Really surprised by the high rating, pizzas are poor quality and very bland. Also, service was ok, the young waitress and waiter were very good no complaints there. But the manager, I'm lost for words really! I think his friendliness that I keep reading about is selective. Real shame had high hopes, but won't be rushing back. Just got a prayer sign emoji, just for clarity I've not been back as I previously said I wouldn't. What also shocked me following my bad review, the manager/owner never even tried to contact me as a gesture of good service or to try to encourage me to return! For this reason I am changing my star rating from two to one as I was obviously too generous before.

The pizza is very nice, although a bit expensive especially for a 250ml can of karma coke (£3.75) and £1.50 for a dip. Also the tables are a bit too close together in some parts of the restaurant.

Great pizza, very reasonably priced, excellent service and all round top notch restaurant.

Very delicious pizza, the tomato base was so good and the pizza wasn't drowning in fat like most places. It's definitely the best pizza in Pinner and surrounding area. I definitely recommend going here. Thank you

Really for a small little tucked away Pizza place this was great. Pizza was delicious and honestly not that over priced compared to other places. The vibe was very nice the social red (wine) was light and bright and went great with the food. It was a tad hot the day we went, so we we're a bit too hot at times. But really, other than that, a total recommend. If you want Pizza in Pinner this is the location. They need to rotate out their coffee more, as the coffee I had was from a very old bag and did not taste very good.

Really good burrata and really good pizza in a friendly and crisply decorated venue. Prices are reasonable, staff are super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

Great pizza and the best gluten free base I’ve had since eating at The Stable. Also good vegan options and nice crust dips. If you’re still hungry, the tiramisu was huge! The only thing missing for me was having one pizza with goats cheese instead of mozzarella. Excellent service and a really friendly vibe. Will definitely be back.

Second visit since they first opened. Great food and great service.

We came on a Monday evening, having booked in advance. It was busy, but not full - probably worth booking to avoid disappointment and allow for them to prepare. We ordered a small selection of starters and drinks, followed by a pizza each and desserts. The starters (sourdough bread and garlic bread pizza) were really tasty and fresh, with that signature Neapolitan crust. Likewise the pizza didn't disappoint. I'd say the Margherita could have done with more tomato (or a stronger tomato flavour), but it was really nice still. To finish, we had Tiramisu, which was decadent and moreish. Service was good. Easily the best place for Neapolitan style pizza in and around Pinner, so will definitely return.

Had a lovely family dinner last night. The food was nice and I had the 'When Life Gives You Lemons' Pizza. This was nice and interesting as I do like to try different types of Pizzas. I would definitely recommend this. The service was great and the staff were friendly.

Excellent spot. Get the Spicy Oinky - N’duja and Pepperoni 🍕masterpiece 🤩. Pretty sure others would be as nice. Look forward trying them over time.

Fantastic vegan options. Everything was lovely. The salad had a lot of the jalepeno water which was over powering... But the main reason people go there is for the pizza which was quality. The garlic bread is also very tasty and great value for money.

Good vibes. Good food! Prices also aren’t a rip off which makes a change. The pizzas were really nice and the place is cute! A little small but it’s cosy and good customer service. It’s nice to have a good pizza place which isn’t priced extortionately in Pinner

Just finished dining at The Social Dough Company, really friendly staff, great food and very quick service. My friend is gluten intolerant so they were clear on what they could and couldn't have. We had a really great meal and great atmosphere. Thank you, will recommend to friends.

Great place. Opened in lockdown with a van selling great-tasting pizza and Italian dishes. The burrata was outstanding with great taste, recommend that it be served at room temperature. We had reserved a table. Upon arrival, thinking they were not busy having a table away without checking if there were actual bookings, we then waited for a further 15 minutes whilst a table was cleared. Booking a table was not needed then. Well, what can I say they made it all well with a fantastic pizza and great accompanying salads, they were fresh and bursting with flavours. The portion size of the pizza is huge I had the simple Marina, great sauce with minimum water in the sauce, causing no soggy base. Excellent. They smashed it with the desert, tiramisu was out of this world. Hats off to Veena the cake maker saying hats off to you enter the bake-off.. Great local pizza place you won't be disappointed, book as they are extremely busy in the restaurant and with untold.of takeaway orders. Wishing you the best see you very soon

