Checked menue beforehand but when we got there was totally different nothing on it I wanted

First time having food here pleasantly surprised very tasty and fresh cooked not processed chicken was tasty and chunky chips were yummy 😊

We have recently started going to the stump again after a while and since it has been taken over it is fab! The food is amazing, the prices are good, the staff are friendly and chatty, the place is busy and its a really nice vibe now. I would highly recommend the curried goat dish, so nice and cant wait to try more of the dishes by the Caribbean chef, what a great change to the rest of the local eateries!

Called in for food but they'd finished service. So beer it was . The lady behind the bar only took over the pub in December 2023 the bar was very clean and tidy would recommend to enyone wanting a quiet night out with the other half

A must go to. Excellent food, hot and plenty. I had the Cottage pie, my friend ordered lambs liver, neither of us were disappointed The cottage pie was tasty, lambs liver was melt in the mouth. Well done to the chef. Excellent service and atmosphere. Made very welcome by Michelle, Laura and staff, we will definitely be back.

My friend and I came here for lunch and had the 2 for £12 weekday offer. I chose the Lambs liver with mash and vegetables and it was the best I've ever had! Lots of beautifully cooked liver in a fabulous gravy, perfectly cooked vegetables and lovely Creamy mash. My friend chose the cottage pie and thoroughly enjoyed that too. This will now be our favourite place to come. Thanks Michelle and Laura x

Ate here a couple of days ago I had the goat curry it was gorgeous, the others had fish and chips and sausage and mash, they said it was lovely.

We wanted to revisit as it has been a while...the food was amazing and all freshly made. We'll be back soon especially for the goat curry.

Absolutely amazing place! My first time visiting tonight. It's such a lovely atmosphere, warm and cosy. The owners Elisha and Laura are so welcoming, friendly and attentive. They make sure everything is spot on! Great value for money on drinks and fab offers. I didn't plan on ordering any food but after smelling someone's else's order I just had to try something! The food was incredible, can't wait to come back and try everything else! Thank you ❤

Had a lovely meal Thursday afternoon Cottage pie, Philly steak burger and garlic mushrooms with a massive portion of cheesy chips and onion rings. Beautiful

My first visit under the new management and it was brilliant. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and the service was superb. I had the Adnams Southwold bitter, in top notch condition, then a roast beef dinner which was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. Well done everyone and I shall be back for more.

Had a great afternoon with live music.

Nothing wrong with the pub, it is perfectly clean and lovely. The problem was the blonde middle aged woman serving. My wife ordered, realised she had missed a pint off the round (she had not paid at this point) so she asked the barmaid to add it on. Barmaid rolled her eyes and swore under her breath. Sorry, is it an inconvenience for us to spend more money at the establishment? This was during a wake held at the pub. You'd think there would be a little more compassion and patience on this occasion...not that you should be rude to customers on any occasion unless they were rude first.The two young women behind the bar were very polite. Do better.

Went to a friends birthday party there. The pub is really lovely, nicely decorated and very clean. The landlord and his wife were very welcoming

Went today for a mother's day lunch. There were 17 in our party and the food was absolutely sublime. Can't knock anything. Everyone was catered for, the chef couldn't bend over backwards enough. We informed them prior to our arrival we had a vegetarian in the group, they purchased a lovely alternative and gravy especially for her. Desserts were beautiful. Everything was hot and so fresh. Absolutely loads to choose from. Great service from all staff.

Web site says kids welcome. But it appears only before 6pm.it was 7.20 and we were sat in the garden. Hardly welcoming.

Stopped in n for a quick drink and to see if they're were doing food, they were but don't do Sunday roast at the moment. Stayed for a drink or 2, good selection of cask and everything else and good prices too. Plus the landlord has the most awesome dog ever.

I have looked for a place serving a good Sunday lunch for sometime .well I have found A little jem .I had roast beef which was cooked to perfection The more than ample portions of vegetables were delicious I will certainly be calling again

Went down on a Sunday afternoon recently. There was some live music on, sport on tv & some fine cask ales

Thought this was a leeds pub! Not supporting Rhinos as well as lufc is a disappointment, I'm a local and ALAW. Please let me know when your a true leeds loiner and I will spend many pennies x

Had a really good night at the Thursday Quiz on the 21/10/21. Really friendly barstaff and Quiz Master. With the questions at a perfect level. The pub and facilities were spot on. And the beer was nice. Hoping to arrange another Thursday there soon.

Great pub that serves great pints. I have been in several times recently, the pub looks great inside. If you like Leeds brewery, this place is a must. Tip top pints.

Since our last visit in very early January it looks to have new landlord who has given it a new lease of life.
