The Street Thai Restaurant in Mole Valley

It's so lovely to have this restaurant in the village, the perfect place to meet friends for supper. The service is excellent and the food really tasty, Crying Beef is a real favourite. As I avoid peanuts the staff are very understanding and unlike many Thai establishment, don't cook with peanut oil

This is a fabulous restaurant- serving the best Thai food me and my family have had outside of Thailand. The speciality ‘sticky chicken’ is just fantastic. It’s not cheap, but in almost all cases you pay for what you get and in this case you get delicious food, friendly and professional staff and a decent atmosphere. Take away is great too, their app is easy to use.

Could easily been a five but needed a few more people to give the place some atmosphere. Super food very reasonable and service was great but then they only had us and a couple take outs to deal with!

We were originally booking into another restaurant in the high street that messed up our booking ! Looking up the road we saw this restaurant was open, and had a spare table or 2 free ! Great 👍 Let me say , this is some of the best Thai food I’ve had at half the price! I shall be bringing my whole family back again soon . The food eas amazing !

We had different dishes and shared them all, everything was really good. Delicious food, nicely cooked. Reasonably priced and good service. This was our 3rd or 4th visit.

Would rate zero if I could. Driver turned up at the restaurant which is a 5 minute drive away, picked up our food, but sat there waiting 20 minutes for another order to be prepared, to deliver on the way. Messaged him to see what was going on and was completely ignored. Our food eventually arrived in a cold, soggy mess. We tried to reheat it to make it edible, but it didn’t turn out well and defeated the whole point of ordering a takeaway. The worst part was watching the driver just sitting at the restaurant for all that time, knowing the quality of our food would be impacted as a result. It is not a cheap service (especially in the current climate) and we’d be more than happy to pay for it if we actually received that we pay for, but we don’t. After this terrible experience they have sent stock answers to us and haven’t investigated the matter, even though we have presented evidence of the driver sitting at the site for a very long time, delaying our order. Will not be ordering with them again and would urge others not to. Customer service is terrible, you cannot speak to anyone throughout and just get stock answers through the app. They are absolutely robbing people at such a very hard time for us all as a society. Would urge all to please avoid at all costs!!

Food ok - better Thai food to be had in the area IMO. Main grudge - boxes all half full. Expect better when paying £55 for a take away. Beef mass dry - probably as they’d cut the pieces so small… tasty but won’t order again

Great food however waited over 60mins for starters and then a further 50mins for mains with other tables receiving their food before when we had ordered first! Appreciate restaurants are busy on a Saturday night but 2hrs 30 sitting in a restaurant for dinner is ridiculous. Want to be supporting local businesses but certainly won’t be heading back there anytime soon unless service improves!

Early evening dinner on a Friday night when new to the area. Food was really good and the service too. Good value and would have scored even higher if it had a bit more atmosphere.

Our 1st visit to this Thai restaurant. It was a Tuesday evening with a booking for 7.15. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table. Our waiter took a drinks order and when the drinks came to our table I ordered a sharing platter of starters and then studied the exciting menu. We love Thai food but there were a couple of items we wanted to better understand which was no problem for our waiter who was very helpful. Our sharing platter arrived and everything on it was delicious. Our chosen main courses were also excellent and just as described in terms of taste and chilli heat. Highly recommend a visit to this relatively new restaurant.

I am usually wary of Thai food as I avoid peanuts but, having checked out beforehand and mentioning to the staff on the night, only those items specifically saying peanuts (or satay) contain them. Peanut oil is not used. This left plenty of choice on the excellent menu. We were there with friends so each selected a starter and shared them. All delicious, especially the tempura vegetables, the batter was so light. We also tried bits of each other's mains, the Crying Beef and Fishing Village were particular hits. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We will return.

We genuinely love their (takeaway) food and the staff who run it. Highly recommended by us locals. A treat on a Saturday night.

One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. When lockdown lifts, I highly recommend their cocktails too!

My other half had been yearning for a Massaman Curry, it's one of our favourite Thai dishes, so we decided to try The Street; Chicken Massaman Curry was nowhere near the lovely flavour that we've had elsewhere, and the sauce was thin and sloppy...£8.95 Beef Oyster Sauce Stirfry was much the same, this dish is one of my favourites but was extremely poor, the flavour of oyster sauce and garlic done properly is wonderful, this was not, and the beef was not particularly tender either...£10.95 Vegetable Pad Thai again was lacking in flavour...£7.25 Egg fried rice was ok...£3.50 Prawn Crackers were good...£2.95 Not very hot either so had to warm it up indoors. I can honestly say this was the poorest Thai meal we've ever had and not cheap either at £33.60 Total waste of money, we didn't even eat it all.