Worst Pizza Award 🥇 The tomato sauce was acidic, the cheese tasteless, and the dough wasn’t great. I was expecting something light, soft, and chewy. This wasn’t either a sourdough or Neapolitan pizza. It definitely wasn’t very digestible. The place was really cramped; I could hardly squeeze past the tables. It also seemed overpriced (£50 for 2 pizzas, no alcohol). The hygiene was questionable with ants crawling on our table. Behind the coffee machine, I saw about six ants making their way across the wall. The bottled water was already opened, making me question if it was tap water. The staff appeared inexperienced. We waited 15 minutes for table service when the restaurant wasn’t that busy (about 10 people). They also took away food before it was finished. TL;DR, if you're looking for a decent pizza, look elsewhere. I won't be back, and I hope this saves you some disappointment. *Edited to give more context about pizza, staff, and hygiene.

Best pizza's I have eaten for a long time! Ordered a pizza each and a large salad to share which was the perfect combo. The owner was really good at recommendations for the popular pizzas. I ordered 'gone fishing' which was the first time I have eaten a pizza with tuna and it was sensational! And my wife ordered 'spicy oinky' which she loved. Would definitely visit here again.

EDIT: visited again for lunch today (April 2024). Excellent pizza, larger and thinner than previous and better for it. Lots of delicious mozzarella (the proper stuff!) and warm, friendly service. Not sure what the other reviewers are on about, pretty sure a pizzeria like Social Dough only serves...pizza! Go across the road if want something else! The ingredients are clearly carefully sourced and curated and it shows. 10/10 for Pinner's Pizzeria! Long awaited for little old Pinner - a decent pizzeria! Small-ish sourdough pizzas. The toppings are perhaps a bit too inventive but not bad. We went as a large party on a Friday so service was on the slow side. The pudding menu needs adding to. The excellent service is the reason it has earnt 4*.

Whilst a great pizza place in Pinner, and I would certainly go if no other options, but it’s not my fav pizza place. My preference is for the slightly thicker dough, more sourdough flavoured bread, and different cheese. This was harder feeling cheese (not exactly sure what it was, but you can probably see from the pictures it’s blotted rather than stringy). I would recommend though the tiramisu. Whilst not very moist, it was nice and fluffy. So more like a cake.

This place is so nearly there! Love the vibe and menu - such a nice addition to the High Street. A little disappointed with the pizza - potatoes on it weren’t cooked, assume they’d be added raw and just needed more cooking. The dough itself also seemed undercooked in the middle. Quality ingredients and lots of potential, just a few tweaks and it could be great! 🍕

Great prices for drinks and a good al fresco spot for drinks in the sun but the Pizza isn’t up to the mark unfortunately. Lost somewhere between the Neapolitan style and a classic New York pizza it sadly suits neither. Lack of attention to detail with raw dough on the base and raw potato on the special. Great spritz at an honest price but we were left disappointed. It is sad to say from an independent spot but this I really was just a comparison to typical chain offerings. I’m hoping this was just a bad day and it’s early days so there’s plenty of room for improvement.

My daughter and I went on a Saturday night and it was very busy. The restaurant is small and tables close together so I struggled as I use crutches. So its not wheelchair accessible (but there is seating outside) Service was quick and the pizza's were delicious. My daughter had the vegan and mine was gluten free (you pay extra and its not suitable for coeliac's as they're not prepared in a gluten free area) I had a fresh mint tea and daughter had Virgin Hugo which we'll both have when we next visit.

Definitely one of the best meals I've had in a while. I've been meaning to go here since they opened, and for some reason never got round to it. Really kicking myself, as I finally ate here and it was genuinely one of the best meals I've had in a ages. They had run out of burrata, but I did manage to order Sourdough bread, Corn Salad, a build-your-own pizza, lemonade and affogato for dessert. It arrived all at once, which I must admit was a bit weird. I would much rather have had the starters first to keep the pizza warm - the last couple of slices were a bit cold by the time i got to them. That aside, the bread was nice - in slices which is a bit different, but with excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar. Tasted great. The spicy corn salad, true to it's name, was pretty spicy. Jalapenos can be a bit hit or mess, but these were super juicy and quite hot. Portion size was really big, and it was a bit difficult to eat with the excessive amount of food I'd ordered (wanted to try loads of stuff). The build your own pizza was priced a bit weird. Always is, but there are things on the normal menu that are way cheaper than build your own. That aside, the pizza was excellent. Tasted great - the sauce, the cheese, the crust. Not too dense, not too floppy. I added the Sriracha Mayo as a crust-dipping sauce, and even that was great. The lemonade was decent too. Not much to say about it - authentic-ish, pretty tasty, did the job. I finished the meal with affogato. The coffee was nice, pretty strong which I like. The ice cream a little over-frozen but still good after the coffee got to it, and it turned into a coffee flavour ice cream which was pretty great actually. The staff were friendly, and despite it being a bit hit and miss with how they did things, it was hands down some of the best food I've had, and I'd go as far as to say it's one of both Pinner and Harrow's top restaurants. Hands down, great food. All together, it came to £35 inc service, which for the slightly excessive amount I ordered wasn't bad. Defo coming back for that burrata though.

