The Super Mare in North Somerset

Great value Food was very poor, Burnt, dry. Lemonade was tasteless and flat. Broken glass on shelf next to table. Very dusty, cobwebs, clearly not cleaned in a while. Many lights not working. Male toilets were falling apart. Duck tape all over floor Table tops very scruffy. Bench seat coverings split and tatty. Generally scruffy.

AMAZING food. Our waiter Ella was wonderful, came to check that our starters, main & pudding were all okay for us. She had lovely mannerism and very cheerful & happy. Had a smile on her face everytime she wondered past us. She interacted with my children & was just overall a great member of staff. Credit to your team! Thank you very much we will definitely be back!

Pleasant place to stop for a meal and drinks food excellent drinks reasonably priced have now called in 5 times this last month. A good 5 stars thank you see you soon.

Food was terrible, steak tasted like it had been sat in the hot hold for a while and was overcooked, chicken was cold, sausages were enemic. Chips were under portioned and cold. Then again the chicken in the burger had the same texture as if it had been hot held for a while. Fries were barely cooked and cold.

Great experience! Andrea was fantastic with all aspects of the job. Will recommend to anyone to come here!

I had a meeting in the Super Mare yesterday and was waiting at the bar to order a latte for the person I was with. Emma was making coffees for another order, had one on the machine and went to deliver the other 2 to a table. She came back, finished the coffee and put it on the bar. Before I could order the latte she said ‘this one is for you, I heard your colleague ask for a latte so I got on with making it’ Absolutely outstanding customer service, amazing listening skills and an asset to the team. Food was very nice! The waffles Benedict waffles were a little bit cold and could have done with a bit more sauce. But other than that very good 😊

Ordered from gluten-free menu. Lady taking order who was training obviously misheard despite us reading order directly in full and accused us of lying about the order of meal refusing to a knowledge or apologise for mistake but said we were wrong ,hence arrival of incorrect order. Refused to correct as order had been given and made despite it being wrong. Waitress very apologetic. Mangeress accusatory and inflexible no offer to improve experience. We will not be returning. The meals were plain but well cooked and ok.

Brilliant service yet again from all staff . Ella on the bar was superful helpful with our allergies making sure the food we ordered was safe for us. All staff are super friendly and food is always cooked to perfection.

We came as a family of 8 people, which I know can prove challenging to cater for. A table was made available for us at short notice. Staff were helpful, the app ordering was straightforward, and food was served promptly. I was happy with the service and food.

Came here last night had a great space of parking available at the pub. We had some food and drinks which was amazing and overall had a good time. Staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Thankyou :)

Joe & Ella were brilliant, nothing seems to much bother for them which made our visit feel even more special. everything was done with a smile, which made our visit feel like a pleasure. Food was served very quickly and was piping hot and tasted so good made even more better by the fact I didn't need to cook it!!! Highly recommend.

Staff are always friendly. Very accommodating when you haven't booked. Love ordering on the app. Very efficient and some good deals.

We went Xmas eve for breakfast with the kids, they was so friendly and nice. They had a Santa who come said hello to the kids; they done thet even before we ordered food so it was not link to paying for it. We live breakfast here but on the 24th it was just that extra bit special

Had a great time with family yesterday, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, our grandchildren were totally spoiled by Irene the manager and well catered for, the rest of the staff were amazing , they loves the super mare as do we, they always asked to come for their food here....the food was tasty and delivered within 15 mins....highly recommended.

went to the supermare pub on new year day. For lunch service was fantastic and staff was very friendly and helpful service by sam very helpful and checked that we had everything our food came out hot we had chicken newyork stake.. m.the chicken newyork was amazing the stake cooked as we ask well done to the chef's for sending out amazing hot food and a thank you to sam for looking after us I would definitely recommend the supermare pub it clean and fantastic atmosphere we will be back happy new year to you all

Went there on the 15th of December, a group of 20 of us went, i payed for everyone's meal, told them the table numbers and explained please.dont take any food orders for the conservatory where is the area we reserved, next thing you know they start taking food orders from our guests knowing I've already payed, they wanted to rinse us for every penny, told them not long after they ordered to cancel and refund my guests, and they said no, there was one woman who was extremely rude from the start, we all noticed it and said.. I don't know her name but she acts like she owns weston and shouldn't be talking to people the way she was, she was the one who refused to refund us all. together we all ended up spending nearly £400, very disappointed will not.go to this place again, food was awful aswell. Nothing but scammers, I'll make sure I spread.thw word too, spending that kind of money and getting treating the way we did is shocking.

Had Christmas dinner. Turkey was so bad was gone off and they still served it. The smell of the turkey was horrendous. Very disappointing for the price we paid

Had Christmas lunch on Christmas day. Enjoyed it so much food was lovely. Staff were brilliant so polite and helpful. Service was really good. Atmosphere was really nice with all the decorations and table settings. Will definitely be booking again.

Over the 8 years we have been eating here we have only ever had 1 bad meal which was rectified straight awake. Definitely one of my goto places for food.

we went on a Tuesday lunchtime for a family get together there was 10 of us ranging in age from 18 mths to 89 years.The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make us all very welcme.We enjoyed the food which was very reasonable and the portions were ample.We will make a return visit.

This is the best pub in Weston i have never met such lovely staff. My favourite bartender goes by the name lewis. And my favourite waitress goes by the name Sam. They are both very lovely and make sure to give you the full experience. Darren makes the best burgers in the world I will definitely be coming back with my family. Noel, 13

Really nice pub with great food. The only pub i have been to in Weston Super Mare where if you ask for your steak medium you get it medium! Nice chilled out atmosphere and friendly staff. Went here for dinner as driving past. The service was not great the staff were much more interested in talking to eachother than giving good service. Food was ok had the lge mix grill for what you pay not bad.

So was on a long drive home and wanted something better than the motorway services. It was a fairly busy night. But the food came quick enough, and was very good. The staff were very pleasant.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast as found ourself in the area at an early hour. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for the price. 2x Breakfast and 2x drinks for just over £16 - can’t beat.

Was there on Friday they have a pool table which given its condition is a joke they expect you to pay for it

Literally never had a bad meal from this hungry horse... It's very good value for money, and the staff are always so friendly and honestly can never do enough for you. Even on their busier days/times we have never had to wait too long, and the food is always hot and nice when it arrives. Big shout out to Emily, who has served us on many occasions that we have visited here - she's the nicest host/waitress ever!
