some cocktails. The service was fantastic and very efficient and the food to die for.

My favourite restaurant! Always the place I go when I want to eat out as someone with a gluten allergy. Fresh and flavourful food!

I came here for my friends birthday and what a delightful experience it was. Tucked away this is a real Chichester gem, great food, great staff and a great wine list. I will certainly be coming back here and recommend you try it too.

Found this place before Xmas after moving to Chichester. Such an amazing independent restaurant. Great food and great atmosphere. The drinks go down well too! Even though it’s lovely and cosy with a good atmosphere in the winter, very much looking forward to also experiencing this place in the sunshine.

Our favourite restaurant in Chichester! We go here: as a couple, with our daughter or with friends. It's great for a cocktail, perfect on a sunny day and excellent for sharing food. I would recommend whatever the day's special is that day and definitely try one of their margaritas. Also... dog friendly!

I came here on Saturday afternoon to try the new cocktail menu and this is such a special little gem in Chichester! A lovely atmosphere where the staff make you feel very at home. The Red Mullet fish tacos I had were as delicious as the ones I sampled in May off the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico. I really like their commitment to zero waste too - great little place worth checking out. Not like the rest of the boring chains in Chichester.

Just the best food in Chichester, so tasty and the beer was great. Atmosphere and staff is warm and friendly. Well worth a visit and free parking outside in the evening.

Outrageously good, love the experience of going to the Taco box, we hired the whole place for our team to come for a party and the service was epic, can’t recommend the team enough, they are nailing it! Seriously if you haven’t been the tacobox yet you are missing out!

Me and my friend have been coming here since it was a food truck,finally it’s got it’s own shop! We went last night for the bottomless tacos and it was amazing, great value for money & included a bottle of wine and desert. Ate this restaurant tonight. Service was good but pressure was on as like most businesses this time of year the custom is unpridictable. Cocktails were very strong and £12 each could have been less string,larger and cheaper. Starter ls both Pprk Ribs ls and Chicken wings were under priced at £6 and tbh between 3 of us 1 main and 4 to 5 starters would have been enough. Main coirses range in price from £9 to £12 in the main. The venison Tacos x2 was very tasty and the vegi nacos chips (although a repeat of the starters on one plate) were ok. Sadly, the specials were dropping like flies off the chalk board and as a vegitarian the food became very limlted and ingredients repetitive. The Tacos were soft tacos and a little disappointing for £11.50 for 2 small tacos . Great ambiance and friendly. Kitchen was spotless and the owner jumped into the kitchen like Superman! Total cost was £33 per head with 2 Cocktails and 2 beers (. The second beer came just a bit late to suppliment the main course) but this was just pressure on the FOH manager. I have to say the flavours were very very good Service was good in the circumstance. Value for cocktails would have been better with less alchol and larger glases and priced better. Specials we would have liked to try but this was due to the unexpected rush. Menu is limited and ingrediants and choice were repetitive more so for Vegitarians. Experiance was 4* star really but knowing the pressure on small businesses atm i have given 5 * and will return very soon and hope the 5* is well earnt.

An innovative street food place in Chichester. Wraps and crisps and other fried/roasted food. Chair and tables made of recycled scrap Very trendy. Drinks are £12 for cocktail, less for beer and wine. Friendly staff and edgy venue, was a bit cold when -2 outside. Best for groups.

The restaurant is a hidden gem. Only a couple of mins from the town centre. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is amazing and the cocktails and mojitos are awesome. I have been 6-7 times now and each time it has been great.

Went for lunch with the family, my daughter loved her mocktail, (great drinks selection generally, looking forward to going back when I’m not driving to try the cocktails) the food was outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Came here in September for a family meal on Taco Tuesday, we were not disappointed! Fantastic margaritas, cod tacos and wine! The mexican Chenin Blanc was unreal.

Went for lunch after doing some pottery at Biscuit Pottery in Drapers Yard. Delicious margaritas, lovely tacos, fab elotes and the best cauliflower we’ve ever had. Really traditional Mexican food - took us back to our honeymoon in Mexico. Would highly recommend, will be back for more margs!

Amazing restaurant and the food is incredible! We had wings and elotes to start, both delicious. We then had pork burritos as a main. The whole meal just blows nearby restaurants out of the water. Cocktails are amazing, especially enjoyed pepper and mint daiquiri. Highly highly recommend.

We had a great first visit to the Taco Box on a Wednesday evening. The ambience is lovely, casual but nicely done. The spicy margarita was excellent and all the food was amazing. Lovely friendly service from Tom too. Highly recommend!

Really poor experience. We had a table booked inside and when we arrived there was no table inside and we were asked to sit outside and wait with an offer of complimentary cocktails for the inconvenience. We waited a further 25 minutes before we were handed drinks list and menus after which our table was now ready. We finally got our cocktails 45 minutes after we had arrived. We ordered food which they had got wrong and when it arrived we had to send it back. The waitress was not aware of the dietary requirements and nor were we asked if we have any allergies. Once the correct food arrived we ate and paid up shortly after. The food was really average. When the bill came the complementary cocktails were on the bill, which we had to then ask to be removed. They then proceed to only take one of the drinks off and charge us for the second. Really poor experience, poorly managed and staffed. We won’t be returning and would not recommend to anyone.