Been previously several times evenings- extremely good in all aspects - food, sefvis, atmosphere . . . This time Saturday 2nd April late lunch got served within literally 5 mins with already cooked pizza with my additional toppings- so not fresh base, cold, chewy. When mentioned to server it was simply heated again. So very disappointed in their attempt to fob us off with literally an old pizza!! Will not be visiting again.

Incredible service from our lovely waitresses Maia & Mia, the atmosphere really put the Social in “Social Dough”. Tantalising, heartwarming, stupendous, and Im not talking about the food!

This is a great new addition to pinner. I first had their pizza when they used to do pizza on the van. I admire the young couple who had the passion and courage and so proud that they have shop here in pinner. I have been there twice the pizzas are amazing and so Are all the people who work there. I can’t remember all the names but they all go out of their way to take care of you. The chefs are great too. I had their garlic Bread and the Mozzarella out of the world and of course the pizzas Are so delicious. I can’t get a table as they are so popular and wish they had a telephone booking system. But a must visit place if you love your pizzas and Italian food. Aftab Ebrahim

Delicious pizza, friendly staff, decent prices with a cosy and warm atmosphere! My partner and I LOVED the pizza here! The pizza base is as flat as one would want them, there is a solid amount of mozzarella, not too much so that the pizza becomes soggy and greasy, and the pepperoni we had on our pizza (we ordered two "Road Trips") was actually seasoned really well and not too oily. The portions are perfect and worth every penny, you don't feel like you've been robbed like you do when you go to most restaurants these days, and although the drinks are more expensive than I thought they'd be (we ordered two colas, £3.75 each) I understand most restaurants make their money through their drinks, and because the pizza prices are decent I didn't mind so much. They also have really cute pizza knives which have the word "pizza" cut out on them which I think is a nice touch (you can see on the picture I attached). Overall, I would highly recommend this place! I've actually even made a reservation again for this week! :)

It’s always a lovely chic place to visit - suitable for family and friend groups alike. Pizza is amazing and lovely socially responsible, independent restaurant. I had the John dough and as a vegan it was amazing. My partner got the road trip and gave it 5 stars too as meat eater. Coffee is also incredible.

What awesome pizza’s ! Yum! Great service and delicious tiramisu. Love the buzzy atmosphere, cool but casual decor and social consciousness. I’ll recommend and be back!

We have so many restaurants in and around Pinner but SDC is by far our go to. Pineapple & Chilli followed by the Oinky - game changer combo and the staff are always so helpful and nice.

We enjoyed the pizza and we would return. However, a minor niggle was that they don't cut your pizza unless you ask them to. The pizza was too big for me. I would have preferred a choice of two sizes.

can not fault our visit. from food to service, it was an enjoyable experience. even received a 20% discount for dinning amongst a party, which was of no concern to us but enough for the lovely staff member to issue one (we did have our 4yr old with us). Bellissima Neapolitan pizza

Food is pretty good, some italian classics and some twists I did enjoy my food. But we went on Friday afternoon and the service was so slow with lots of mistakes and that let everything down, hopefully day try to improve the service because this really effecting customer experience.

Nice food, good service. I had pizza with garlic. It is suppose to be roast garlic. However it felt like raw garlic. Although I am a garlic lover the pizza was overloaded with garlic. Something that needs looking into.

I’ve visited this place 3x in the last few months, food is always great. I normally order the Spicy Oinky (n’duja & spicy pepperoni), but recently thought I’d try something new. The Ham-mer Time pizza (pictured) was delicious. Staff are friendly, though the restaurant is snug so definitely book in advance to avoid disappointment. Social Dough also have a few tables outside for warmer evenings. Very reliable pizzeria, definitely recommend a visit.

