We were a family party of nine at lunch on a Wednesday. Even though it was the Easter break, it wasn't over-busy which was a plus as we had three lively children in our party! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, all interesting combinations & flavours - best pizzas we'd had in a long while! Our waitress, Nicola, & all the staff were super friendly & not phased by our children!

It is all about the cider platter, 5 x 1/3 of a pint of different tasty ciders. The pizzas are pretty tasty too. Had the Blazing Saddles pizza, on our most recent visit.

Delicious food, excellent service from Amelie and her colleagues, very accommodating for our group which included a baby and pram. Family reunion was lovely, thanks Stable team!

Went for a meal with my family today pizza was amazing, it was such a good price for what we got. And to top it off we had the Amelie as our server who was super helpful and had such a bubbly personality and a contagious smile. I highly recommend the stable.

Came to The Stable as part of a trip into town for a few bits and bobs. Met with a lovely, chilled-out atmosphere, *strong* pear cider, fantastic pizza, and a lovely waitress named Zoë, who offered brilliant service throughout the experience. We're local; we'll be back. Thank you!

Went to the stable for a birthday there was only one other group there! Great quick service would have been expected, it was the opposite. We felt as though we were being ignored and the staff would rather get on with downtime tasks than actually serve or pay attention to the TWO tables of customers. We were not welcomed when we entered and we weren’t said goodbye to when we left. I work in hospitality myself and this would not happen. Please train your employees properly and professionally.

We went for a bottomless brunch last Saturday and it was absolutely brilliant! Ollie our waiter was fantastic, we loved him. Great at keeping the drinks flowing, but we also loved what the brunch had to offer regarding food and the atmosphere of the place it was good vibes. Everything was great!

Wonderful place. Went to Winchester on a whim, after being told all the high Street chain places were full, we found here. It is an absolute gem! Amazing food, very reasonably priced, accommodated us without any issues, and the staff were wonderfully attentive. I will be recommending the stable to everyone I know.

The pizza at the Winchester stable is delicious. One of the best tasting pizza places I have been to. The restaurant is beautiful and a lovely place to go out for lunch or dinner. The staff are all lovely making this a wonderful experience. There is also a great cider and beer menu to select from

Had a festive brunch with the ladies at the Stable Winchester, place is easy to find and was quite hectic. Second floor was quite nice and homey but not too keen on seeing the manager standing right in front of the kitchen staff looking rather stressed the entire time we were there. Rest of the staff were quite attentive and very friendly. Could do with more cocktail options and better mocktails.

I feel cheated and annoyed after eating here. When my party arrived at 8 our table was not ready and we were kept waiting in the doorway. About 40 mins later our pizzas ( preordered so no excuse for being this late) were flung on our tables. They tasted fine to be fair, then our deserts arrived again deposited on our tables ( again tasted and looked fine). Upon leaving I tried to pay the advertised price of £19.95 for my meal, only to be presented with a bill for £23.50. They had added a compulsory service charge to my bill! I wouldn't mind too much if we had received any service but we ordered our drinks at the bar and had our food deposited on our tables for us to distribute. I left my £20 at the bar and said " keep the change!". I won't be back.

Can’t fault the food, fantastic. Downsides: We had to ask for our drinks 3 times. Then wait about 20 minutes for our plates to be cleared to then have to ask for the desert menu. Kids brownies were then sent to the wrong table. I get it’s busy being Christmas, but when 4 staff members are chatting at the bar and you and the table behind are all trying to get their attention, it gets a bit irritating.

We regularly come to the Stable as their amazing Pizza’s and Cider are the perfect combination. The Staff and service at Winchester also also wonderful, a big thank you to Laura and Izzie for their excellent service and always making us feel so welcome.

Popped in with my daughter on Wednesday and we both had pizzas. Having been to Italy this year, I can say hands down that these were on a par with the pizzas we had there. Super tasty, amazing bases and just delicious. Really lovely friendly staff. All perfect.

Went to the stable last weekend and was served by Sam. Sam has a lovely manner when speaking to customers, excellent customer service and was very efficient. He made sure we had everything we needed and we couldn’t have asked for a better server. We have been in the stable in Winchester a few times and this was definitely the best experience due to how attentive Sam was, a real asset to the company. Food came out of quickly and was very nice too. Will be coming back soon.

We tried the Christmas special- festive full monty and the pig on pillow. The pizza is nice and the crust is crunchy. There are different type of cider as well.

I've been here several times and always have great food in a lovely space. I'm sure I'll return here in the future.

Good vibe, fantastic pizza , decent wine and an extensive cider menu. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean. Only issue is one of their tables is opposite the door and every time the door opened it was freezing for my 80 and 85 year old parents If they won’t invest in effective above door heating they should remove this table as it’s not acceptable

Had a lovely dinner here, I would definitely recommend the pepperoni. Our server Rosie was so lovely and attentive, nothing was too big of an ask. Will definitely come back.

My favourite mac and cheese is from this place and therefore, when i have a chance I visit the Stables Winchester. On my latest visit I was served by the lovely and really kind Laura who was just top tier on giving us cider suggestions and bringing our amazing food to our table as soon as possible. This is not my first occasion when Laura went over and beyond as last year we were celebrating my mother's birthday in Stables Winchester and she made it memorable with sticking a candle in my mother's dessert and singing happy birthday. I wish all hospitality staff would be just as enthusiastic of giving people unforgettable experience as her.

Visited last week for date night and the food and service was great. Loved the new Pigante Pizza and the Mac n Cheese. Laura the assistant manager was lovely and attentive, couldn't fault her. All in a all a great experience. Thanks!

It was okay nothing special. The food was very plain bland and didn’t have much flavour to it, had a weird taste? The atmosphere was a strange one suddenly half way through felt like we were in a half power cut hehe they dimmed the lights so much which made it hard to see.

Came to the Stables for bottomless brunch with work colleagues and had a great time. Served by Toby who was informative and diligent and all ran smoothly throughout (which hasn’t been the case elsewhere). Good food, plenty of drink and a great start to our day out. Recommend to all

Popped in with my friend for lunch, and the stable has such a wonderfully cozy atmosphere with lovely staff. Had the Hawaiian Five-Oh and by far the best pizza I have had with such fresh ingredients and homemade dough

Great little pizza and beer spot: I’ve been several times and food is decent with good selection of beers. Service friendly; the manager helped to squeeze a party of two in for a busy Saturday night. Atmosphere is always fun and lively. Pizza could be slightly larger than current size but a very minor suggestion.

Salad was lovely but pizza was disappointing and cold. Pizza temperature was flagged to staff and brought back slightly warmer, but not hot. Especially with mushrooms and cheese, it is quite unpleasant to eat those components lukewarm on a cold day.

Perfect pizza in Winchester. Ideal for a lunch and such a great location. Lots of flavours to try so there’d be definitely something for picky eaters.

We recently visted the stable for a bottomless brunch for 16 people ! It was by far the best bottomless we have had, Toby our waiter really looked after our table nothing was too much trouble. The food was spot on and the cocktails were fantastic!! We will definitely be visting again
