Had the best roast chicken! It’s a great pub in good location across road from Hyde Park. The staff were efficient and friendly especially Indira.

Back in this amazing place after meeting here 21 years ago, Now here as a married couple, I know it took 21 years!!! lol There is a special place in our hearts for The swan Thank you for everything X

Very cozy athmosphere. I like the interior decorating and especially the always popular and easy 90’s music which plays with just right volume. Not too loud to enable conversations but loud enough to listen.

Nothing special . Worthy of a note they have the cleanest loose I've ever seen in a London pub. Pity the glasses weren't the same.

We had dinner Saturday night 14/09/24 at the room on the left at the back on ground floor, food was great and staff lovely we were all happy. The gentleman who seems to be in charge was very helpful and friendly.

We had an excellent meal at The Swan tonight. We all ordered different menu items. I had cod with sweet potato chips, wife had Chic BLT and brother steak with nachos. We all had salad . Wonderful tasting food. Hot food hot, cold food cold and beer was good too.

We décidéd to try for a pint before the hotel, luckily there was live music starting and found a seat for us. Good mushroom paste and such small dishes to try. Music was good.

Great service, decent selection of pints (though mostly the old standbys), and clearly a decent place to go for a happy hour. It is Hyde Park so there were tons of suits around, which ruins the vibe for me but isn’t the pubs fault! It is a Fullers, so it feels about the same as others. With some local options around, I’d go to those instead.

Discovered by chance, ate very well!

I think the reason the fish and chips here are so good is because I haven't tasted any other delicious fish and chips yet... It felt like they used bad oil and it was soggy. I wanted to get out quickly. It's not particularly friendly... I went there because there were a lot of people, but it's a place I'll never go to again. Oh, the peas that came with it were delicious.

Surprisingly good for how close it is to Hyde Park. Pretty views from the upper terrace but seating near the bar is nice too. Good selections of beers on tap. We had the fish and chips which were really good. Fries were cooked crispy on the outside but soft inside, perfect!

My wife and I visited London for a long weekend in August 24. The Sunday roast they advertised as the best in London! Quite a boast, but we decided to take the restaurant at its word. Without doubt, it was the worst Sunday roast I have ever been served. First of all, there was no roast beef option - it had sold out - so I opted for the roast pork option and my wife roast chicken. The roast pork had been completely overcooked, tough as `old boats`, cabbage was also overcooked to mush, apple sauce was stale and tasteless, and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt and hard as cardboard, carrots overdone, weird tasting potatoes from a tin which they roasted, can`t even be bothered to make proper roast potatoes - while the gravy was synthetic, unpleasant and made out of a packet. How hard can it be to caramelise the meat and use the meat juices and stock as a basis to a gravy? My wife was served overcooked grey coloured chicken drumsticks, and all the other trimmings which were all badly cooked. You would expect a chicken roast to have white breast meat but no, they served up cheap, tough chicken drumsticks. The meal was the worst I have ever been served in a restaurant, I wouldn`t serve that rubbish to my dog. Even after complaining to the waiter and telling him what we thought of the food and how terrible it was, we were still still given the bill for the full price of that muck - no reduction was given despite sending back plates of uneaten food. I bitterly regret paying the bill and wish should have refused to, but did so just to get out of there. Advice to diners, do give this place a miss it will leave you with a very disappointing dining experience. After leaving we went to another restaurant (Park Restaurant, Bayswater Road), where we had a great meal.

We always go to The Swan, near Hyde Park, as it’s on our way to and from Central London home. We love the atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly. We meet a lot of nice people visiting London or living in the area, like we do.

Server was very rude. Brought a meal we didn't order and got mad when we told him that we didn't order it. Had to argue for a few minutes.

Last minute decision to go to the Swan. Food was delicious…we had the chicken breast and the London Pride beef pie, both were amazing! However, service was superb thanks to our new friend Krupa, who couldn’t be more accommodating!!!