A little gem hidden away on Love Lane.. Was recommend this restaurant by a friend and was not disappointed. Great food coupled with great service all at an affordable price around 30% cheaper than most pizzeria's locally. I will definitely be visiting again.

This new (post-covid) restaurant is small so you need to book - we have tried a few times just popping in on the off-chance but there is rarely availability. That is because it is a lovely restaurant with great community values and reasonable prices. It is run by a young couple who clearly put social responsibility high on their list of priorities. There is a thread of sustainability running through everything (eg empty wine bottles being returned for refilling and sourcing sustainable product). Each aspect of the experience feels like real love has been put into it, not least the delicious sourdough pizzas. It is my family's top restaurant in Pinner - a world away from the bland and now defunct Pizza Express, Prezzos and Zizis which we used to have pre-covid.

Friendly,relaxed with superb bespoke pizzas. Staff lovely. We will be back.

Good quality pizza, ingredients tasted fresh and fast to order. I'd say your dough base is a touch too thin and the pepperoni too thick. I'm not sure a margarita with pepperoni deserves a £13 price tag for take away whilst being paper thin. The dough and cheese taste were great but why so thin that you can't even hold up the pizza slice? Having eaten pizzas in Naples and NYC, Social Dough has room for improvement. The initial impression whilst walking in to order was of being served as an inconvenience rather than being greeted with a smile and 'Hi, welcome how can we help?" Customer service does make a difference when a customer chooses to return and based on my first order I'm not so sure I will.

Really good pizzas - delicious base and toppings and a generous size. Service was a let down, which is a shame as it's a good find in Pinner.

This was our second visit to this amazing pizzeria in Pinner. Place is bit small so booking a table is recommended. Staff is welcoming with a smile on face. Menu is interesting and with innovative ingredients. This time ee ordered Pizza with mushrooms toppings and drizzle of truffle oil. If you like black truffles flavour, this ine is highly recommended. Second, we ordered pizza with mozzarella, pesto sauce, and ham. Both the pizzas were having generous toppings. Dought itself was very good. Service was quick too. This is now our go to place each time we will crave for pizza.

Waiter/ess got our order totally wrong. Eventually correct pizzas delivered on a second attempt at different times for a group of 5. Totally spoiled the atmosphere/meal and unfortunately the group of friends said they would never come back to the place :(

The best pizza I have had in a long time - and only a 10 minute stroll from our home. Lovely little restaurant and as the weather was good we were able to sit outside. Sadly this review has lost a star due to the chaotic service....brought a starter we didn't order, wrong drinks arrived, had to wait so long for cutlery I got up to get some myself as the staff were busy chatting so we were unable to attract their attention. We will definitely be back and hopefully the service will have improved but I am already rating the food 10/10.

Quality neopolitan pizzas. Reasonable price. Booked for a large group and staff were very accommodating. Pizzas were generously topped, soft fluffy base and service great, despite being very busy. Good to finally find a decent Italian restaurant locally.

Small shop looks a bit bigger in photos. Companion ordered garlic bread I said I was fine without and just had a disgusting sugar free coke of some cheap brand. Onto mains and I came for vegan pizza but they no decided to tell me they are sold out . We both chose a vege one and it was bad. Poorly made and nothing to it. Ordered some chocolate ice cream and ended up leaving it as wasn't good. Won't go back

Great service, lovely pizza…!!! We were a large booking and they were very good looking after us all.

Good quality pizzas, particularly the actual pizza dough (the toppings were pretty standard fare). A great ethos behind the company. The inside space is fairly small, and it's a popular spot, so you'd need to book. Being small it is quite noisy though.

Found this place by accident and decided to give it a try. Great food. Lovely staff. I recommend it. They cater for vegans too

The pizza was excellent, nice fluffy crust and to top it all off a serrated pizza knife made super easy work of it. Far too many high end pizza places here and in Italy have a basic table knife and you wrestle with the pizza which takes away from it. Really good, genuinely better than others in the surrounding areas.

Overall a lovely place and amazing pizza! We had a little palaver with not having a low table where we could use a high chair when our booking said it was with child and that kids meals not available after 5pm, but Cara was absolutely lovely and did her best to accommodate us. Really appreciated it and will be visiting more often.

Delicious pizza’s! Great local restaurant to visit with the kids for excellent pizzas, make sure you get the popcorn for nibbles to start! Visited twice now and both times have really enjoyed it!
