We all had fish and chips and it was very good. The service was a bit slow but friendly enough.

This was a food stop for me before meeting people. It's a very old style of building showing off old school craftsmanship. It was nice and quiet and fast service, but I would say it's a bit overpriced £17 for breakfast with tea

Wonderful pub, lovely service! Our server Sumany I think he was called) was fab. So attentive but not over bearing. So kind and our annoying requests were no problem! He was so efficient clearing tables and generally a huge asset to their team. The pub itself was lovely, golod atmosphere. Quite busy. We were on the tables out the back where it was slightly quieter which was nice. But the outdoor tables also seemed lovely and had heaters. Food was good. Decent portions and good selection.

Here on vacation and we this jewel right across from the park. Great atmosphere and we really enjoyed the food. And our waitress? Kruppa, was fantastic! Can't wait to go back !

Cozy pub right next to Hyde Park. No space problems like in other pubs. Good beer. Food looked pretty good too

Disappointing breakfast, the avocado toast is not made with fresh avocado, expensive given the very low quality of the products. Might be different for diner but I don’t recommend breakfast, it’s a tourist trap :)

Excellent! Just missed the Pub-mood when sitting upstairs.

Cute place but on the other hand the food... to avoid, for brunch at least. Really not good, not much in quantity, but a lot of Hollandaise sauce which makes the dish very heavy. We took extra mushrooms for a few euros more. They brought us a single mushroom in a small bowl. Very dear the little button mushroom! We had a good laugh. Our wallet a little less. Not friendly service either.

Well, expensive and not too many options. Bit rude as they saw our 3 yo kid, but the fish&chips (Chips!!) was good

Nice pub, grade 2 listed, opposite Hyde park, which you get great views from up stairs. The food sadly was very mediocre.. order was wrong .. tepid food and dry £12 for full English Management did to be fair rectify the mistake but resulted in dry over cooked, I suspect the food was placed under a heater rather than cook the order fresh .. Would I go back .. I would but not for food

One piece of toast with avocado and two tomato pieces for 10 pounds is just too expensive, even for London.

Loved the meat pie and the place was packed. Staff allowed us to sit at reserved table if out 15 mins prior. Really fun and lively place.

I always go to this pub when I visit London. It's wonderful to sit on the terrace watching the cars and people passing by Hyde Park. Nice and service and good food. I recommend!

Very good pub, fast service and friendly staff!!

Went for Sunday roast. The meat was overdone but the accompanying vegetables were quite tasty. There was a Yorkshire pudding that seemed tired. Everything was helped by gravy. But … this pub has one of my FAVORITE beers, Fuller’s Black Cab porter. That was the highlight for me. Next time, I’ll just have the beer.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE .!Be very careful they take advantage of you whilst you are in relaxed mode. They added the service charge twice and when I phoned them the next day to query this . They replied, that they always add it to the bill then give the customer a choice to add it on when paying. We wanted an enjoyable night out and didn’t expect to have to read the fine print! It wasn’t worth the 1st service charge, yet alone the second

Great place to sit down and listen to live music and great food. The location can be booked for private functions so make sure to have a back up if you're turn away, and plan to go back another time.

Lovely breakfast and a nice change from an impersonal hotel dining room. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We will definitely be back next time we stay in that part of London.

Lovely looking and decorated pub, nice surroundings. Food just OK- could be better as could service. Roast chicken very disappointing, just a chicken breast and leg shoved on a plate with some veg. I asked for a portion of onion rings with my burger and only hot 3 sad , small looking rings... not much choice for kids. Shame, had higher expectations.

Visited for a lovely breakfast after staying at the hotel next door. Friendly staff Good choice Lovely atmosphere As being healthy we had avocado and poached eggs on toast. All usual full English available too.

Our first night in London came here on hotel recommendation. By far the worst restaurant experience during our London stay. Expecting pub food, portions were small, overpriced and to be honest awful. After waiting 1/2 hour for desserts cancelled and called it a night. Would never return and not recommend.

Eaten their before for breakfast which was very good ,so decided to go back for breakfast and it was very poor ,won't go back for breakfast ,but good atmosphere in the pub .

It's a nice English pub where you can feel a bid of "British spirit" Unfortunately we were there on Saturday and due to low staff we had to wait long time to be served. Food is acceptable as same as prices. Yes I gk there again if I'm in the area.

It looked very good.. pleasant atmosphere.. unfriendly waiter, it was 9 pm and he rushed us to order the food, claiming that the kitchen was going to close. But the worst part was after we finished eating and were talking at the table, a mouse simply appeared in the middle of the room, running from one side to the other. Afraid, I got up and went to the cashier to pay and told the attendant who thought it was funny, and even asked if it was small or big. As if the size of the animal matters. I was imagining the kitchen as it shouldn't be. Unfortunately we weren't able to film it because the animal was light. I felt like I was in the movie ratatouille. A feather !!!

They say they close at 11:30 p.m., but at 11:10 p.m. they kick you out of the place. Of course, they have no problem selling you drinks at 10:45 p.m. The atmosphere and food/drink is good.

Pub very well located, traditional. Came for breakfast on a Sunday morning, average quality, not generous. Certainly a favorite place when the weather is nice to enjoy the terraces or in the evening.

We wanted the pub experience, and in 3 days we dined at 8 pubs to try all the cask ales. We were there Saturday February 3rd at 5, and one particular man (I should have gotten his name) went above and beyond expectations!!! I wanted something different to drink and eat - I couldn’t decide. He kept asking questions to understand what I was looking for in food and drink. He brought the menu over checking off everything he thought I would like. It was packed, and he jetted around making everyone happy - a live wire ball of energy. He kind of made it the best experience. The pot pies were AMAZING

Had an evening meal with delegates on a training course in London recently. Staff were friendly and food was very good and had been cooked properly and not just microwaved

The Swan by Hyde Park was the perfect stop for our first day in London. It’s the quintessential cozy English pub. The patio has great views and the food hit the spot. My husband has fish and chips, and I had the sea bass and both were cooked to perfection.

