First time visiting today. They had no gluten free bread as it was their first day back from holiday and it had not been delivered. Did this mean I had to go out (as other cafes have done)? No! A member of staff asked me what gf bread I like and went off to Sainsbury's to get it for me. She came back with a selection! Now THAT is customer service! My poached egg on gf toast was lovely. Everything was clean and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Highly recommended

Lovely place and really friendly. Stayed in here for a few cups of coffee and a Square English Breakfast. Really tasty and would deffo return.

Lovely cafe, the food and coffee are top notch. Lovely vegetarian options. Staff are so friendly and kind, happy to help little kids order, help placing disability aids, etc. I haven't met a child who hasn't been mad for their biscoff shakes!

Bacon and egg sandwich was very good. Coffee was very good. Service was at a pace not to make you feel rushed.

Been to Square Coffee Co many times now. We went to the one-off Tapas Night recently which was excellent. Chef Andrew is a talented guy!

Tried the pulled pork from the lunch menu, with loaded fries. Perfection at a reasonable price, washed down with the best latte in Rochford. You won't regret visiting Rochford if you lunch/ brunch or breakfast here.

Always amazing food. Fresh and cooked to perfection. Won't go anywhere else for breakfast.

Absolutely delicious food, beautifully presented, tasty coffee, and very friendly staff! I've been back a few times and it's consistently a great experience. When the weather is warmer it's also lovely to sit outside. It's quite small, so it can get full quickly, but I think you can book ahead in advance.

Well worth trying the full English, I can eat a lot but it nearly defeated me. Top notch ingredients. Sausages and hash browns were lovely.

Lovely little cafe in Rochford Square. Only had a latte and a muffin, but service was very good and friendly staff.

Popped in for a quick coffee which was great with excellent friendly service. Next time I'll make time to eat too the food looked great.

My first time here and it will not be my last. I went in and ordered the vegan bun which has vegan sausage, cheese, hash brown and mushrooms. The gentleman serving asked if I was vegan as it can also be served with a brioche bun, which is not vegan. Straight away he was checking and ensuring my dietary requirements were being met. I had a double espresso with it and some tap water. The bun was very good and hit the spot, the coffee was superb and the service was excellent. It's all I ask for from an establishment and it's what I got. I thought the money I paid was totally fair for what I got and felt I was a customer and not just an ATM machine. Thanks for the good service and I will be back.

Decaff cappuc8na is a bit meh. Service good though

It was the first time that I went there for a coffee and definitely not going back.. I visited with some friends that are not British and their English aren’t very good.. my friend asked for a cupcake (but she actually meant a muffin) the guy that was behind the till went it the kitchen and with a bit of irony said to the guy in the kitchen “I want a plate for a cupcake” and they kinda laughed.. then the guy from the kitchen popped his head out and said “they’re muffins”.. I found it very rude to be honest and very unprofessional! Also there are no facilities to change the little one so we had to leave when the little one wanted to be changed.. I won’t go back.

Party of 5 waited 45 mins at least for breakfast and what we were given has made me feel legitimately sick. Eggs were RAW all round the table and it all came under a pint of holidays sauce tainting everything. Overpriced at £60 reguardless of its abysmal quality for what i would describe as the most disappointing and phsyically sickening food i have ever been expected to eat let alone pay for. Never again.

Absolutely amazing burger and halloumi fries this evening, lovely atmosphere and really friendly, accommodating staff , will definitely be returning with my husband for a date night in the future ... The food coming out of the kitchen looks and smells sooo good ! Really good bar selection too ! Thank you ☺️

We enjoyed some really delicious tapas & wine. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly! Would definitely recommend :)
