Very friendly pub where the staff are good at what they do, friendly & helpful. Also the only place ever, I've actually seen/used some half pint Newcastle Brown branded glasses.

Excellent food great Sunday dinner

First visit having moved to the area that day. Great little pub! Very friendly atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming. Food only served on a Sunday. We will definitely go back

Great local pub very friendly no real ale

Excellent venue , service is impeccable. Its the best and cheapest pint locally. Landlady is a diamond! Always a warm welcome! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dog friendly place to eat and drink.

Lovely pub log fire lovely range of beers and a beautiful garden

Me and my friends walked in hoping to get a drink. The lady asked us if she can help us and when one of us asked for a drink she told us she didn’t think we were over 18 (we are 22). We told her we had ID and one of us showed her their ID and she rudely said she still wasn’t going to serve us even with ID. Never felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately unable to give ZERO stars. Avoid at all costs.

It was a nice evening with a jolly pub quiz thinking about the old school days because of the questions that were presented. Service was good, very nice lady that makes you feel as if you were at home.

Sunday lunch today was really good. A very well cooked and presented meal with no fuss.

We were strangers to the Pub but the locals inside were friendly and welcoming. It's a 'proper' old school pub, which is great. Our Sunday cooked meal was delicious 😋. Each component of the meal was perfectly cooked!

Just returned from Sunday Roast Lunch. Fantastic food. Fresh vegetables were superb. The Lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth. Will definitely return and recommend booking to all.

It's clean and the beers kept well. The new fence doesn't have a gate. Where is the emergency exit from the premises and it's grounds. Does it comply with health and safety?.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a 3 course well cooked lunch and drinks and didnt get out of our seats!! Really looked after.

Sunday lunch was excellent, staff were kind and not too over the top with customer service. We’ll definitely be back...well done The Swan.

Cosy little pub with big screen TV and jukebox and fruit machine. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff and usually quiet so no problem getting served. Also allows dogs in the bar as long as they are well behaved!
