Popped in whilst travelling through by boat for a lunchtime pint... ended up having 3 and 5 games of pool. Really friendly place with nice staff and locals ... Even learned how to line up balls correctly 🤷‍♂️

Great Local Pub with a friendly atmosphere

Pint of bitter was £3.00 which compared to the Beehive Inn, is exceptional Value, though comparatively, this pub was very quiet on Friday night. It is a large space which detracts from the atmosphere if it can't be filled. Staff were nice though and given the price, I'd recommend it.

A welcoming and enjoyable local, good regulars and good staff with a wide range of drinks and weekend deals. Would definitely recommend.

Great pub live acts entertainment family friendly

Been a few times the past few months and very quiet,everytime literally 4 ppl in last time we went and 2 were staff, good sized pub though just been empty whenever we've been,staff are nice too but pricey,tenner for 2 vodkas,i think beehive across roads cheaper and thats known for its higher prices.Still im sure its great on its busier days/nights.

Lovely pub inside had a drink couldn't have food due to refurbished kitchen being carried out which is understandable so will be back to try the food 👍 great friendly staff recommend going here fab pub 🍻

Very friendly good entertainment

Awful place, used to be lovely but the landlord is sulky, hasn't a clue how to pour a pint, is really slow to serve and argues with his wife in front of customers. Place is in need of a good clean especially when the drinks are expensive, people expect better when money is tight. Shame when its always been busy and the other staff work hard. Lights often off, place seems very uninviting

Great place, went here tonight, 100% over stayed our welcome but they was still very friendly, hospitable , even offered us jubilee cakes and photos, just a great, friendly place to be and I would 100% reccomend!

Any body have another number to contact them the 1 it gives says no such number

Our local. We love that it’s dog friendly so we often take ours with us. Nice staff and good selection of gin.

The staff are great, the beer is good, the furnishings are nice, but it lacked some atmosphere. I have only visited it in the evening and have no idea if there is any lunchtime menu. [Edit Aug 2019] Been twice this Bank Holiday weekend and it feels much improved (tonight The Rob Martin Band are belting out the classics with fabulous gusto) and I recommend the Thwaites Gold.

This pub has died over the last 12 months. Hardly any customers . Lovely pub inside....such a shame. However will not be going in again due to massive increase in beer prices and lack of customers.

Great pub, best one locally. They have just started doing food which is pretty cheap too. Pool table and usually a good atmosphere, always get a seat

Called in on band night great brilliant band friendly bar staff big improvement clean and tidy had fun with landlord will be back was a group of 10 all girls all said same thanks Peter and Mark for making our night special

Been in ti sample the new menu. There is a range of burgers wraps and snacks available. I had a spicy wrap it was fresh and tastef amazing. Sevice was quick... deffo will be ordering again

First visit for an enjoyable pint

A change of landlord in August gave hope that the pub would improve its poor image . Not so ...!! I am a Friday night regular and am dismayed at the number of times I have to send beer back as it smells vinegary and is cloudy.The bar staff are always helpful , but there is no sign of the landlords , who appear not to care less . A real poor decision by Thwaites brewery to appoint these 2 jokers . I'm finding other drinking haunts and fear this will be the end for my favourite pub . A disgrace.!!!!!!

Well managed very pleasant bar staff,very friendly even those who went working made you feel welcum,and dog friendly.definitely going again.

Lovely family pub. Live acts and DJ every weekend. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff

Best pub in Blackburn, has everything from an excellent range of Lagers, Beers and spirits to a brilliant nightlife. Excellent friendly staff with a warm atmosphere and brilliant for showing the sports. With a DJ on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and live music you are guaranteed a great night at The Station.

Good pub, disabled access, sky sports etc decent atmosphere

We visit here every weekend after walking our dog along the canal, and always enjoy a home cooked quality breakfast by great staff. Excellent quality produce and fantastic customer service. It'll be difficult to find a replacement location nearby.

Staff where very ignorant apparently get a break was more important than getting me a JD, I asked her if I could speak to the manager and all she could tell me was I was a poor sad get and I don't deserve to see him, all in all very rude!

I had the prawn cocktail starter and the cheese and onion pie. It was fantastic really tasty and great value for money.

The station has only recently started to serve food, so we thought we'd give breakfast a try. We really enjoyed it, the food was great. The food was cooked fresh too. We will return again.
