visited again ,maintains Excellent British pub. Roast dinner and caramel sunday 🍨 lovely food and portions. We will return. Highly recommended. Friendly staff nothing too much trouble.

Great! Enjoyed a couple of glasses of Chardonnay and a cheese board. Staff were friendly, polite, and accommodating. Also sat in the garden in the sunshine, lovely. Highly recommend 👌

Ordinary & Expensive I ordered a piece of steak & chips with a starter & a glass of wine. Waitress & other staff were friendly but I didn't hang around for dessert as fairly disappointed with what I'd consumed after looking at prices. Chef & Brewers once upon a time we're good places to get a decent reasonably priced meal. Won't be back.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, plenty of parking and very tasty food. Good choice of traditional pub dishes as well as more fancy cuisine. Desserts are delicious.

Nice homely pub, good food, polite and friendly service. Good all round pub! Came for Sunday roast. Food was excellent, trio of roasts, the beef short rib, and the mushroom Wellington, all delicious, prices reasonable, good sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets, truly excellent and all served hot. All the staff were friendly, attentive and courteous. They do a really great job of hosting. Just great all round!

Turned up to be informed no venison medallions as had run out on a Burns Night and was then told for dessert only two portions of cranacan left so one of our part would be disappointed, the two most Scottish things on a Burns Night menu. We have enjoyed the Burns Night before at the Red Lion and so took some friends this year. The experience made us having to apologies to our friends for an extremely bad night so will not be returning for the Burns Night again. Wouldn't mind but the venison medallions are on the winter menu. Think the chef needs to review his ordering techniques.

Loving the food - it’s always so good I visit at least twice a week and the staff make the perfect experience especially Michelle the young lady at the till who knows exactly what I want so attentive can’t fault this place

Lovely cosy pub with warm and friendly staff. We were a party of 7 and a dog, all very well looked after. All the mains hit the right notes with flavour and quantity. Only minor quibble would be that the kids burger could have been bigger in size and they had ran out of two of the popular vegetarian options. The two vegetarians in the party still managed to have a satisfying meal so all good. We would definitely be back!

Myself & a couple of friends came today and enjoyed a variety of dishes off your festive menu. We had not been to this location before. My friends had a starter of garlic prawns and which they thoroughly enjoyed. We all had roast turkey, which was cooked perfectly and moist. The chocolate bell was enjoyed by one of my friends whilst Myself and another friend ate the trifle, which was absolutely delicious. The food was actually coming out hot, considering how busy the staff were. The waiter was helpful and checked on us often. The atmosphere was pleasant with others sharing christmas get-together with family, friends, or colleagues. We will definitely be coming back. Merry Christmas to all 🎄

Lovely meal today at the Red Lion in Iver. We were a large table for an Christmas lunch. Food was excellent, staff attentive - extra gravy for roasts brought out as standard. I had my first ever sparkling alcohol free glass of fizz, wasn't quite the same as the real thing but overall very nice and could enjoy knowing that I could safely drive home afterwards. Thanks to the team at the Red Lion for making us welcome this afternoon.

Nice quiet pub offering great food. The staff are attentive and friendly, recognising their regular customers and giving a feeling of community. Seems many people visit weekly for Sunday roast or breakfast. We've visited for Sunday roast many times and the food is wonderful. Visited for breakfast for the first time today and the food was amazing, and never over priced. Clearly a very well managed pub with staff who love the place.

I booked online and mentioned I have the need for 2 high chairs for my baby girls. Arrived and we were seated in the gang way between table rooms. Now to me having babies or kids for that matter sitting in high chairs with their backs towards servers squeezing through with drinks or food ; being babies or kids they only have make one small move to knock the servers and cause an accident or vice versa. I think some attention to planning ppls seats is required rather than being dumped just anywhere available and considering I booked in advance there’s enough time to plan. Finally before anyone says they were fully booked there was clearly ample tables available. Lastly the food took 25 mins to arrive, I feel this is a bit long considering we have babies. These 2 points let down what is a good place to get good restaurants food

Lovely Food at a reasonable price

Sunday roast was fantastic, price is reasonable, ambience is great, facilities very clean, and super dog friendly, only thing I have reservation is the service, the staff just crumpy with no reason at all.

Needed a place to stop & charge the car. I pre booked the table with a request we are sat in a corner that’s quiet as we had the dog who is anxious. We were placed in the perfect location where no one would be passing us. The dog was so relaxed & the staff were lovely. We waited no longer than 10 mins for food, desert & drinks & our table was cleared promptly. Considering they were very busy it was very nice to see the staff look relaxed & on top of things. Food was 10/10! Staff 10/10! Thanks again. We will be back

Great food and lovely service. The entire team was very attentive and helpful. We tried 3 of the Sunday roast options - each of the meats was cooked to perfection. The desserts were lovely and right sized. Thanks for accommodating our request for an earlier time.