The money there charge for the food and size it not worth Ive only I been In London all day and we were so hungry and tired and was the closest to are hotel never eat in they again I find I was rip off big time

When I came with my friend in August 2023 the staff was friendly and I ate well. On December 7th we returned, but a completely different story. We asked for dinner and the pub waitress said to go directly to the restaurant and ask for 2. The cheese burgers were watered down... it can happen and the onion rings soaked in oil... no. The next day we show up again, wanting to stay nearby. We headed towards the restaurant and the annoyed manager/owner stopped us saying that we had to ask at the pub first and then he would ask if there was the possibility of having dinner. I gave the cheese burger a second chance... more watered down than the day before. What can I say... if you change the rules once a day the hypothetical customers wouldn't know about it. Strange, it hadn't happened to me in England yet.

9 quid for a mulled wine that's 6 in Hampstead and 7 In the west end. Really???

We booked a table for a small work Christmas dinner, but were dismayed to find that they had no vegetarian dinner options, as the only one on the menu was sold out. This was at 6pm, so I dont see how it could have sold out. They obviously hadn't prepped any. The waitress suggested a mix of chips and onion rings, which doesn't really do the job as a Christmas dinner. I had a salad instead. Brilliant. We asked for a second wine list so that more than one person could read it, and they said that they only had one list available. Seems a bit strange. When we were about 20 minutes into our dinner, a waiter came and moved our glasses and bottles aside to put a "reserved" sign on our table for the next seating. We found this to be incredibly rude, as it felt like we were being hurried. The reservation wasn't due for another two hours, so it felt unnecessary. We took the sign off while we ate, and the waiter argued with us until we let him put it back. Not very Christmassy, and I didn't have the energy to fight him too much on it, because all I'd had to eat was a salad. Well played, The Swan. So all in all, OK food (if what is on the menu is actually available), awful service.

Great spot to relax from the city

Tradition food in a charming pub with a lovely atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, although not overly so - just right! The food was good and very much appreciated by two hungry people who had spent the day travelling. I’m told the Guinness was very good!

Food was underwhelming and outrageously priced given the quality of what was brought to the table. Portion sizes fell well short of expectations. Expected much more for the price. £17.50 for a cheeseburger not much bigger than McDonald’s! And the Maccas burger tasted better! Service was prompt but not exactly hospitable. We’re still waiting for the water that we ordered…. we won’t be returning and would not recommend.

Such a disappointment, ruined a family dinner. Don’t expect to receive the same dinner you ordered, they will have run out !!!

We went for Christmas party with work colleagues, we had a great time and the live music was insane! The guy was asking us what we wanted to hear me he could sing absolutely anything. We had the best time

The employees were very friendly and helpful. Furthermore the English breakfast and coffee were great. All in all it was worth the price tag and warrants a return.

I enjoyed the roast beef dinner. It was delicious. The tea was just what I needed to perk me up.

Tasty traditional English breakfast.

Met up with a few friends for a Christmas dinner. No Christmas options on the menu. Waiter seemed confused everytime we've ordered something and even with drinks, he had to check 3 times before bringing them over, totally fine to check but he had a notepad. No service was provided apart from when food/drinks were brought over and when it got to paying. No checking on our food, drinks weren't topped and we had to call the waiters even though we were right next to them. No last drinks have been called, only when we wanted to get another round we were told that the bar is closed. Nice Christmasy decor around, but that's it. Do not recommend it unless it's your last resort. 10% service charge automatically applied for nothing...

Delicious! Very glad we came here! Prices are not bad either; corn fed chicken, haddock fish & chips with 3 beers $81 (£63.73). That's what we spend in the US for not even as good of food!

Staff were unwelcoming upon arrival, pints were underpoured & when a member of our group requested a glass, the glass was wet and warm straight out of the dishwasher. Before closing, the last order bell rung 10 minutes before the pub closed, allowing customers to order drinks that they would then have to pour themselves into plastic cups (under scrutiny of the pub’s security). We were rushed out of the pub rudely, and feedback given to the pub was taken with a lack of appreciation. I would avoid if expecting an enjoyable pub experience. The pub security then blamed the pubs alliance with the Fuller Group and accepted no responsibility for poor experience. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I was left very unimpressed.

OJO!!! NOS ROBARON EN LA ZONA DEL RESTAURANTE. Ha perdido todo el encanto que tenía. Iba cada vez que visitaba Londres. Siempre estaba lleno! Con un ambiente súper divertido!! Esta vez estaba vacío. El cambio me pareció horrible, esa pintura verde/azul agua es... 😖😖😖😖😖 la hamburguesa seca, sin sabor. Penoso. Y para completar, NOS ROBARON !! A mi amiga la tarjeta, y a mi 200 libras!! Abrieron los bolsos, cogieron los monederos de las dos, nos robaron la tarjeta y las libras y volvieron a dejar todo en su sitio y con las cremalleras de los bolsos otra vez cerradas!! OJO!!!

Le hasard fait toujours bien les choses. En nous rendant à notre hôtel hier, nous sommes passées, ma fille et moi devant ce restaurant. Nous y sommes revenues pour manger et nous ne l’avons pas regretté ! Personnel et plats au top ! Pour un pris raisonnable pour Londres … À faire sans hésiter !
