Just out in town for afternoon had a few drinks good atmosphere Didn't have food so can't comment on food

Friendly staff, great place to watch the football. Good selection of reasonable price beer.

Decent pint , however when I asked if they would have the rugby league on one of their many tvs I was told they don't really like rugby in the pub ( which is a lie as the only sports team shirt on display was a Wakefield trinity shirt ) I was told they are only having football and horse racing on tv today , which nobody is watching. I'm finishing my pint and going elsewhere.

The new landlord sacked regular karaoke Dj for tuesday to put his own man in He does not have a good sound system and sounds terrible The place was empty of regular singers What a way to go for the new landlord Let the trade go through the floor

Male bar staff has a beef table's are not clean nobody wipes any spillages

It's a fun pub! A bit rough around the edges but it's got a nice atmosphere and staff so nice.

The pub was very busy when we called, We ordered at the bar and a member of staff carried our drinks to our table for us. The only drawback was the upstairs toilets.

Sunday afternoon drinks visited with friend great atmosphere all staff are friendly apart from the doorman what a let down he is to the place never smiles & just stares as if you shouldn’t be in the pub, get shut of him & you have a great friendly place.

This place is the best!! When I first met Nina she was were helpful and cater to everything for the event to ensure it was a good one. The night was saturday 6th july, and I can honestly say we shall be booking you again. I and my families had a amazing time and we are still talking about it today!! Thank-you again to Nina and her staff (also blonde one on bar for party who said I looked like a guy she knew ;-D!!) I highly recommend the 5 star service from them all - everything you did was amazing and atentive, See you all soon!!! Aaron x

If you like your gin and tonic (sorry, gin and soda - no tonic) in a half pint glass with lots of bad attitude from the staff (both manager and glass collector) then this place is PERFECT!!! Not an enjoyable drink and not an enjoyable place to have a drink. Avoid.
