Very good food and service. Lovely cosy atmosphere on a grey gloomy day

I really enjoyed our visit here for lunch. We were a group of four and we enjoyed our lunch. Seated quickly, orders soon taken for drinks. Time to peruse the menu, not rushed and not left waiting. Beautiful timing. All the three courses we ate were all good. Car park is small and it's likely you will need to park on the street. This can be a way off as there are several restaurants on the road.

The best pub, for food, atmosphere and a good chill out, has become our local since we moved to the area, we wouldn't go to any other pub, the owner Millie is lovely and her manager, Olivia really take care of every detail, everybody in the pub makes you feel welcome and the food is to die for, every dish has to be tried, today was the roast, but we try to try a different dish every time we come, we have a 15 year and a 7 year old and they love it, I think more than us, can't wait for our next weekly visit.

Hands down the best Sunday roast and well worth the visit to the beautiful historic village of Denham for. Make sure to supplement your roast with their excellent Cauliflower Cheese. Also deserving of comment is their speed of service - no sooner had we ordered than our lunch was with us - and their friendliness. They always remember my parents when they visit.

Very good food! Highly recommend. However, I have noticed the food portions have gotten smaller from the previous visits. For the price they charge, you're better off going somewhere else where you get a lot more for your money.

If I can add more stars I would. We have celebrated our big day here, and we couldn't have choosen a better location. From the staff super friendly and always smiling to the fabulous food, that all our guest appreciate and complimented. This was the best choice we could have made. Everyone looking for a venue this is for you. Just perfect.

We had a lovely meal in the large and relaxing beer garden of this country pub. I’ve seen they have their own carpark although I parked on the street. I found my meal to be excellent and the service great. I will come again in the near distant future. My dog was welcome here. Plenty of water bowls and outdoor table seating. A cracking place.

This is a wonderful pub with a beautiful beer garden. Dogs are welcome and they have a lot of vegan and veggie options. Staff are lovely and food is excellent. Will definitely be back again!

Quite simply, as pubs go, this is the best you will find. In fact, this is as much a restaurant (such is the quality of the food) as it is a pub. The food, service and atmosphere is brilliant, friendly and relaxed. I have no hesitation in recommending the Sunday lunch as the best around, but they are way beyond a Sunday only venue… we love The Swan ❤️ 🦢

Been here several times, very disappointed today, had fish and chips, unfortunately it was mainly batter and very little fish. Mentioned my disappointment, but I didn't feel it was made aware to management.

a beautiful setting in Denham, not too far from the station. There's a few pubs to chose from. The Swan Inn has a generous outdoor seating and the food is not from the freezer, which is what we look for in a pub. Staff was really friendly and service was good. Would definitely visit again to see more of the village and have a wonder round.

My partner and I fancied a trip outside of London and we ended up in the local area for a lovely walk. We knew nothing about The Swan before we arrived. All I can say is it was absolutely delicious. Every single dish we ate was masterclass. The tuna loin was the best piece of tuna I have ever tasted . It was mind blowing ! The service was also excellent : very attentive and kind . We are coming back !.

I’ve been to the village many times before but never eaten in The Swan. I popped in for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. I had the chicken thigh special with roast new potatoes and asparagus. Very well presented and delicious. The service was friendly, efficient and just the right level of attentive. A calm and classy spot for a bite to eat.

We went for my birthday, the service was just right and the food was too !The only slight thing was the Rose wine was £29 which was a little expensive but it didn't spoil a lovely meal.

Booked for Sunday lunch at 1pm, inside main bar for 5 adults. The Swan has a lovely atmosphere. Food service was impressively quick and was very delicious. Roast meats were so tender (lamb and chicken) and veg were fresh. Yorkshires were super. Sticky toffee dessert was spot on - not too heavy but very moist. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A beautiful pub with wonderful staff. We were a group of nine, with three children and a dog. We were given a table in the marquee which was perfect for us (being rather chaotic and messy). The staff were truly wonderful, the Sunday roasts perfect and we had a fantastic afternoon. Thank you so much.

Despite booking early for xmas eve shunted to the back annexe where the dog walkers/diners congregate..shame as the main restaurant had space and we arent dog owners otherwise nice venue

This is a friendly, welcoming place to eat. Both the food and service are excellent. The varied menu offers well presented meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.

A nice and small place with a lovely outdoor area in the back. The service was really good. The food was a little bit cold sometimes, but we came with a big group, so that's fine. Besides that the portion size was great and the food itself good.

A delicious Sunday lunch (vegetarian option) with all the trimmings but the vegetable portions could have been more generous...very small for the price we paid.

Nice and warm, the atmosphere and the ambient temperature. A good wood burner, parked just outside the front door, just what I needed after a long day's work! The food was great for quality and enough of it, cooked perfectly, I had hake.

We had a very nice meal and the service was excellent. My husband really enjoyed the rebellion beer and the house white wine was good. Only thing to mention for improvement was the table top not secured to the base so it rocked if you put your elbows on it.

Nice pub but the Sunday roast was disappointing for £20, the veg simply consisted of finely chopped cabbage. No carrots or anything else. Very average gravy. Service was good.

Came here as I was working in the area. Service was great and recommendations were given. Food was phenomenal and I would definitely come again.

What more can I say other than go to this place and enjoy yourself.

Don’t waste your time absolutely junk the money you pay for ain’t worth it what a waste of journey and money absolutely terrible never go back there again I highly recommend next door which is the green man

I visited the Swan Inn in Denham today Friday . Was really looking forward to the steak I was so disappointed at what I was served up mostly fat and very thin steak . Would expect much better especially the price . Was asked if it was ok before I started eating my meal I said yes until I got quarter way through I did say at the end and they did agree with me it wasn’t the best but no discount was offered . Sadly would not return .

Been for Sunday lunch today with my daughter. Very disappointing. The salmon pate was ok. The beef was tough and tasteless, potatoes tasted poor quality , very few vegetables 4 tiny pieces of carrot and a little chopped cabbage . They charged 4 pounds for stuffing which was I’m sure uncooked although the waitress said it was . The desert apple and blackberry crumble was stewed fruit with ginger biscuit crumbled on top not cooked plus a scoop of cheap vanilla ice Cream for 7.50 . Won’t be going back.

I’ve been coming to The Swan Inn occasionally for years. It’s always welcoming, the food is unpretentious, tasty and caters to all tastes. Very reliable. For us the very best thing is that dogs and kids are allowed in the dining room. The odd woof or kiddy tantrum is tolerated, and somehow it still remains a civilised, cosy and quiet room. It’s a real village pub - log fires blazing, antique settles and half timbered rooms all add to the atmosphere. In summer there’s a big terraced garden (being done-up right now) Hamburgers and trifle got top billing yesterday. After lunch take the dog for a run around in the country park at the head of this very pretty (and posh) village.

Keeping coming back to the little gem of a village pub/restaurant located in Denham. A very friendly atmosphere, staff are polite and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, special mention to Tracy who went above and beyond to organise with the chef a special dish. Menu is very nice, a decent wine list, dog friendly, booking is a must.

I joined my father and his friend NYE for lunch and had what I thought was going to be fish & chips. It wasn't, however it was most delicious, very high quality.