While on Buisness, I visited the Swan Pub near Hyde Park London, great atmosphere, although I didn't have food, I was told by guests that it's very nice

My little one and I had Burgers, they were great. My wife had Fish n' Chips and she REALLY enjoyed that meal as well. Prices are fair, service was on point, I did not run dry on my Guinness, and overall - the Team was very friendly. Great memories of a vacation dinner.

Dinner for two. The menu is not necessarily very special, but the food is of high quality and very tasty. Allergies were also taken into account. It is a very attractive pub where we had a nice spot on the balcony. Later in the week we also walked in late and were able to eat without any difficulty. Stikcy toffee pudding highly recommended

Great oasis for food and beverage. London 'pricey' prices - hence 4-stars; no fault of their's being 'central London'.

We went here on Saturday 6th July to have some dinner before robbie williams. The euros were also on so had to stay it was the best atmosphere ever and the food was lovely 😍 thanks to all your team.

Absolutely phenomenal, only regret is that I didn't have room for a pudding. Friendly team when requiring a table for one.

If you get the chance to have a beer, wine or food here it definitely worth it. I would go upstairs and sit on the balcony. Lovely staff. Molly has excellent customer service skills. Mastering balancing her time and attentiveness.

A great place to go at any time, but especially for breakfast, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, good menu choice, full English is amazing, smoked salmon on sourdough bread is out of this world. Don’t miss an opportunity to visit.

Menu at lunch is fairly limited - we had fish and chips, BLT, and steak sandwiches. Chips (French fries in the US) were delicious. Everything else was average. Interior of restaurant smelled very strongly of fish. Outdoor seating would have been lovely except pretty much everyone was smoking including one woman sitting right by the door so the smoke was being sucked into the interior. Won’t be back.

I went there to watch the Euros with my friends and spoke to a nice employee on the phone who confirmed that we had a table booked. When we got there, a rude manager told us that unlike what we were promised, there was no upstairs projector set up because of a private party. There was no private party, which we noticed when we went upstairs. The staff was rude and the TV signal was terrible. Also the food didn’t look very nice and the drinks were quite expensive, even for London standards.

We went for breakfast as a quick stop before the train. Seemed nice enough and table service which is always a bonus. The disappointment was the food and service. One of my family ordered the the bacon bap with added sausage and what came was hardly that. A tiny bun with one strip of bacon and a tiny sausage on the side. Rightful so sent it back. The full English was rather disappointing with one of everything apart from the egg and tomato. There was no salt in three different shakers, which we had to eventually ask for one filled and even the one the waitress gave us was barely there. Two plates were cleared and it took them another 15 minutes to clear the last ones even though everyone finished at the same time. And they brought drinks and saw it and four staff walked passed. When it came to the bill they kept the service charge on and when we asked to have it taken off they were rude and glared at us the rest of our visit. Just really disappointing as been to many London pubs and never had this.

I love it in here. Whenever I'm visiting I try to stop for a pint. Quick friendly service staff and patrons. Hopefully see you soon

The food and dining which was great. Both had the Steak and Ale pie which was delicious and the menu had a wide range of options for most people. The service was a little below par and some of the waiters seemed quite stressed and rushed. But overall a great experience.

went here after an event close by, i think there needs to be some kind of control around numbers in the pub, it was WAY too crowded and service was very slow, not ideal really!

This is a local. Lovely place to sit on a sunny day overlooking the Hyde Park. there are covered outdoor places to sit downstairs and also a few spots upstairs. Good choice of food, albeit not cheap! Friendly staff

Excellent bar for drinking and having an authentic English breakfast. We were also able to sing with the other Dortmund fans. Only drumming on the table was prohibited, which is understandable. Despite the circumstances that there were drunken football fans on site, the waitresses were still very courteous and friendly. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in London. I can only recommend.

