Fantastic pub with lovely staff and great food. I am a coeliac and it’s such a year to have so many gluten free options to choose from.

Lovely lunch and very helpful staff as always. A good choice of beers for everyone. Staff suggested that we move our pre booked table to the far end of the pub as a wake was coming in later which would have impeded our table very thoughtful of them.

Enjoyed a great dinner last night , fish and chips &prawn and chorizo linguine was amazing great staff with excellent service lovely family run pub /resturant

Bought my parents here for Sunday lunch. Very helpful guy who looked after us and went through the different beers/ales on offer and even bought us out a tester. Ordered our roasts which soon came out. We all agreed that the meals were good, only niggle was very al dente veg and roast tatties were not cooked on the inside but everything was still edible and we would come back again at some point.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch - all high quality fresh ingredients cooked to perfection! All the staff were welcoming and extremely kind to our frail mother. Lovely decor and a warm friendly atmosphere. Visited a few times now and consistently excellent so thank you all!

I couldn’t recommend the Station Pub more , we recently held a celebration of life for my Mum there. The whole team were so helpful and professional , going out of their way to make us so welcome with respect and compassion. Great pub and friendly attentive service. Went here with a friend for lunch. She is gluten intolerant and they have a vast array of food she could eat. Also the staff are really switched on to food intolerance and what is on their menu. The beef cheeks cottage pie was wonderful and full to the brim with meat. Will definitely be returning. What a fantastic range of beers. My wife and I agreed it was the best range we had seen in the county. Will be returning as it is ideally placed next to the railway station so we can visit without needing the car.

Amazing look no further for good food and great beer and drinks. Staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our birthday celebrations enjoyable. We have been before and love how the menu changes can't wait for our next visit.

Had an amazing evening here. Incredibly dog friendly (she was treated like a celebrity). The staff were so helpful and attentive. We booked a space at the Station pub to hold the wake of our late father. As always, the welcoming was warm and friendly, and there was a calm atmosphere. We were greeted by the team and enjoyed a buffet of sandwiches, some hot nibbles, cake and tea & coffee. Service as usual was very attentive and our guests commented on what a lovely pub this was, and how tasty the food was. Lloyd was, as usual, very accommodating and I am very glad that the Station was a part of the send off for our dad. Thanks all at the Station! Adrian.

We went last week for both the fondue night on Valentines and again with a group of friends for dinner a few days later. We love having such a great local pub so close to our house! The food is always delicious and as a vegetarian, it’s great that there’s usually a few options for me which aren’t just bog standard veggie dishes. The fondue was excellent (please do another fondue night soon!) and all our friends raved about the food when we went for dinner off the Winter menu. The staff are always lovely and so friendly and welcoming. We will be back again very soon!

17 of us booked our family Sunday lunch here and the food was delicious, our waitress was fabulous and was very attentive, she made us feel so looked after. I highly recommend you book a table here, you will be extremely happy..... I certainly will back! Big thank you to all the staff.

My wife and I went for a late Valentine’s dinner on Sat the 17th Feb, as we both had busy calendar on the night itself. During our meal the team went the extra mile and made the evening really special. The great food, casual yet professional approach and human touch throughout, make every visit better than the last. Which is why we keep coming back.