I visited The Red Lion after a long walk in Langley with my dog 🐕. This pub was recommended for its dog-friendly atmosphere and proximity to the park. The food is consistently high-quality. I’ve been here before and have never been disappointed—the temperature, taste, and portion sizes are always excellent!! Kudos to the chef and team. Despite the pub being busy, I chose to order at the bar due to missing breakfast. Both my dog and I were well taken care of—Hope enjoyed a bowl of water and milk, followed by some sausages, while I had a pint and a delicious toad in the hole. 🙃 Service was warm and welcoming, especially from the woman who served me... thank you 😊 My only suggestion for the Red Lion would be a slight update to the decor, which feels a bit cold and affects the atmosphere. This may be just by the bar where I was sitting... Something cosier might make it feel more like a traditional pub, though this may be personal preference and opinion. Thanks to the team at The Red Lion for making my visit to Langley so pleasant. I’ll definitely be back soon!!! .

States that they are dog friendly but when calling to make a booking for a table of 6-7 people for a Sunday meal, we were told we cannot book, as they can only sit in the bar area (or outside, in November!?) with our dogs, which they will not reserve tables at all in the bar area as it’s first come first served. We are travelling from the other side of the country so need somewhere we are guaranteed a table after a long walk. Such a shame as was looking forward to eating here as have heard good things about the food. So impossible for us to book. Would not consider this “dog friendly” as advertised.

We go there regularly on Sunday, as our daughter has extra tuition in the morning. We generally have the English Breakfast and a bottle of fizz. What a great Sunday!

This is my go to pub and has been for many years now and for good reason. The food is always top quality and generous portions. Great selection of pub classics but specials too which if your looking for something more seasonal or a treat there is always something to tempt the taste bites. Plenty of larger but as an ale man I am pleased there always seems to be three on tap. Great news is they have started breakfasts too!!!! And if your not a drinker the is tea and great coffees too so no excuse to get down and have a relaxed time ....staff are always friendly too so if I duck down by myself they are off a friendly chat too. Very welcoming and although close to home there's plenty of parking. I don't have an electric car but there is a charge station there too!!!!! So all is catered for....just what you want from a great family pub!!!!

A warm and friendly atmosphere with really good traditional pub food. The children's menu also has a wide variety of options and our children love the desert choices.

Michelle warmly welcomed us to the Red Lion for our Sunday breakfast treat. We had visited only once before for breakfast but she remembered we loved a pot of tea ! Delicious food again and great service. The chef even popped out for a friendly chat !

Went in for breakfast today (Saturday morning) and it was pretty busy with just 2 staff on, Michelle and Erin. Despite how busy it was, they had it completely under control and the food and service was brilliant as always. Kudos to those two 👏🏻👏🏻

We visit the red lion at iver about once a month , and we both feel that Michelle and Sue are always so warm and welcoming, and they are both so attentive, even though they are often quite busy . Our food is always hot and delicious and we would like to thank them both for making our visit a pleasure.

Met up with an old neighbour and went to the Red Lion, have been here loads of times over the years a lovely pub with great food always been our go to pub for less formal grub.

We have been living in this area for over 5 years and never stopped by this pub. This evening, we decided to try it and are glad we did. The ambience was great, amicable staff, and great service. The food was overall good, it's just for my son's Crispy Chicken Burger, the patty was a bit chewie.

The Red Lion is an excellent pub all round. We discovered it last weekend and went back again today. The food is fantastic at very reasonable prices and the staff are friendly and attentive at all times. We had the steak and ale pie and fish and chips alongside 4 very substantial kids meals and they were all eaten without issue. Thank you for taking the time to say how well behaved and courteous our 4 children were. We will be back again and again.

Yet again another fantastic meal. Because of the gorgeous weather we decided to eat outside and the food and service were still both excellent. We had 2 courses cooked beautifully and the service was without any fault. We have always loved it here and it goes from strength to strength.

Went with friends for fathers day lunch, friendly helpful welcome as we entered. A set menu with a large and varied choice at reasonable prices. Good food and plenty of it. Service was a bit slow to start with getting drinks but very good from then on. Highly recommend, we will go back.

This is one of our locals. we go here as much as possible. food is great, staff are amazing and they are super dog friendly! we bring our exempted bully here all the time and are treated no different which is refreshing. We can even order him sausages from the menu!

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat on Monday at lunchtime, lovely welcome as we walked in. We decided to sit in the garden and take advantage of the lovely weather. Really dog friendly (provided with a bowl of water) & offered dog treats!🦴 Opted for the chicken and bacon ciabatta that included crispy fries. We shared a trio of puds for dessert which was also delicious. Reasonably priced & great service.

Google sent me here to recharge my EV and what a pleasant surprise. The pub is really good, serves Green King IPA (my local brew), really good food, and has 2 x EV charging stations in the car park. I stayed here for drink and a meal in the beer garden while waiting for my car to charge and it was really great. Great atmosphere, really peaceful, I'm back and forwards to Heathrow quite often and saved this place in my my favorites.