Super nice pub, nice terrace and surprisingly large inside. Also an upper floor where you can sit more quietly with a balcony where you can also sit. The pie with red wine sauce is highly recommended!

Was going here for breakfast. In the end sitting here for 15 hours. Took breakfast, lunch and dinner here. 15 Guinness between. Wonderful place. Still waiting for my picture on the wall.

A tourist trap for me. The service was extremely unfriendly, the beer was stale and the fish at the fish and chips was mediocre. Only the fries and the ambience were quite ok.

This is an accessible pub with a great selection of 15 beers on tap. There is a large outdoor area with tables (and heaters), a level entrance into the building, seating inside and a large washroom on the main floor next to the bar. You need to go to the bar to pick up your drinks, so no complaining about the server😉. Service at the bar was quick. We came back a couple of nights when we were staying in the Paddington area. Sorry, didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. Highly recommended for the selection of beers and accessible, level entrance toilet.

The manager, Krupa, makes all the difference at this pub. The place was packed on a Saturday night and yet Krupa quietly and assertively with a genuine smile and lovely demeanor makes sure the customers always receive top notch service with both food and beverage. I had the chicken, spinach, mashed potato with a pint of Neck Oil. Superb......live music, festive atmosphere, great patio upstairs and down. The entire Canadian party of 5 was celebrating an engagement today and the Swan was perfect ... bravo Krupa and team !!!

First time trying here was just as they were kicking everyone out at 11.00pm. Went back the next day for drink on their terrace with our doggies. Tried some of their small plates which were ok. That night went back at 10.15pm. They had turned the coffee machine off. Next morning went for breakfast as we had checked out of a nearby hotel. Had the full english. Wasn't too impressed. Smallest piece of bacon. Poached eggs were solid with overdone black pudding.The other was underdone. Oh well,we will know for next time. Our doggies liked it though. Upstairs is lovely. We only went here because it's a great location and near our hotel.

Passed this place as I was staying at a hotel nearby. Had the fish and chips, the steak, baitfish for appetiser, a glass of martini and a beer. The fish was good and fresh. A very generous portion and tasty. The steak was doable. Had expected the baitfish to be a little more fried. Overall was happy with the dinner. The place was crowded and we were lucky to get a seat rather quickly. As we were leaving at 830pm or so, diners were still streaming in. The area upstairs looked more charming, as it faced the park. Would be nice for a beer there. Would recommend!

Great pub in a brilliant location. Gets busy in tourist season but the staff work hard to ensure everyone gets treated well. Good range of drinks and traditional food. Visited again May 2024. Just goes from strength to strength. The new menu spunds good and there were many empty plates. Excellent pub.

If overpriced watered down drinks are your jam, then by all means go here. I literally paid 16 for each drink and barely had any alcohol. 1hr later I arrived at a different pub and spent 7 for a larger drink and it had alcohol. Don't take the SWAN DIVE....

I have visited the place with my family for 4 ppl lunch. The food was delicious, the staff is very nice, but that smell in a part of the restaurant... Definitely not a pleasant one. They should work on it.

A disaster. I was struck by the location, but as soon as I entered I was attacked by a terrible smell of fried food and fish, which made my stomach turn. Beer ok, but the food truly inedible even by very poor British standards: greasy chips, paid 20 pounds for a chicken roast beef which consisted of a dry chicken breast with four vegetables and other unidentified but still inedible elements. Four beers, two portions of crisps and the disastrous dish mentioned above added up to a total of over £70. Not acceptable, move on

Boss, give your employees more bonuses!!! The staff was so kind and made me feel good haha. What can I say about the food? It's really delicious! It was the most delicious fish and chips I've had in London, and the onion rings that came with it were, to say the least, delicious!! My memories of London were better thanks to this place. It was a good choice not to go to Bermondsey!!🩷🩷🩷 Thank you for making our honeymoon trip a happy one! May both the boss and the employees become rich~~ Have a good day~