I love Mexican and this ticked all the boxes for me! So tasty, great cocktails and really nice location. Inside lovely but I reckon on a summers day could spend a whole evening in their outdoor area!

I went to The Taco Box with a couple of friends and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, we had some cocktails - they were nice but I did have to send both of mine back, that was more because they weren't to my taste though. We had looked at the menu beforehand so were excited to try all the lovely Mexican food! However, what we had was incredibly disappointing - I had a halloumi burrito which was so bland I had to ask for salt and then some garlic aioli just to make it palletable! There were a few bits of halloumi and then a lot of cabbage, both in the burrito and on the side! My friends had some cauliflower nuggets that didn't seem to have been drained properly of the oil as when you bit in to them you just got a mouth full of oil! Overall, the cocktails are fine, the atmosphere is good, service is okay but the food was pretty terrible really. Not impressed and would not recommend!

I’ve been a huge fan of Martins food since first meeting him. Taco Box in Drapers Yard Chichester is the best place to go for fresh Mexican food, great atmosphere, and a great twist on tequila cocktails. Martin, you and your team are doing a great job!

Hidden gem, great menu variety and the quality of the food was fantastic. The chef and owner Martin came and spoke with us and he was so lovely, as was our waiter. Amazing value for money and the best margarita I've had in my life, 100% recommend!

Tonight was my first time visiting The Taco Box and I have to say I will 100% be returning. The food was vibrant, flavourful and super tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive too. I took my 11 year old daughter and we shared a halloumi burrito, pulled pork nachos and chicken tenders. The portion sizes were just right. We are looking forward to trying something else next time as we saw plates being brought out to other tables that looked equally as good. In Maisies words 'it was BANGING'

We visited this restaurant based on Google reviews and liked the exterior and interior decor. The area has a cool vibe to it and if you are looking for a pleasant, relaxed place to go for a drink then this is an ideal spot. Our waiter was friendly and helpful (they informed me they could control the spice in the food) and efficient, and we ordered the chorizo meatball burrito and sweet potato burrito. We were extremely disappointed by the quality of the food which was a bit tasteless. I ordered the sweet potato burrito but there was hardly any sweet potato in it. They also both lacked flavour and felt a bit dry. I only ate half of mine and though I did take it home (thinking I might try to eat more later), I decided to throw it away as it wasn’t an enjoyable meal. There was also no pulled pork (they had run out), even though we went early (5:30pm on a Thursday). Overall, I’d recommend the area if you’re looking for a place to have a ‘happy hour’ cocktail but not if you’re looking for a tasty bite to eat.

Had a lovely meal sat out in the garden area in the sunshine. Great service, amazing cocktails and great food. Amazing burritos and nachos to die for! Only reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is that the toppings on the tacos are a little samey - all had the same red cabbage on and it would have been nice to have different salads etc on top to make the flavours stand out! 100% reccomend this little gem in chi.

TacoBox, all I can say is that this is a must visit. 4 of us went for lunch and it did not disappoint. Luke, our server was efficient, polite and respectful, staff make or break a place and it seems TacoBox have nailed it. We sat outside in the sun and everything was clean and tidy. Can't wait to go back.

Was really excited to try and disappointed after hearing it was great. The tortilla chips that I'd heard rave reviews about weren't cooked evenly so some were soggy. The well cooked ones were tasty, though. The jackfruit burrito was really disappointing. I think maybe the chef didn't know how to prepare jackfruit? It was left in huge chunks, like it had been poured straight out of the can instead of shredding it into smaller pieces, removing the harder bits and marinating it. Meaning it didn't absorb any flavour and was just salty with an unpleasant texture. There was also a lot of cabbage and onion, far more so than black beans, rice or corn, so those were the two dominant flavours. There was also a lot of onion in the salsa dip and the broccoli guacamole, so onion seems to be the favoured flavour. My friend who has eaten in person there before and really liked it, also felt the cauliflower burrito she ate was bland and the tortilla chips weren't the same as when she had eaten there before. She had really enjoyed her sweet potato taco and chips when she ate there the last time . The guy we picked the takeaway up from was really nice, but the taste was really lacking, sadly. Sorry to leave such a negative review :(

Went to taco box for the first time today, got a couple of burritos to takeaway. Have to say they were absolutely delicious and I’ll definitely be back. Bit on the pricey side but so worth it.

I've been following the Taco Box for a while now, and every time it popped up near me, I had to visit. So when they announced they were opening a restaurant, I was thrilled. I've visited a few times now and really it's one of the best places to eat in chichester. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is chilled and relaxed. The food goes without saying is the star of the show, which really has incredible flavours and is always changing!" ( Don't get rid of that queso fundito though, or I may riot!) They have localled brewed beer by my favourite brewery, The Escapist, and others too. With a huge selection of tasty cocktails and really lovely wine. If you're looking for a really nice date night, this is the place to go. They have a large outdoor area, which will be a winner in the summer ☀️ cocktails in the sunshine!! I will return many times and thoroughly recommend this to everyone! If you haven't visited yet, go now! Thanks to The Taco Box for always being awesome! 🌮

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! Their Queso Fundido (which is pretty much a cheese fondu) is absolutely incredible! Food that makes y out nod your head whilst eating it, and puts a smile on your face! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming...
